Bix Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/h...t.asp?aID=19033 --IWC has the biggest show in its history tonight in Franklin, PA at the Franklin Area High School due to the appearance of Bruno Sammartino. Sammartino will manage Domenic DeNucci against Larry Zbyszko, managed by Lord Zoltan. Tito Santana vs. Greg Valentine and Jim Neidhart vs. Sal Sincere are also on the show, along with a guest appearance of Ivan Putski and local indie favorites from the past Frank Stalleto and Lou Marconi. As of yesterday, more than 1,200 tickets were sold for the event.1,200 advance is pretty insane for a 2007 indy. Impressive.
Loss Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Impressive indeed. Bruno is obviously the big draw of all the names listed, although they did a nice job capturing the late 70s and early 80s WWF with the card they put together.
sek69 Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Bruno can still kick your ass in 2007 as well. Not bad for someone just past 71.
Loss Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 I'd say he looks no older than Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan.
sek69 Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Ironically, it appears that Bruno stopped aging around the time he left the WWF.
