Al
Were the Master Blasters ripping off some movie? I want to say Mad Max, but I am not sure.
goodhelmet
Fortunately, I have never had the displeasure of seeing either of the two matches you just described.
Coffey
Were the Master Blasters ripping off some movie? I want to say Mad Max, but I am not sure.I believe that they were an attempt to rip-off the Road Warriors; Hawk & Animal, as HTQ pointed out. Mel Gibson was in the movie the Road Warrior. Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was a "sequel" with a character named Master Blaster. I guess they wanted the fans to notice that and think they were the new Road Warriors. I also take offense to HTQ pointing out that Bryan Clarke was Adam Bomb & one half of Kronik without mentioning Wrath.

Coffey
The "Meltdown" was the only thing that Clarke ever did that seemed to get over. I guess Kronik kindof got cheers but I think that was from the loser stoners whom made the connection. Shit, Billy Gunn, Test, etc. even tried to rip-off the Meltdown on WWF shows!
