sek69
This whole JR/Coach/Austin/Batista/Goldust/Vader angle is quite possibly the biggest clusterfuck ever, and it's all because Vince thought he could wave some cash and get Mike Goldberg to leave UFC. The possibility of him turning Vince down was obviously never even considered since they had absolutely no backup plan in place. What sucks is Goldust still looks like he's in decent shape, yet he gets paired with Coach and a horribly out of shape and immobile Vader.
Guest Cam Chaos
I have a feeling USA regret even paying as little as they did to bring them back. So far there has been the 30 minute Austin/Mcmahon sketch, the "legends" beating down Rob Conway twice, JR's firing, the "Dr McMahon" sketch... hardly quality programming. Any remember the "All My Circuits" moments on Futurama where they'd have a character going "Calculon, but I thought you were..." with the reply of "Egyptian?" to spoof the stupidity of sitcom plots? That's what the Vader/Batista/Goldust/Funaki/Coach segment reminded me off. At this rate next week JBL will hire Damien Demento and Mantaur who will turn up to attack Rey Mysterio who'll then be saved by Max Moon and Dink, who will then get jumped by Super Porky who will bring out Big Bully Busick and Playboy Buddy Rose and challenge them all to fight for Taz's right to wear orange. Guest KingPK
I haven't been watching RAW much the last month, but I can say this: JR leaving has completely exposed Jerry Lawler as the horrible announcer he is. He was bad before, but now he has zero chemistry with Coach and he is just terrible as the face announcer.
sek69
It's funny, they need a soild heel announcer and Paul Heyman WORKS FOR THE GODDAMN COMPANY, yet they'd never consider him because of his look. Same with Michael Hayes, he'd be an awesome commenatator, but no.

Same with Michael Hayes, he'd be an awesome commenatator, but no. I don't think his look would matter much, they used him before. However the fact Stephanie apparently hates his guts for speaking his mind when in booking meetings and the fact he eavesdropped on a conference call have ensured he never gets used in a high profile spot ever again. I never actually liked "Doc Hendrix" as an announcer.
sek69
Doc Hendrix sucked, but if they let Hayes be Hayes he can be awesome.
Guest Dangerous A
Hayes is kind of eh when calling the action, but he is very good at getting points and storylines over, which is expected given his experience.
sek69
Since they shitcanned JR, they need someone who can get things over behind the mic.
Coffey
"Once a Freebird, always a Freebird." Also: Over the past 24 hours, numerous Internet reports have claimed that Torrie Wilson has been released by World Wrestling Entertainment. These reports are false. Upon returning home from RAW's trip to Australia, Torrie alerted WWE that she needed to stay home to tend to some personal issues. As a result, Torrie will not be at the Taboo Tuesday pay-per-view. WWE.com will have more on Torrie's situation as it becomes available.

sek69
I love how they take all her pictures out of the Taboo Tuesday promotions, then bash those evil internet reports saying she got let go. I guess it was just the WWE not wanting to promote someone they know won't be at the show. That'd be poor business.... Speaking of, I expect the WWE net-bashing machine to go full blast soon since the company's hit rock bottom and booked itself into all sorts of corners. sek69
Update on Styles in WWE by Dave Meltzer [email protected] Joey Styles was flown out of nowhere to San Diego to meet with Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn today about taking over as the lead announcer on Raw, and he may debut on tonight's PPV. This is an amazing about-face, because just a few days ago the office feeling on Styles was that they wanted nothing to do with him. The new feeling is they have to drop the Jim Ross storyline because they realized they have no way out of it. Jim Ross' job is not on the line in tonight's match with Batista vs. Coachman. The feeling is the company needs to move on from Ross, that Coachman simply can't handle the job after his performance last night nor is the idea of a heel play-by-play guy, a few days ago touted as a new novel approach to TV, one that can work long-term. Styles is now believed by the company to be the only person that fans may accept in the Ross chair without a significant backlash. This is amazing on several levels: 1. It means WWE realized they fucked themselves over. 2. Joey has previously stated he didn't want to do any non-ECW related work with WWE. 3. Putting Styles on RAW would reverse WWE's standard of not allowing people with knowledge of wrestling to do play by play.
Loss
The question is if Styles will take it. The bigger question is what becomes of 1Wrestling.com's ever-high standards in fair reporting, accuracy and non-bias.
sek69
I'm sure Styles will take it if they offer enough cash. WWE's the one that wanted a pretty boy know-nothing announcer, it must kill them to have to make this deal....which itself speaks volumes, doesn't it?
