They had to make this permanent triple threat change - even from just a marketing and PR standpoint. I'll tell you what, the crowd was a little too juiced when HHH made the announcement that if he won he'd be in the main event. Now watch him put the belt on himself at Extreme Rules

I think anything at all WWE can do to make us think Bryan won't have his moment is a good thing. That's the emotion and feeling that has kept people invested in this. There is that small glimmer of hope, but it works best if it's a small glimmer instead of a foregone conclusion. So for that reason, I thought HHH getting a spot in the main event was appropriate. It's another plausible scenario that stands in the way of Bryan winning the title. The more of those, the better.
