  1. Even before his Twitter shenanigans, Seth was always one of those guys better suited to be heel. He never seemed to click as a babyface, and it was only "Burn it Down" somehow getting over that got a reaction. Once his music stopped that was usually it.
  2. As soon as it was clear Roman wasn't going to be constantly in the title picture, fans calmed down on him. Just like how the hate for Cena largely went away when he wasn't always in the title match and being Super Cena every PPV. It's always been a rejection of the forced push rather than the guy directly. Instead of making the fans want what the company wants, they keep presenting it as "here's the guy we're making a star now, you better accept it or else". Combined with them constantly kneecapping everyone else with start-stop 50/50 nonsense, it just led to the fans not wanting to accept what they are told they should like.
  3. As much as anyone retires in wresting, especially lucha, yeah. Other than Konnan, who's on the list for obvious reasons, most of the people who get blacklisted are there because they know their value and don't accept the peanuts CMLL offers most folks.
  4. Maybe not, but you think Hunter forgot? Doubtful.
  5. They weren't on the level of his six star classics in Japan so therefore in some people's eyes it's a flop.
  6. People forget because of name/gimmick changes but Luchasaurus was one of the people who's accusations ended up sinking Bill Demott in NXT. That probably sticks in Vince's craw as much as Cody and Jericho being big stars.
  7. So it turns out in addition to the known names like Santo, Konnan, Blue Demon, there are other names on the CMLL blacklist such as Pirata Morgan, Lady Apache, and El Dandy. So the answer to the age old question is CMLL. It's CMLL who doubts El Dandy.
  8. Vince was said to be pissed that Seth did what he did since he hates when guys promote a match that won't happen. If Punk is coming back to wrestle, why waste his return on a low rated FS1 show and not a big show like Survivor Series that just happens to be taking place in Chicago? The "It's all a work, brothers" types are very seldom correct anyway, and if this is a work its less Kaufman/Lawler and more "Eric works the boys in WCW".
  9. Drew must have been inspired to up his chop game after being in the ring with WALTER, Randy didn't seem too happy taking those shotgun chops from him.
  10. Also shoutout to the guy in the crowd with the prominent AEW shirt that somehow managed to last the whole show without getting mugged by the WWE clothing gestapo.
  11. Cracks me up how WWE gets handed real life angles all the time and usually ignores them, but Seth becomes a complete whiny bitch on Twitter and they make it his character I mean, it's a way better fit for him than being the hero babyface, but of all times for them to go with what life hands you....
  12. Rusev's tweet is a rap reference, which I wasn't expecting but laughed heartily at.
  13. Something else that should be mentioned is that Mauro was having a bad week because he was set to do a main roster show again which was triggering his issues (see, that's why people don't like shitheads co opting that term) so this was an especially bad time for Corey to decide to shit on him publicly.
  14. I'm sure it's not helping, but my money's more on his alcohol issues.
  15. WWE doesn't want Mauro to go anywhere because they consider it a prestige thing to have the guy who does all the boxing and MMA shows calling their product. I'm not sure why they keep putting up with Corey's nonsense, he has none of the Real Sports Cred WWE gets a boner for and he's been a detriment to everyone he's been partnered with. It's no mistake he's with Cole now since he can't pull the shit with him that he did with Renee (notice how she ran at full speed to get away from commentary to do the FS1 show).
  16. Considering Renee's stories of having to basically be Corey's handler when he gets too drunk to call an Uber, we have to consider the possibility he's a functioning alcoholic who's starting to become less "functional". Also lol at the wanna be punk guy using Trump-ass Trump tactics arguing with someone who made him angry on Twitter.
  17. I get the impression it was like when Lars had his anxiety attack before he was set to debut on Raw. They had all those big plans with him at Cena supposedly at Mania, and it ended up being too much for him to handle mentally. I think it was the same with Kylie. Clearly they were going to build the women's division with her being the star and it's not the most outlandish thing in the world to suggest it overwhelmed her too.
  18. Bayley looks like she wants to speak to the manager.
  19. I love how it's apparently WWE canon that the only way to stop Brock is to hit him in the balls.
  20. Also can't help but notice Uncle Paul making sure his kids didn't get the treatment Smackdown got last year.
  21. Jesus, Keith Lee does stuff a 300+ pounder should not be able to do.
  22. Man, the Fiend mask is fucking aces. Just think that needs mentioned once in a while.
  23. I have to imagine it must fuck with your perception having to do a dive to the outside in that red light.
  24. I mean, we all knew Cole wasn't losing the title here no matter how it ended up happening.
