Definitely a really good match but disappointing especially compared to something like Atlantis vs. V3. It seemed to lack the immense drama and emotion of that match. The finish was also terrible. *** 3/4

The finish is sudden but it's great and makes perfect sense because the match is all about the escalation of the Atlantida. Atlantis tries to apply it the first time and UG breaks away. Then the fall into the ropes while he's SO close to having it set. They make it into an absolute nuclear bomb.

That's true but I was referring to Atlantis popping up two seconds after taking Guerrero's finisher to apply it out of nowhere. Apart from the ridiculous no-sell, it felt rushed and anticlimatic. Rest of the match is borderline great though.

This is a good example of a match that gets elevated by the outstanding drama & super crowd heat. I thought that Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero were having a pretty solid match all the way though, but what puts it over the top as a borderline great match is the well done drama & the absolutely amazing atmosphere that the 2 created. ***3/4
