  1. ^^^ Yeah, but that would get tired after about 3 defences following the same pattern.
  2. Can you really see Undertaker jobbing to Rey? I certainly can't, if he did it certainly wouldn't be clean. If he used the submission move you described, it would be silly that Show wouldn't just power out of it, or drop rey on his head. I love most of Rey's work as much as the next guy, but I just don't see him as a believable Champion. The Eddie/Show match was nowhere near **** when I first saw it. *** tops. I would be immensly shocked if Rey v Show was anywhere near ****. And Butterbean is a fat bastard, unlike Taker. Big Show is a much bigger fat bastard than Butterbean.
  3. I don't think a Rey Mysterio Ttle reign would work. What happens if he comes up against someone like Big Show? There is no believable way for Rey to get the win. I can't see Undertaker wanting to sell for any of Rey's offence. People aren't going to buy Rey as a believable opponent to people like Triple-H. I would like to see Orton as Champion. He makes a great heel, the only reason his first Title run failed was because he was face, and he was plainly dreadful at that role. I would certainly like to see Benoit/Orton at Wrestlemania with Benoit taking the belt. In the meantime Orton can defend against Undertaker (Armageddon), Rey Mysterio (Royal Rumble) and Batista (No Way Out - The injury is quoted 4-6 Weeks). That looks like a good title reign to me.
  4. I don't bother watching WWE anymore. If there is a good match I want to see I'll just borrow it off my mate, who watches religiously, and put it on DVD. I actually enjoyed the Raw Homecoming show, although I only saw the Pipers Pit, the Austin Scene, the Ladder Match and Angle/HBK. 3 of those made it to my WWE TV DVD. If they were around WWE wouldn't be churning out this shit. The whole reason the product sucks is lack of competition.
  5. Given I haven't seen a whole lot of Puro-Lucha-Memphis e.t.c then hardly anyone will agree with my choices. The only fields I have really seen a lot in is Mainstream/Indy US and I've seen a fair bit of British..... What is your favorite singles match? Steve Austin v Triple-H at No Way Out 2001. I've explained why this is good many times, usually to no avail, so I won't bother again. What is your favorite tag team (2 teams of 2) match? Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi vs. Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue 09/06/95. One of few Puro matches I have seen. I should really check out more, but my money is taken up with other stuff right now, and ROH is the current priority in terms of wrestling stuff. What is your favorite multi-person (2 teams of 3 or more on each side) match? Wargames 92. So much drama, intensity, blood, the whole package. What is your favorite type of wrestling? I like solid, technical wrestling, with plenty of move variety. Strongstyle is up there as well. What is your favorite angle of all time? Steve Austin + HHH> What can I say, I was still an innocent mark when watching this stuff, but to the feuds credit the promos still hold up today, especially on the HHH side, and I actually enjoyed the booking, although i am in the minority. Who is a wrestler you found to like because of the internet? William Regal. I had previously dismissed him as being boring, despite loving his mic work. WCW or WWF 1996-1998? WWF. Having said that, I didn't watch WCW back then and have had to pick up old tapes, which I suppose don't capture the same excitement now as they did back then. The wrestling in WCW was better, but I preferreed the angles in the WWF for the most part, excluding Undertaker. Do you like Lucha Libre? Why? I haven't seen much, but what I have seen I haven't enjoyed much, and has just seemed a bit spotty. If you could book a "Super Show" card with 3 matches with a guarantee to draw a huge crowd and maintain monster heat the whole night, what would it be? The Rock v Steve Austin (Wrestlemania X7) TLCII (Wrestlemania X7) Chris Benoit v Kurt Angle (Royal Rumble 03) None of these would make even my Top 10 Matches ever, but I do feel they would conspire to make an excellent and varied, heat filled show, which would draw a big number.
  6. Yes, but they have no new ones, just ones from like February. Plus, they are overpriced, 4.99 for postage.
  7. Yes, but at a pricely sum, which I am unwilling to pay. I may have to make concessions for Joe/Kobashi mind...
  8. Joe v Punk II + III blow away the first one, which I didn't like a great deal. II is the best of the series, and quite easily the 2004 MOTY, but III is great as well. Speaking of ROH, I've just picked up Third Anniversary I-II-III so lets hope they live up to the expectations. Especially looking forward to the Aries/Cabana Cage match which I hear is excellent. By the way, any English fans know where I can get some more recent ROH DVD's? The only ones I can get hold of are ones from
  9. Triple-H v Steve Austin - No Way Out 2001 Kurt Angle v Steve Austin - Summerslam 2001 Shawn Michaels v Kurt Angle - Wrestlemania XXI Samoa Joe v CM Punk - 10/16/04 Chris Benoit v Triple-H - No Mercy 2000 + many of the matches already nominated.
  10. In the matches I've seen, him and his opponents have basically exchanged holds for the entirety of the bout. There may be a 2-3 Minutge period towards the finish when they do something else. Just not my sort of thing.
  11. Breaks is an amazing heel. His mannerisms and berating of the crowd is fantastic. Unfortunately, I find his matches fairly tedious.
