iamthedoctor
Are there any good shows WWF produced from the 1970s - mid 80s? Im trying to find something that my mum would enjoy and shes only really seen stuff like the PPVs so looking for some help to see what people would rate as good house shows. As we didnt get Sky till 1989 that was the first time we saw the weekly WWF TV so again if there are any good televised shows that might be worth something too. Al
Saturday Nights Main Event was aimed at a crossover audience and contains more melodrama that casual audiences tend to enjoy. If she's a more hardcore fan of pure wrestling, the MSG cards are probably the best option. 1980's Showdown at Shea is available and has some decent matches like Fujinami/Guerrero. Not going to find a much better 1-2 punch than that with old MSG shows.

joeg
To answer your question- probably. Steamboat vs Savage for the IC title happened probably every night for a year and a half. Here's what a cagematch search came up with- http://www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=41058 .
stro
The Network has at least one Steamboat/Savage match in the Old School section that is definitely better than the WM 3 match.
