Really competitive and crisp limb work here, this felt like an old school Joint Promotions bout with a lot of focus on competitive matwork and no time for any shenanigans. Brookside looked like a veteran in his early 20s, while Dean was only a teenager and already very capable when offending, apart from selling in a convincing way as Brookside target his upper body. Good finish to boot, it was a really enjoyable 15 minutes. It's a shame UK wrestling got off the TV radar in 1988, as they still had a few talented wrestlers.
