Bix Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/more...uble0312/1.html Kurt Angle, a 1996 Olympic gold-medal-winning freestyle wrestler and now a star professional wrestler, received two prescriptions for trenbolone and one for nandrolone between October 2004 and February '05. (Angle did not return messages left with his spokesman.) This will be interesting.
Bix Posted March 8, 2007 Author Report Posted March 8, 2007 --Kurt Angle released a statement regarding the Sports Illustrated article stating: "I did not improperly receive prescriptions. It is well documented that in my career I have broken vertebrae in my neck on five occasions and each time the course of treatment was under the care and supervision of my Doctors. Any attempt to link me to the athletes in the current news accounts who may have improperly sought performance-enhancing drugs is without foundation."
jdw Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Angle has learned the first rule of Roid Club: 1. Deny, Deny, Deny John
kjh Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Erm, why would you need anabolic steroids to treat a broken neck? <_>
