  1. its so lame every time they do a draft, they have to do the "womens champs switch brands" deal.
  2. Gunther showing off the moves after marrying former NXT UK wrestler Jinny.
  3. Zoey Stark, Apollo Crews, and JD "Don't Google my real name" McDonaugh were drafted to Raw and Von Wagner is a free agent. Will anyone be left in NXT by the end of Raw? Let's find out!!
  4. I would wager most people's opinions of Drake have zero to do with him doing deathmatches.
  5. It will be interesting to see who'll get pushed in the women's division now in NXT, since Sol Ruca just joined the list of folks without a set of functioning ACLs
  6. Not going to act like he was the best, but early Kane was really good at emoting with a mask while having a non speaking gimmick. Being able to ramp up the emotion in a promo without it sounding too Pro Wrestler Promo Voice-y is kind of a lost art these days. Mick Foley was the best at it I can remember seeing, and the only one who seems to do it on a consistent basis now is KO. Which considering the structure WWE has in place for promos is even more impressive.
  7. Huh, looks like from the reaction the NXT picks it was the first time they heard about it.
  8. It's kind of amazing Michael Hayes still has a job considering he got drunk and made a scene at Hunter's wedding.
  9. LA Knight getting over makes me happy
  10. Alright, time to watch Smackdown after work Glad they kept teams together, the whole "team got split up for no reason and both guys flounder" thing was super lame.
  11. Somewhere the Creeds shed a tear
  12. If Mercedes is interested in napalming that bridge, she should give that writer's lawyer a call. I would bet money she has some info they'd liked to hear.
  13. His DDT is great, but to me Arn's best move was the spinebuster. The snap he got on it was sick as fuck.
  14. Okada's dropkick is so smooth it became a big spot in his matches. He's a pretty tall guy too which makes it even more impressive. I've mentioned it before, but Miz is the greatest Sports Entertainer I've ever seen. He does all the things WWE wants their folks to do better than anyone else. Arena Mexico, and no other place comes close imo. History, legendary matches, great atmosphere. It's called the cathedral of lucha for a reason. Plus it's been doing it every week since 1933. MSG could have been a strong contender but other than that NJPW/ROH show there hasn't been any show of note there in like 20 years.
  15. So I guess Roxanne and Tiffany are getting the callup, Indi winning over them makes no sense other than that.
  16. That explains why there was one Brazilian dude going mental for my Hounds, he probably had money riding on it
  17. Also dual screening the Riverhounds winning their US Open Cup third round match, and surprised at how the chat in the Bleacher Report youtube channel was like 60% Brazilians speaking portuguese. Didn't know a match between second and third division US teams would be popular down there (paging bubba @KawadaSmile)
  18. Cora Jade looking very respectful tonight
  19. Jeez, just noticed blonde Pretty Deadly has the Austin kneebrace too, does anyone in developmental have intact ACLs?
  20. So I wasn't expecting Bunny to have a singles match, given the angle he did with Dom, but I'm sure him and Priest can have a fun brawl.
  21. Like Risk but with wrestling territories.
  22. The Von Erichs in their prime may have been the babyface-ist babyfaces who ever did babyface.
  23. To be fair, it's not like WWE isn't known for doing fuckery when it comes to promotions they view as a potential threat.
  24. Honestly considering how Japan is culturally, it's not as wild an accusation as you might think. It's not like racism as in they dislike black people, but it's more like they see them as a curiosity which in a way is kinda worse. Like how Bob Sapp was a big star there just because he was a big black man in a country where that was pretty rare to see.
  25. To me the funniest part of the story is that Punk would go visit the company he felt tried to kill him when it's in theory being run by the man he famously doesn't like. Yeah you can say he was visiting friends but it felt like poking the hornet's nest with a stick, the fuck you think was gonna happen?
