Perfectly Straightedge
Stampede Wrestling!Live from TV Studios in Calgary 04-01-1984 Ed: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, it's the return of Stampede Wrestling, and I will tell you this. I am excited that we are bringing you all of this action live and in color. We have had some difficultity getting back on the air, due to some unforeseen circumstances, but I am here to tell you fans, that you have nothing to be scared of, cause Stampede Wrestling is here to stay on all of your local stations. Now, before we get started we have some big matches planned tonight. We will see our title holders in action. I am going to tell you fans something that is very special, we at Stampede have decided that the British Commonwealth Title will be suspeneded starting right now and instead we are going to bring in a special title that is going to be called the Television Title. I have it on good authority that Stu Hart has already decided on the two men that will meet for that title, and it will be "NIghtmare" Bruce Hart facing off against.....{Suddenly up to the scene comes David Schultz, and he isn't happy one bit about this news.}David: Let me guess, the old man decided to put his kid into a title match again. Where is the shock there. You see that's why this company got in the shape it's in. Nobody wants to see the Harts anymore!Ed: Maybe if you would have let me finish. You would know that you were the second competitor in that match Mr. Schultz.David: Is that so....let me go ahead and give you fans a special little breaking news. Bruce, you step into the ring and you are going to be in for some serious pain. I am going to break you down, and after I do that. I am going to become the first ever Stampede Television Champion.Ed: Well, that remains to be seen, but in other news. Let's head to ringside where the International Tag Team Champions are ready for their match.Tag Match Non-TitleDavey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid vs Phil Apollo and Eric Sbraccia{A pretty basic match here. Davey and Kid are showing great strides as a tag team. They work over their opponents with some hard strikes. Kid is very stiff in the ring, and you can see that they are sending a message to whoever is going in the line to challenge for those Tag Titles. They work them over pretty quick as this match ends at about 6 minute mark. Davey Boy nails a Running Powerslam and just lays him out for the 1...2...3! Right after their victory we see up to the stage comes Paul Ellering with Nikolai Volkoff and The Iron Shiek.}Paul: Look at that....was that supposed to be entertaining. Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy are going to learn the hard in the upcoming weeks that only one team can stand at the top of the mountain and you are looking at it. My Foreign Warriors are coming into Canada with one goald in mind and that is taking away those very titles that you both hold dear.Shiek: Canada Stinks! Iran Number 1, Russia Number 1.....(Shiek spits down on the set.}Nikolai. What are you two looking at!{Davey and Dynamite come walking up to the set and they get right in the face of Shiek and Nikolai but nothing happens as Ellering tells his ment to walk away and they do but you can tell the tension is rising though.}*Commercial*Ed: Welcome back to Stampede Wrestling, and at this time. I would like to welcome Bret Hart to the set. C'mon Bret!{We get a massive pop. As Bret comes up to the set where Ed Whalen shakes his hand. Bret begins to cut a promo about how proud he is of this company. He tells all the fans that this title that is currently around his shoulder means everything to not only him but to his family as well. Bret talks about coming back from his tour in Japan and talks about the great competitors. He tells all of these fans that next week he is going to put this title on the line and show all his fans why he is a fighting champion.}Singles MatchScott Hall vs Paul Roma{We see a debut for Scott Hall here in Stampede. He looks jacked and has the looks of a real competitor here. He comes in the ring and Roma actually gets some offense going in because of Scott Hall getting too cocky. He gets nailed with a dropkick, and Hall goes flying through the ropes and he is away from the ring. He is actually refusing to go on in the match. Roma is leaping but as soon as he turns his back. Hall grabs him and drops him with a Belly to Back Suplex. Hall makes the cover, and begins laughing about his victory even though he was on the brink of losing the match. Hall doesn't get to do a promo as we go to commercial.}*Commercial*Ed: It is a privledge at this time to welcome to the set Stu Hart.{Stu comes up to set, and you can see that he is proud of his product being back on television. Stu thanks all the local stations for allowing Stampede Wrestling to be back on television. He goes on to talk about all the great Canadian wrestlers that he has brought into Stampede, and he also is bringing some American, and some Foreign Wrestlers as well. He wants to put Canada on the map when it comes to professional wrestling. He goes to on to talk about how proud he is on his sons, and that Bret Hart being a fighting champion and will prove thay next week when he faces William Regal. He then ends the promo by saying it's great to be back and that he is already planning some live events for after tonight's tv taping. He begins telling the name of the locations and the main events for each of those shows.Cochrane, Alberta, CanadaSingles MatchKing Tonga vs Bret HartRegina, Saskatchewan, CanadaTag Team MatchJake "The Snake" Roberts and David Schultz vs Bruce Hart and Bret HartEdmonton, Alberta, CanadaSpecial 8 Man Elimination Tag MatchBruce, Keith, Owen and Bret Hart vs Jake Roberts, David Schultz, Nikolai Volkoff, and The Iron SheikSingles MatchJake "The Snake" Roberts vs David Sammartino{The son of the great Bruno Sammartino is looking to regain some confidence here. He is trying to take it right to Jake, but his offense just falls flat. Jake with a counter to every move he tries. He drops him with a body slam, and he follows it up with a short arm clothesline. Right when David tries to fight back he is met with the knee lift. David is completely out of it, and THE DDT! 1..2..3!! Jake just kicks him out of the ring, and he heads to Ed Whalen who seems surprised by this, as Jake walks right over, and grabs the microphone.}Jake: A lot of men will come out here to this podium and brag about all they have done in this sport, but what they don't realize is that in this business it's not about what you did but rather where you are going. I am on my way to the top. Now, I know the road to riches will be paved in blood, and I understand that. I want one thing to be known. I am not here to make friends with anybody. I am here for one thing only......Bret Hart you have exactly what I am here for. You have the symbol of power and respect. Now I know you are a hell of a competitor but brother what you don't realize is I am the master of the most dangerous move in all of wrestling. The DDT is where it lies. When I bounce your skull on the mat like a football spike you will soon learn just like David Sammartino just learned. Nobody gets up from it. *Commercial*Main EventStampede Television Championship MatchDr. D. David Schultz vs "Nightmare" Bruce Hart{It's Main Event Time, here at Stampede Wrestling. It's David Schultz and Bruce Hart. The start of the match is very back and forth both men get some offense in, but Shultz starts taking over with some nasty offense that is just pure brawling. He is beating Bruce into the corner. He whips him into the buckle and misses a splash into the corner. Bruce with a shove sends Shultz to the mat. We see Bruce climbing the top rope as Shultz is trying to get to get to his feet. He using the referee as leverage before pushing him into the ropes, and causing Bruce to hit the buckle. Shultz is talking trash as he climbs the middle ropes and hooks Bruce. He is looking for the Superplex, but Bruce though is fighting out with all he has, and a headbutt sends Shultz falling to the mat. Bruce leaps off the top and drops an Elbow from the top rope! Shultz is laid out, and Bruce makes the cover 1.....2....shoulder up at the very last second! Bruce thought that he had the title won. Bruce is complaining about a slow count, but Shultz though from behind with a roll up with the tights 1.....2....kickout by Bruce! He throws a wild right hand, but Shultz is looking for the Bulldog, but Bruce with a counter of a shove to Shultz, but he accidentally takes out the referee along with Schultz! The referee is laid out and can't make the count but we see the roll up! Bruce has won this match, but as the referee is laid out....we see PAUL ELLERING COME DOWN THE RAMP AND NAIL BRUCE WITH A CANE! Bruce is laid out as David Schultz makes the cover! 1....2....3!!!! WE HAVE A NEW TELEVISION CHAMPION! DAVID SCHULTZ HAS STOLEN THIS TITLE! We cut to end of the show with Paul Ellering just walking away as Schultz is raising the title in the air! We see a bloody Bruce Hart being tended to as we fade to black!}
kevinmcfl
Welcome to the game! Great first show. You seem to have all the major players involved right from the get go. Enjoyed your format as it was easy to follow. I thought your main event match was very well done and I could just feel the crowd at the edge of their seats. The non-clean win sets up a nice feud early in Stampede and I really liked how Jake Roberts called out Brett Hart and The Foreign Invaders are getting ready for war with the Bulldogs. So much to look forward to!

Perfectly Straightedge
Thanks guys. It was really fun to write. So I already got the next few week of shows complete. I am having a blast writing for these guys. So expect to see a lot more from Stampede. Also thanks about the writing style. I have been changing my style of writing for years but this seems to be the most time friendly so it's probably going to be this style from here on out. Supercards will have a few more pictures included to make it feel special and different but expect this style from here on out. It's the most time friendly and gets the point across. Perfectly Straightedge
04-08-1984Stampede WrestlingLive From TV Studios in CalagaryEd: Welcome to another action packed edition of Stampede Wrestling. I am the voice of Stampede Ed Whalen, and I am excited to bring you the best in Canadian Wrestling right now. If you are new to the program. Let me just say that I am so happy that you are here, and I can't wait for you to witness first hand what we have prepared for you today. Jake "The Snake" Roberts will be here and will be action against Keith Hart, We have The Stampede Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart who is going to put the belt on the line tonight against a very tough challenger in William Regal, We are also going to see The Foreign Warriors in action as they prepare for their upcoming Title Shot against Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid, and finally the Main Event will be Dr. D. David Schultz defending his newly won Television Championship against the youngest of the Harts "The Rocket" Owen Hart, and hopefully tonight we will see why he is called The Rocket.Tag Team MatchThe Foreign Warriors with Paul Ellering vs Kelly and Nick Kiniski{A solid squash here, as Nikolai and The Sheik just demolish these two guys. We see Ellering is doing all the demanding here, and he has his Warriors ready for war. The Iron Sheik finishes the match off the Camel Clutch. This Stampede crowd is not happy and boo'ing up a storm but The Warriors signal for the titles, and that's all they care about. After the match Ellering calls his Warriors to the set. They begin cutting a scatching promo on The Tag Champions. Ellering says that the time is almost up for Davey and The Kid being Stampede Tag Champions.}*Commercial*{We go the set where we see Ed Whalen is about to go over what is happening when we hear from outside the camera....}WOOOOOO!!!!{The Stampede fans erupt in what they know is The Nature Boy! He is here in Stampede Wrestling. The Canadian fans are going mental for this. The first time the NWA Champion is here, but suddenly the fans don't see Ric Flair, but instead it's......"The Nature Boy" Buddy Landell! Ed Whalen seem confused by this, and before he can even get a word out. He gets his hand holding the microphone up the chin of Buddy Landell.}Buddy: Wooo!!! It's great to be here in Stampede Wrestling. Now, if you are wondering about what you are seeing let me just tell you to not adjust your sets, cause what you are seeing in front of you right is now is correct. It is I....The Nature Boy! Live and in Color.....Ed: Now, hold on a second, we all know that NWA Champion Ric Flair is The Nature Boy.Buddy: You mean that IMPOSTER! I am the true Nature Boy, but you see that's not why I am out here tonight. I am here right now to let all of my Canadian fans know that I am here to please you, I am here to give you the hero that you can look up to. I am also here to make a very special announcement you see inside of this special case is something that is very valuable. Something that I believe is a game changer in this company. I hold right here in this case the very reason The Nature Boy came to Stampede Wrestling.Ed: Well quit stalling, and let us know what's in the case....Buddy: You will not disrespect me! YOU HEAR ME! I am the...WOOOO....NATURE BOY! I will be treated as such. So, you know something.....this interview is over! I was going to come out here and let all these people in on the signing bonus I recieved but as I can tell, I am going to be met with disrespect. So you know what, I am going to tell the world on my time now! Ed, you better learn to love seeing me around, cause I am not going anywhere for a long....long time...WOOOO!!!{Buddy struts off the set, as Ed just seems confused and he kicks it to ringside for our next match.}Stampede Heavyweight Championship MatchThe Champion: Bret HartvsThe Challenger: William Regal{Bret is debuting a new attire here. Gone are the tights and underwear, but he is wearing a solid black singlet with a Pink Hart in the middle of it. You can tell that it is a big hit with this crowd as they are going crazy, on the other side of the ring. We get to see William Regal here. This young man is known as a "shooter" as Ed calls him. He has been saying that Regal has been Shoot Wrestling for years now, and has been holding special bouts during the live events against members of the auidence for a cash prize, and nobody has yet been able to defeat Regal. Bret though doesn't seem to phased by Regal's grapple attacks, as the champion begins to out wrestle the shooter. You can see the anger begin to mount as Bret shoots for a takedown, but instead is met with a solid knee to the face! Bret begins taking to beating, as Regal is actually in control here. He whips Bret chest first into the corner. Regal is showing a mean streak that we have never seen before from him. As we head to.....*Commercial* The fans are boo'ing away, but Bret though is showing why he is the champion. When Regal sets up for an underhook suplex. Bret somehow manages to counter and send Regal down with a suplex! Bret takes back over from here and the fans are loving it. Bret plants Regal with a Reverse Antomic Drop and then hits the ropes for a running leaping clothesline that sends Regal down. Bret grabs the legs of Regal to a HUGE pop and SHARPSHOOTER! Bret has the hold locked on, and nowhere for Regal to go! TAP OUT! Bret with the victory. After the match Bret heads straight to the set with Ed Whalen.}Ed: What a terrific match Bret Hart!Bret: Thank you, It's an honor to come out here every week and defend this belt. It means everything to not only me, but my family as well. I am proud to be the Stampede Champion, and I promise as long as I hold this belt. I will continue to fight anybody, at any place, and any time. Mr. Regal was a tough competitor and I believe that he will go far in this sport, but tonight just wasn't his night. I love this company, I love the fans, and most of all I love being your Stampede Heavyweight Champion! Thank you!Ed: Bret Hart, Ladies and Gentlemen, what a true class act! This is the man that I believe is one of the best in the sport today. He does things that I don't believe anybody else can match up to. I am so glad that he is here representing this great company.{As Ed was about to speak again. He is suddenly cut off yet again but this time it is by The Television Champion Dr. D. David Schultz! He comes out and he begins bashing The Harts yet again. He says that tonight he is going to start his war against the Harts, and it all starts with the runt of the litter Owen Hart. He calls Owen a punk kid and says that if he had a kid like Owen he would slap the punk in the mouth. He says that Bruce Hart learned the hard way. He says that Bruce learned that the D in the doctor stands for Destruction, and that's exactly what he is. He says that he holds the belt, because it's time that a real AMERICAN holds onto to this belt, and not a two bit Canadian! This gets met with some REAL heat! Schultz leaves the set with a smile on his face, as Ed Whalen takes us to commercial!}*Commercial*Six Man Tag MatchThe Great Kokina, King Tonga, and The Tonga Kid vs Angelo Mosca Jr, David Sammartino, and Ben Bassarab{Ed tells us that The Great Kokina is a former Yokozuna and is without a doubt a mountian of a man. They are representing their Samoan Pride! They make quick work of their opponents. We see some impressive moves displayed by King Tonga, but it's the boulder known as The Great Kokina that just bulldozes through the team. He is shoving men all around the ring. Finally we get the ending when The Great Kokina shoves David straight into a Crescent Kick by King Tonga! We see the count and the fans are shocked at the carnage they just witnessed. Ed Whalen says that Samoans might have just left their mark on Stampede Wrestling! They bypass the set and head into the locker room as Ed is pushing this through the roof. Suddenly up to the scene comes Jake "The Snake" Robrerts....}Jake: So this is where we are at now. We witness the carnage displayed by The Great Kokina, The Tonga Kid, and King Tonga, and let me just say that I am impressed by it. I am not an easy man to impress, but that did impress me. What do you think Ed?Ed: Well, Mr. Roberts, I thought they looked really strong.Jake: They did look strong....that's a good thing, but that's the reason I am out here right now. I am out here right now to give Keith Hart a chance to forefit before our match.Ed: Mr. Roberts, you can't actually think that Keith Hart is going to quit in front of all these people.Jake: You know something Ed, you are right, Keith won't do the smart thing and just walk away. Instead Keith is going to do the thing that he always does and that is compete, but you know something it's kinda funny though. You watch your brothers compete for all these championships, but you Keith seem to be left out....maybe the old man just doesn't see you as a champion. I mean you have his pride and joy in Bret Hart being handed the Stampede Championship, Bruce is basically the next in line to run this company, and then you have ltitle baby Owen, but where does that leave you Keith....it leaves you right in the middle of nowhere. You have no partner cause your brothers are too busy making singles careers for themselves. You have no friends, cause let's face it. Nobody likes The Harts in this company. So I am going to do something nobody has ever done for you Keith. I am going to hand you this check right here, and I want you to take it, and go do something else with your life. Don't be a wrestler, cause we all know that you aren't going anywhere. So come on out here, and take the money and run!{As Jake is standing there waiting, as we see Keith come out, and before Jake can even say anything. Keith just decks Jake right in the mouth, and this match starts right on the set. Keith drags Jake over to the ring and rolls him in and the bell rings.}Singles MatchJake "The Snake" Roberts vs Keith Hart{Keith is in the driver's seat at the start of this match. Keith is taking it to the evil Jake Roberts, and we are seeing the Stampede crowd going crazy for him. Keith gets pushed away from the referee, and Jake begins smiling. This is only making Keith even more upset as he begins choking Jake....WHO IS ENJOYING IT! Ed Whalen doesn't know what to make of this, as we see Keith Hart has snapped! Jake is screaming for Keith to hit him just like he was Stu Hart! Keith looks confused, as Jake grabs Keith by his neck and tells him "HIT ME LIKE ALL THOSE TIMES YOU WANTED TO HIT YOUR FATHER!" Keith looks conflicted, and he actually just leaves the ring. Jake Roberts is the middle of the ring holding his mouth as he spits some blood on the white canvas, Keith is counted out! As he begins walking away Ed tries to get a word, but all we hear is Keith mumble something about Jake being RIGHT!}*Commercial*{Ed now welcomes at this time Stu Hart!}Stu: Thank you Ed, I am out here tonight to give the fans of Stampede Wrestling some very big news! I have decided that it's about time for Stampede Wrestling to host it's first ever SUPERCARD EVENT! I have already decided on some major matches for that show. The following matches will take place on April the 29th with many more to come! The Stampede Tag TitlesThe Champions: Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite KidvsThe Challengers: The Foreign Warriors with Paul ElleringStampede Heavyweight ChampionshipThe Champion: Bret HartvsThe Challenger: Stan "The Lariat" HansenSpecial 8 Man Tag MatchThe High Flyers, Paul Roma, and Jim NiedhartvsThe Great Kokino, King Tonga, Scott Hall and The Tonga KidStu: These are the matches that have been signed so far, and we have many more to come. I am excited about this for all the wrestling fans in Canada. I have been in this business for a long time, and I am so excited about the crop of talent we have here in Stampede, and we have many, many more superstars to come. I think this showing coming up will put Stampede on the map when it comes to wrestling. We have so many more matches to come but this is just the tip of the iceberg. We still have our Main Event to come. So let's head straight to the ring!Stampede Television Championship MatchThe Champion - Dr. D. David SchultzvsThe Challenger - "The Rocket" Owen Hart{It's Main Event time in Stampede Wrestling. Owen Hart and Schultz. We are seeing Schultz in the driver's seat this whole time. He is working Owen in the corner with a series of stomps. Owen is in the corner, as Schultz is just working him over. We see Owen get show some athletcisim but every time though Schultz works him down and just shoves him to the corner. He runs the ropes and comes full force, but Owen moves.....Schultz is caught off guard and dizzy. Owen quickly to the top rope climbs the top and leaps with a dropkick and takes down Schultz. The Stampede crowd is rocking as Owen is starting to take it to him. He picks up Schultz and goes for a whip against the ropes. Owen goes for a back body drop but Schultz though has him set up and the crowd is hating when PILEDRIVER! Owen Hart is knocked out, and Schultz is going to retain his title, but the crowd gets a nice little shock when into the scene comes Bruce Hart! He is cheering on his little brother, but Schultz though is throwing a fit and demanding the referee to kick him out of the match. The referee isn't doing it and Schultz is ticked off by it. He has both hands on the referee and the referee is going to throw this match out, but the fans EXPLODE when Owen has managed his way to the top rope. Schultz moves the referee, and Owen lands right on the referee with a HIGH CROSSBODY! The bell is ringing and Owen is DQ'd! Schultz though isn't happy and quickly leaves the ring, as Bruce slides into the ring. Schultz takes the microphone from Ed and has something to say as the credits are about to run!Schutlz: I have had it with this company. Bruce, you had NO RIGHT to be out here. I am sick and tired of all this garbage. Stu Hart is out here talking about how he is going to set the wrestling world on fire, but yet he can't keep his son from getting involved in matches that he has no right. I had Owen beat, but now Bruce wants to come out here. Let me tell you something brother. You want a fight, well that's what you are going to get. I am going to give you a shot. Next week, I am putting it all on the line. I am drawing the line in the sand. I am going to put my title, and my time in Stampede on the line, but the kicker, I want you to do the same. Loser leaves Canada. What do you say Bruce?Bruce: YOU'RE ON!****END****
kevinmcfl
Love the show! I had Buddy Landell earlier in this game and found him very entertaining and you did a great job of introducing him WOOOO! Liked how you got the Schultz/Hart feud going hot right a way with the spoiled Hart angle a la Fritz down in WCCW. Nice, well written match between Brett Hart and Steven Regal. Jake the Snake maybe uncovering some Stu Hart abuse! Very interesting. Looking forward to the Supercard!
agentofenton
I'm late to the Stampede party, but how awesome has it been so far? I love the roster and the champion's you have. Great work.
LowBlowPodcast
I am a little biased against a very young, rookie Owen Hart jumping into the main events even if he was one of the all time greats. The same would be for William Regal who is only about 17 or 18 around this time of his life. It is a weird line with have to try and tow when writing. Outside of that, this is the World Class/Von Erichs of Canada in the same good ways. I am interested to see if there can be a Freebird type unit to come in and give the Harts the real test of time they deserve and get Stampede firing on all cylinders. kevinmcfl
I completely agree with the comments on the rookies but I think we are all somewhat guilty of this. We got very excited with the fresh face draft on 1984. There are also some very young wrestlers from the original draft who may be ahead of their real life accomplishments. I am also finding it difficult on how hard a push to give Bam Bam Bigelow who was only 23 at the time but I would understand a Hart, no matter the age, getting a huge push in Stampede. I think on the other end, we are also guilty of holding on a little too long. I mean I am still using Ernie Ladd in a big way and in real life he was almost completely done by now. Perfectly Straightedge
Stampede Wrestling!Live from TV Studios in Calgary 04-15-1984 Ed: Welcome ladies, and gentlemen to Stampede Wrestling, as always I am your host for the evening, Ed Whalen, I am proud of the talent that we have coming to your television sets this evening. I have heard that we have some really special matches, as we will see The Grea Kokina in action, and along we are going to see the debut of a very special Tag Team that is sure to be rock n' rolling all over this arena and it's the High Flyers consisting of Shane Douglas and Owen Hart. They are sure to have these fans and especially the ladies on the edge of their seats, and not only that we are going to see William Regal issue a very special challenge to any member of our audience here tonight, and then the big one happens tonight. We are going to see Dr. D. David Schultz defend the Television Championship against Bruce Hart. I promise you fans this is going to be a huge night for Stampede Wrestling and I can't wait to see what is going to happen tonight! {The scene moves over to the ring and here we go the opening contest for the evening.} The Great Kokina with The Tonga Kid and King Tonga vs Paul Roma {Paul Roma is coming off a nice showing against Scott Hall, but he runs into the bulldozer that is The Great Kokina. This kid is a natural athlete in the ring and the big monster just drops with a shot to the throat. He tosses him into the turnbuckle and he comes charging into the corner, and Ed Whalen is swearing up and down that the ring moved with that splash. Kokina climbs the second rope and he drops his tractor sized rump first across the chest of Roma! HIGH TIDE! 1...2...3!! {The Great Kokina and his partners head through the interview area, and while they walk across we see Jake "The Snake" Roberts make his way to Ed Whalen. He tells Ed that last week he made an example with Keith. He promises something big is on the horizon. We get some very intense words being spoken. Jake is speaking of hell, and a great evil that is all across Canada. He says one man can save this company, and you are looking at it.} *Commercial* The High Flyers vs Afa and Sika {This match is the vets vs the rookies. We see Afa and Sika dominant most of this match. We see The Flyers trying to change the pace but for the most part they stay grounded most of the match. Owen counters a body slam and quickly climbs the top rope, but when he goes to leap off the top Afa sidesteps and Owen lands on the mat hard! Owen is quickly grabbed by Afa and POWERSLAM! Sika quickly clotheslines a charging Shane Douglas and turns him inside out! The Wild Samoans have made their mark on Stampede, but The High Flyers showed great heart but in the end just wasn't mean to be. 1...2..3! The Wild Samoans take the victory. {We go to where The Tag Team Champions are standing by. Davey Boy and Dynamite begin going over about how all the other teams are great competitors, but they quickly say that even though those guys are good teams, there is only one team that is ontop of the food chain and that is The Bulldogs. They even go out as far as saying that they want a shot The Guerreros and that them not being in the 200,000 tourney was a shame. They wanted to compete against the best, but never got the chance. They promise from here on out. They are going to show the world complete dominance.} *Commercial* William Regal Shoot Fighting Open Challenge {The shoot fighting open challenge begins. WIlliam Regal makes the challenge. An average sized man comes into the ring, and we see Regal starts off toying with the young man. He says that he is the man going to put Canada on the map and he is going to hold onto this title and nobody is going to stop him. Suddenly up to the scene comes Keith Hart. Bret welcomes his brother, and we see Keith look at Bret, and he says he wants a title shot. Bret asks Keith why he wants a title shot, and Keith responds that he has to prove to himself that he can compete at a high level. He asks for the shot next, but Bret says that since he is booked to defend the title in 2 weeks he can't put the belt on the line. Keith seems kinda upset and says it was a dumb idea and walks away. Bret is confused by this and so is Ed Whalen. Keith Hart has something going on in his head, and nobody knows what to think. As we head to commercial.} *Commercial* {We come straight back from commercial and we get an interview with Scott Hall. He says that he plans on being a big player in this sport, and he wants a shot at the big time. He then proceeds to pull himself from the 8 Man Tag Match and he instead sends a challenge to Jim Neidhart for a 1 on 1 match. He says that he doesn't want to share his spotlight and instead wants all the spotlight to be on himself. He tells Jim that he expects the answer next week.} Scott Hall vs Scott McGhee {A fast match we see Scott Hall shows off a tremendous amount of wrestling ability. rainmakerrtv
Great show but Tom Zenk is under contract to the AWA. Did you mean to say Paul Roma?
Perfectly Straightedge
Yes I most definitely did. I honestly have no idea why I wrote Zenk. I must have seen his name in the database and for some reason wrote it. I will change that right now. Sorry about that.
LowBlowPodcast
Very successful first month man. Some consistency and star power along with builds and you've got a solid territory here. You are keeping it simple while making it count which is the best way to go.
