This was a good main event that continued the story of the tension between The Shield, especially between Ambrose and Reigns. The Shield was able to control the lions share of the match with their combination of technical ability and craftiness before the aforementioned problems cost them the match. This match lacked the dramatic flair of matches to come and in some ways felt like a more pedestrian Smackdown main event than a match that will be remembered for years to come.
