  5. Michaels without a doubt.
  6. Roberts. He just had that awesome presence inside that ring.
  7. Extreamly close. I'm going with Davey Boy Smith.
  8. Please explain. Because The Rockers were great. In my opinion they were the WWF's best tag team. But mostly because no one else voted for him. ;-) The Rockers stuff makes this pretty close for me but I still have to go with Mysterio. Good to see some Janetty love though.
  9. They're pretty sore as I'm not used to those super high repitions but not really close to some ot the other times I've done some intense leg training in my youth. I don't train my legs as hard as I used to because it wasn't as effecient in trying to gain mass/strength. Plus the gym I go to sucks now. The Hindu squats would be nothing though compared to the intense (there's a big difference between intense and just working out) 15 to 18 sets of leg work with 30 second rest intervals. If someone wants to try something for fun that'll totally annihilate them try this. Take a weight you can squat 10 reps to failure with. Now you're going to take theat weight and try to do as close to 20 reps as you can. How might you ask? Breahting squats. The difference is you pause at the top and take 3 to 5 or even more BIG breaths of air before descending into the squat. This will allow you to do more reps than you can normally do. After that, immediatly strip down the weight and keep on going. This will be an experience you'll never, ever forget for your whole life. Of course, I don't reccomend someone doing this right out of the blue or if you want to stay sane. Learn proper technique, have a couple of spotters and have some training experience. This is just something you can do if you have the Mick Foley syndrome of want ing to destroy your body.
  10. Thanks again. Must be an echo in here or something. Myself, I would go with the weights if given a choice between the two because you can improve your muscle and cardio with the weights but the cardio alone really doesn't add any muscle.
  11. I didn't see it. WP, you can do with it as you please. If you want I'll type up the first few paragraphs of the article that I skipped. That's because I edited my post. Sure. What are the first few paragraphs about? I feel bad about making you type that whole thing out already. I owe you man. Don't feel obligated or anything though.
  12. 15 to 18 sets for legs with 30 second rest intervals? The man is insane. Leg training is what seperates the wannabes from the maineventers. I got a laugh out of the last quote. Some Guy, do you mind if I post that article around a little bit?
  13. Thanks again.
  14. Thanks. That is a wickedly intense routine. Not the type of routine that will build muscle for me but man you'd need to be in super shape to do that stuff. That takes a tremendous amount of willpower. Keep typing if you want. I appreciate it. No rush though. BTW, I just did Hindu squats to failure. I'm feeling a little votimish and am having a little trouble typing right now
  15. Do you guys know stuff about Benoit's training? I train myself and all this stuff interests me. Please share any knowledge. I once heard that Benoit trains for two hours. 1 hour of weights and 1 hour of cardio. With the weights he uses 60 sec intervals between sets. Of course, routines can always change.
  16. This is the real news from this observer Check this out from deathvalleydriver --Shawn "Khosrow" Daivari posted on his web site that when he was in Europe, he wanted to train with Chris Benoit and Rob Conway and they warm-up by doing 500 Hindu squats. He said the average person can do 20 before cramping. I'd guess the average person could do closer to 100 on their first try, but they'll be hating life at around 60. Anyway, he got up to 325 to 400 and couldn't walk the next day. Well, you are supposed to build up slowly. He said he couldn't bend his legs on the Raw show, but with the adrenaline, he still worked the tag match. He said he pissed red, puked five times and pissed a Dr. Pepper color. He found out he had broken down muscle fibers in his legs to the point they got into his kidney and was pissing it out. Moral: Do not try and compete with Chris Benoit
  17. Right. Just try to envision as best as possable the circumstances the years and years of buildup. Try to put yourselves in the fans' shoes. Try to let your emotins flow. That may be an obvious statement but it's so true. It's something that has helped me enjoy movies, stories and wrestling matches a lot more. I watched a lot of this era growing up so it's easier for me to get me involved. I can easily understand the crying from the fans.
  18. It wasn't one girl crying. There were a lot of people crying. I'm extreamly proud as a wrestling of the Savage Liz reunion. I don't understand why you would be embarassed for the fans. In fact, it may be the most emotional thing wrestling has ever done. All the stakes were high and the angle was done over a long period of time. Savage and Liz had been together for years. The breakup took a long time and was a major angle. The evil Sherri was with Savage for a long time. Macho Man who was one of the biggest names was wrestling a career vs career match. His whole career is on the line. Everything was big here. In a fantastic idea which puts so much importance on everything the cameras than show Elizabeth with concern watching from the stands. Savage fights the match of his life becoming the 2nd person ever I believe to kick out of Warrior's press slam (and the first as a heel) still fighting along even after all his big offence couldn't put the Warrior away. His fighting spirit is high but finally he succumbs against the indestructable Warrior. His career is now over. One of the top 5 biggest WWF names has just gone down. That is big time stuff and when Sherri starts kicking Savage it makes the fans feel the ultimate in pity for Savage. When Elizabeth who hadn't been around for awhile (and we all know the history between the two) comes down and saves/reunites with Savage all these very strong feelings the fans are feeling climax in one terrific moment. We went from the fans not liking Savage at the start to admiring his fighting spirit to feeling sad for him to feeling ultimate pity for him to the opposite end of the pendulum by feeling the ultimate in happiness and notgolia while still feeling sad. All done with extreamly high emotions. This was the best soap opera angle I've ever seen. I was feeling teary eyed and had mega goosebumps watching this just a couple of months ago. I had gone through all this stuff watching as a fan and it all just meant so much to me. Sorry for going off topic slightly but I just wanted to defend this angle. This is the kind of crowd reaction wrestling needs these days. This is what sticks with you throughout the years. I'm pretty sure Heyman said he wanted to build ECW around Benoit. THe thing was Benoit was doing New Japan at the same time so I can see why they didn't put the title on him right away. In fact, I thought ECW did a great job with Benoit considering the circumstances. He was being protected, had a great gimmick and was even on TV when he wasn't wrestling. Benoit just wasn't there long enough.
