sek69
Also I'm starting to dig the Kris Stat/Big Stoke heel pairing.
Jmare007
Danielson being obsessed with tricking people and working them into a shoot actually works in favor of this feud with Swerve. It's hard picturing him losing and making the Wembley crowd go home sad but if there's one guy that would love nothing more than go out with a major L, making people depressed and (pissed off) for making them believe his neck got turned into dust before getting pinned in the main event, it's him . I can actually picture him negotiating with Tony that the only way for him to accept the the title match was a fucked up ending like that, lol. Still, wrestling 101 still tells me he wins and then drops it to either Darby at Grand Slam or Swerve at WrestleDream in the Tacoma Dome. Hell, they might even run a triple threat for the belt that night with all Washington guys and that's his "final" sendoff. I really like I can buy any scenario happening. strobogo
Dbryne's seizure and paralyzed selling, which he's been doing since 2015, is easily the thing I dislike most about his work. 1. It is in poor taste 2. It also isn't believable because he's done it so often over the past 9 years, and it seems like he's leaned on that quite a bit more in AEW than he did in his second WWE run. sek69
The only thing I don't like about it is they added title vs career after Bryan had been going around for months saying this was his last year as a full time wrestler. To me it kind of lessens the impact of the stip when in essence he's fighting for the right to be a part timer. A better way would have been after he got some losses like he did, state the next time he loses a big match his career is over like how Ric Flair did leading up to the HBK mania match. That way there's still some intrigue where you'd be like "well it probably is time for him to retire but would he want to make a whole stadium full of people unhappy? " Really loving the Mariah/Toni stuff, with Mariah looking very respectful as a heel and Toni losing what little grip she had on sanity. I assume with her classic movie deal they are going to go full Whatever Happened to Baby Jane with her. Hangman might have the most interesting character arc going right now, since it was pretty fucked up that the fans cheered for Swerve when he was breaking into his house and terrorizing his baby. It would make every defense an absolute must see match, and when he finally does go down, it puts someone over huge.
strobogo
Dynamite has fuckin rocked for months now. Really interesting because there was a long stretch where Collision was the way better show but now feels like an afterthought
