garretta Posted November 6, 2016 Report Share Posted November 6, 2016 A decent opener for me (I started witth Disc 10 because I always watch the extras on these sets first to get a feel for the territory), but nothing all that special. I liked what I saw of Santana on the PR set, and he didn't disappoint here either. I was a bit disappointed in Colt, though he was probably a JTTS by now. Based on what little I've heard, I espected a Kevin Sullivan-like maniac, which he was far from here. Coss did a good job putting over what he used to be, though. I'm not sure I'm going to find much worthwhile in the commentary one way or the other. Both Coss and Bonnemma sound way too laid back for my tastes. I'm used to higher energy announcers, which doesn't necessarily mean screaming, but does mean more urgency and excitement on the calls.
