kevinmcfl
Here is an early list of rookies for 1989. I admit that we are getting out of my comfort zone by 1989 and I need some help. Some of these wrestlers might be already in our game but under different names. Wrestlers who debuted in the United States or Canada in 189 are available for the draft. If you know of anyone who should be in, let us know. 89 Rookies List Ahmed Johnson Al Green Amy Lee Big Titan Rick Bogner Bill Francis Billy Gunn Bobby Walker Booker T Brett Como Brickhouse Baker Bryan Clarke CW Bergstrom Charles Wright Chief Lightfoot Chris Walker Dan Cooley David Young Denise Storm Don Allen Dr. Luthor Dwayne Bruce El Gigante Frankie DeFalco Hardcore Harry Henry Goodwin JW Storm Jacqueline Jason Helton Jim McPhearson Jim Mitchell (Manager) Jimmy Jannety Joe Gunns John Kronus Jumbo Baretta Kensuke Sasaki King Cobra Kurrgan Lady Amazon Lou Fabiana Mad Man Pondo Mark Guleen (To retire after 1989) Mark Von Erich Mavrick Wild Mike Awesome Mike Golden Mike Lozanski Mike Samson Nitron Paul Lee Peaches Perry Saturn Richard Sartain (To retire after 1989) Ritchie Acevedo Sandman Scott Braddock Scott Norton Shane Sewell Shinji Sasazaki Steve Austin Steve Lawler Stevie Ray Tatanka Terry Simms Tim Hunt (To retire after 1989) Tim Parker Tom Barrett Tommy Dreamer Tommy Jammer Trisa Hayes Val Pucchio

rainmakerrtv
Sandman debuted in 1989 (along with his valet Peaches who is already on the list), as did Dr. Luther. What was the final ruling on John Kronus? He was up for discussion last year, but his matches were very regional and I seem to recall we were going to put him off until this year. kevinmcfl
With 1989 draft picks being traded, I thought I would get the draft order set. I used a number generator to pick the order. This draft is a snake draft. If anyone new joins between now and the draft, they will be added to the end of round 2. The draft will begin the week of Thanksgiving. The order is: 1. Music City: (Traded to WCW) 2. AWA: (Traded to WWF) (Traded to WCW) 3. WCW: (Traded to IPW) 4. WWF 5. Memphis: (Traded to WCW) 6. Pacific 7. NWA (Traded to WWF) This makes the order in round #2 1. NWA (Traded to WWF) (Traded to PCW) 2. Pacific 3. Memphis: (Traded to WWF) (Traded to WCW) (Traded to PCW) 4. WWF (traded to WCW) 5. WCW 6. AWA 7. Music City ROUND 3 1. Music City 2. AWA: 3. WCW 4. WWF 5. Memphis 6. Pacific 7. NWA ROUND 4 1. NWA 2. Pacific 3. Memphis 4. WWF 5. WCW 6. AWA 7. Music City

rainmakerrtv
Not sure of what the ruling on this would be, but was looking into the career of manager Christopher Love/Bert Prentice. I saw him at ringside for Tully Blanchard in a 1990 AWA match and tried to dig into when he would have started. Given that he was a manager in smaller territories, it was hard to find where his debut was, with most of what I could find focusing on his work in Memphis in the early 90s, but this article on his passing says he started in 83 in Joe Blanchard's southwest territory ( https://www.postwrestling.com/2021/08/04/longtime-promoter-and-former-manager-bert-prentice-passes-away/ ) . Would he be available for this draft?
