FRED BLASSIE vs THE HANGMAN (06/10/1970; NWA Hollywood; Wrestling at the Olympic Auditorium; 00:01:28) THE MONGOLS vs TONY MARINO & VICTOR RIVERA (06/15/1970; WWWF MSG; New York, NY; 00:28:13) This took a while to get going but turned into a fun match. BATMAN vs CESAR LEONI (06/27/1970; French Catch; 00:18:38) LE HIPPY DU RING vs GILBERT BERNAERT (06/29/1970; French Catch; 00:14:22) Segunda Caida reviews of the above matches. GREAT KUSATSU vs EDOUARD CARPENTIER (07/09/1970; IWE Big Summer Series; 00:02:37) RENE BEN CHEMOUL & WALTER BORDES vs BLACK SHADOW & EL ARZ (07/25/1970; French Catch; 00:30:20) Segunda Caida review of the match. BRUNO SAMMARTINO vs GEORGE STEELE-CAGE (07/25/1970; WWWF MSG; New York, NY; 00:21:30) Incredible heat for this, and consider that Bruno was over 7 years into his championship run at this time! DORY FUNK JR. vs ANTONIO INOKI (08/02/1970; JWA NWA World Champion Series; 01:04:37) More really good work, but not as great or high-end as you might hope for from these two. Still a 3 1/2* match.
