  4. AJ airs 1 show per month on GAORA, and 1 show per month on Samurai TV. Niconico airs a AJ show once every couple months.

  9. Luckily my PC is close to my 65" TV. I just used an HDMI splitter from my PC, went to my TV, and it looks fantastic! I streamed from my laptop to my TV using Chromecast, and I found the quality to not be as good as the wired connection. Looking forward to watching the Dome show and all that follows! Dan
  10. Thanks for the info. I was hoping to do this off my phone or Kindle, but casting from my laptop or PC will be fine for now. Dan
  11. got the chromecast thing plugged in, and got it to recognize my phone. Still trying to get the phone to cast to the TV... Hopefully I can get this figured out before the Dome show.... Dan
  12. cool! I got the cast a tab extensions set. I will pick up a chromecast tomorrow night and see how it works. In the meantime, I tried hooking my phone to my TV with a HDMI cable, but it had an error message that would kick me back to the main page. I am using an HDMI splitter now. PC HDMI into the splitter, 2 outputs. 1 to the TV and 1 to my PC monitor. Watching Takada vs. Koshinaka from 2/5/87 on my 65" TV!! No audio (for some reason), but my PC speakers are nearby, so I am loving it. If Chromecast can do this for me wirelessly, I will be a happy man. Dan P.S. I was able to download a match from the website, but it won't allow playback due to copy protection issues. I did see that the resolution was 1280x720, and the 51 minute video was 900Meg in size, which matches up with the WWE network's 4500kbps stream.
  13. Just to clarify, if I get a Chromecast dongle, how do I add the NJPW world app? I would prefer to watch this on my TV instead of my PC. I did download the .apk file to my android phone, and it works great! Dan
  14. We're talking about a couple of random matches here, I think you're overreacting when you imply he has gaps in his knowledge because of this. Do you honestly expect him to be privy of every match that has ever made tape? With some of these, we're talking relatively obscure matches which in some cases you need to dive pretty deep into the comp/download world to find. I had mentioned that the lost July 2012 PPV is available on NJW on Twitter last night, and I got some responses that the key matches aired in clipped form on NJPW TV. I never knew that and I follow New Japan as closely as anybody. I know Alan has never seen those matches either. Some of this stuff is not easy to find, even for super nerds like us. *****WPW Returns is a NJ show that aired on one of TV Asahi's satellite channels a few years back. My recollection was that they aired 2 or 3 matches from the 7/22 show uncut, then clipped versions of the under card matches. Tracking all the ways you can see NJ footage is daunting task to say the least.****** Dan
  15. All this. 100% agree. Regal channels "Fighting Spirit" as Hash nails him with repeated snap kicks to the chest. Regal fights his way back to his feet multiple times, and the crowd goes bananas for it! Regal "gets it", and had the Japanese crowd eating out of his hand while he puts over Hashimoto. 17. Wow! A thread bump 3 years later. I got this match uncut the other day, and it is an interesting one. It does look like Kandori starts the trouble, but Jackie doesn't back away. She takes everything Kandori can dish out, but when it gets to the mat, Jackiw cannot hang with her. The bell rings, only to be met by silence, then a smattering of applause. Brutal match. 23. Looks like I misinterpreted what I have read before concerning ratings. If the magazines printed the ratings %, that is measured against the total TV universe. It is independent of share, which determines how much of the total available TV households are watching TV at any particular day or time slot. Now I just need to confirm that the puro mags list the ratings and not the share. I have a puro mag that listed the NJ Tv ratings for a 6 month period in 1982 or 1983, and they were all in the 20s I don't think any other fed since 1972 has had ratings anywhere near that.
