    I don't think there's necessarily gonna be any kind of big change, but it's pretty newsworthy.

    Because the police working on the case were fucking idiots who were in over their heads and/or decided not to do much work because it was obvious who the killer was and he was dead. That they sent the neighbor in the corral the dogs and scarred her for life because she found the bodies suggests the former being true at the very least. Irv's book covers all this in greater detail, but I did make a list of some of the issues in the post at Cageside on Wednesday: And now we have what looks like a medical examiner lying to Dave Meltzer about the enlarged organs due to WWE pressure.

    Just to add to this, on the July 25th Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer does say that when Dr. Kris Sperry was examining Benoit's body, that while their was no enlarged organs or heart problems, he did notice "signs of 'heavy duty' steroid use". Well, it looks like Benoit's heart was actually enlarged. Plus there was a suicide note. There are some other new items but those are the two big newsworthy ones. WTF.

    Per the new WOR, Dave doesn't watch Smackdown. I had figured he just didn't have time to watch it live and write it up.

    Only wish that he called into CageSideRadio. Eric and Bix could have their rematch 10 years in the making. I can't say I'm not tempted to either ask him to do a podcast or troll him into calling me angrily.

    I don't think I ever saw the full match, but I always thought it was weird that they couldn't use a better camera angle of the finish, especially since Liger never used that move before (or since).

    Awesome story from the 1/8/01 WON in the feature about Mark Madden getting fired by WCW: Lex Luger had been claiming he had 4% bodyfat for months. One week, he slipped and said 5%, so Madden mentioned that Luger gained 1% bodyfat. When Luger found out, he freaked out, so he decided to make fun of "Madden's less than flattering physique" the following week.

    I know people who use TalkShoe which is basically the same thing w/o the scheduling problems that BTR can have. And is now less limited for free shows, though it's a bit confusing at first. With a few months notice hopefully it should be an easy transition. Is that 30 minutes live or 30 minutes total? If live than how much total?

    On some level I feel really bad for Dave Prazak. He badly wanted this to be the opposite of the "Headscissors! BOOBS!" DVDs that were being released by others, but those folks are his main audience.

    The criticism, generally speaking, was that Angle's formula was incompatible with Henry since he couldn't suplex him or do lots of ankle lock reversals with him, so he had nothing to fall back on. I'd have to watch it again to get a better idea. Wasn't their other, later PPV match (where Angle left his wheelhouse and nearly killed himself attempting a rolling senton) relatively well received? Not great but perfectly fine. Henry had very good to great matches with Goldberg a few years early and Rey Mysterio (several times) and The Undertaker around the same time as the Angle match.

    You know I get more of a kick out of you than most people but I know that's not true. What? Ive only subbed two months out of this year? I was told you never left by a subscriber friend.

    That I paid Jonathan Snowden some ridiculous amount for the domain name. It's blatantly false. SBN owns everything including the domain name. When Jon left, he recommended me as his replacement and I took the gig. Ed's made up lots of other stuff about me in the past that I don't remember the specifics of. You know I get more of a kick out of you than most people but I know that's not true.
