Remembering how cool the Waylon Mercy gimmick was makes me wish someone would do a Reverend Harry Powell gimmick, as it seems like the natural replacement.

 

Other than that, I got nothing.

Some people (read: Scott Keith) have pimped a Spivey/Luger match for the WCW U.S. Title from, I believe a Clash of Champions in '91. I've never seen it, but that's about the only thing that comes to mind, other than the Waylon Mercy stuff . . . y'know what I mean?

I wanna say that JDW or some other tOA guy pimped a Spivey/Tenryu match from '89, but I can't prove it. And of course, there were all those great Hansen/Spivey tags, but they're not exactly matches you remember because of Spivey.
