  1. Loser Leave Town Podcast with Corny would be great. I'm a huge Corny fan. I also wish we could get a real interview with him instead of people constantly wanting to discuss the thorns in his side as opposed to him telling great stories in a most entertaining way. As for the article, he was so busy telling me how he wasn't a mark for Corny calling him, that he sounded like a huge mark. What's the Larry Sweeney story? What happened to Sweeney? I kind of fell out of current wrestling after the Benoit debacle and haven't heard anything about Sweeney since coming back to reading about wrestling.
  2. Yup. Apparently HHH was pissed about getting lowballed on a payoff years earlier and Vince told him that it was Ross's doing. That is really a ridiculous story. It's hard to believe that stuff like that could go down, still to this day. Vince must really be the biggest a**hole on the planet. It's truly shocking that one of the "boys" that he's screwed over in one way or another in the last 25 years hasn't taken him out. While watching WM26, there still was a little part of me that thought Bret was going to do something to truly even up the score for some of the horrible things that Vince has done to him and his family. As for Ross, I just can't understand why he would want to come back, then or now. Must be the sickness, as Piper would say.
  3. HHH is certainly a product of that WWE Machine. Casual fans dig him and honestly if you can step outside of the wrestling fandom mode, the way he's shoveled out to the public, it's hard to not care about him. Unfortunately, when you watch WWE on a regular basis, you tire of his bloated physique and overpushed character. He's one of the main reasons that I quit watching Raw on a regular basis a few years back.
  4. In my 37 years of existence, I have never felt the lows that someone like Kanyon must have been going through on a regular basis. Not exactly sure how I would react, if a friend of mine had the same conversation with me. Very sad story.
  5. When you think of guys who never had *it* either but were good upper mid-card workers, Shane Douglas and Jeff Jarrett were a lot better than Triple H ever was on every level (even though Jarrett is not a very good promo either). Those two are great comparisons when it comes to guys not having an "it" factor. Though, I disagree with the comment of them being better than HHH, these 3 were certainly lucky to be the top guy in "their" promotion. I was drinking the ECW kool aid at the time of Shane's push, thinking he was the next great thing in wrestling. Jarrett has never impressed me aside from his IYH match with Shawn. As for promos, all 3 of them are transparent in the sense that you can see through the acting in every instance.
  6. I agree whole heartedly. The only time I took think I could've taken Christian seriously as a possible main eventer was when he was teamed with Edge. I think his TNA run proved to me that he's a mid card/semi main event guy that people like but whether heel or face will never get behind. As for Matt Hardy, he's got that "it" that makes fans love him no matter what the promotion does to him, but again without his brother as his partner and even that is not enough by itself, they would need the proper push/angle to get them over as a consistnent main event team.
  7. The "carryjob" to me has a different meaning. To me, it's basically stating that a match was good and with the participants involved, it really shouldn't have been. I thought Bret was the absolute best at doing that with some variety. Flair, and I loved Flair, would do it with redundancy, but my love for the "Flair Match" made me overlook the fact for years that it was the exact same match. Shawn, on the other hand, would make decent matches Great. All wonderful carriers in their own way, but very different in my eyes.
