Okay here we go with the 1985 Fresh Face Draft

 

As a reminder, none of the "New" or "Rookie" wrestlers can be used until January 1st.

 

Andre, Funk, and the Women can still be utilized as freelance talent up until January 1st and then they go to their respective owners

 

If the women do not get drafted, they will all be part of the freelancers but also be able to be picked up as free agents as long as we can keep track of who is where.

 

I think this order is the last known, so we will work from here.

Bit of a surprise for some people, not going for the obvious pick, but with the 2nd and 3rd picks of the draft, the AWA welcomes Lex Luger and Rick Steiner.

Wow I didn't see Rick Steiner coming at all. Huge swerve there Rain! Luger I figured was a lock.

I didn't feel that Funk, amazing though he is, was a long term fit for what I was doing with the AWA. I was specifically looking for two big strong guys I could feasibly escalate quickly from a rookie status, and with his collegiate wrestling background, I figured Steiner for the best match. Funk is an awesome fit for Mid Atlantic.

Really like the Rick Steiner pick. Can be a great tag wrestler or a solid single.

We have sweetened her deal with plenty of fur coats.
