  1. Don't get me wrong, I fully agree. But TNA is the closest thing to competition right now and it'd still be a longshot that the Rock would sign with him, given his black market wrestling value, plus he has a number of Hollywood projects going right now. Point being, is even if he's a free agent, I don't know if any other company can go after him at this point.
  2. You know, as sad as a lot of wrestlers' deaths are, specifically the ones who pass away in the 40s or earlier, it struck me reading this that Loss should be giving eulogies at every wrestler's funeral.
  3. Shawn Michaels Kid's notable run was in the mid-90s, but after that, he fell flat on his face, partly due to injuries. HBK's run is more defined, dating back to the Rockers days.
  4. The Rock Too bad. I really didn't want to vote Dibiase off this early.
  5. HHH Neither guy is *great*, but Helmsley, in my opinion, is a slightly better worker than Orndorff and also could've drawn against Hogan back in the day.
  6. Eddy Guerrero In spite of Honky's success, it's tough to compare that with Eddy's working ability, drawing ability and general appeal.
  7. Mick Foley Influenced a style, was more over, and has had better matches.
  8. Rick Martel Has had one of the longest times in the Royal Rumble, has been on a couple very good tag teams (with Zenk and Santana), and had a good singles run inspite of being stuck with a cartoonish gimmick. Tajiri, like Martel, has been a midcarder as well, but Martel's achieved higher, and has had better matches overall.
  9. Davey Boy Smith Piper's run from 1985 to 1987 saw him draw money with Hogan, but after that, he was very off and on. Smith had been with the company for the better part of 15 years of the time frame we're covering and headlined a huge stadium show. Had lots of good matches in both singles and tags too.
  10. Bret Hart Lesnar's run was too short to even come near Hart's.
  11. Good news I suppose, although the idea of Rock being a free agent and possibly signing with a competitor would have been a great thing for wrestling in the long run. The WWE has a competitor? Since when?
  12. Who said anything about hating Jannetty?
  13. Okay, now I'm pissed that I missed Smackdown last night.
  14. He was in Funaki's shadow regarding the category of evilness.
  15. Minor argument, but I disagree that Show just got good in the past year. I think his career's had a turnaround since about late 2002 when, at that time, his own character became more stable, and those matches with Brock Lesnar turned him into a smarter worker.
  16. Dynamite Kid Dynamite was still good in the ring, while Andre, still incredibly over, became embarrassingly bad in the ring.
  17. Ricky Steamboat Far better matches, far more distinguished history, better worker, better babyface, etc.
  18. Kane Both guys, to some extent, look burned out from their characters, but Kane's more over and has had more upper card success than Jeff.
  19. Goldust I think Rhodes is a better worker and has been more interesting for a longer period of time than Roberts. After Jake's initial face turn, he wasn't nearly as interesting until he turned heel again in 1991 and he had that embarrassing 1996 run too.
  20. Greg Valentine Valentine was able to make Brutus Beefcake look watchable early his WWF career. Was past his prime, but still provided fun feuds, such as the Ronnie Garvin one. Ax isn't as good a worker as Valentine, although he had success with Demolition.
  21. Tito Santana Appeared in 8 straight WrestleManias, IIRC. Funk only had short runs in the WWF. Tito wins on longevity.
  22. Booker T Has been in many underrated matches, some of which are better than Chavo's best stuff. Has been higher on the card and is more over.
  23. Arn Anderson I like Show, but his career has been hurt by constant turns and character inconsistency. Arn's a better worker, and was great in 88-89.
