I've just taken out 8 wrestlers and 2 manager I think I have what I want going forward. I really enjoyed what goc did with Southwest because it was some top talent but a load of great undercard talent that probably were punching above their weight. I will have to see how I can write out 10 roster spots.

I've seen a lot of this as I have done these types of projects. The best advice I give is to plan an event in 6 months and then work backwards. I think you have done that with the whole WTBS stuff, now it is about finding another event that is important to get to. For me... I have the big return of Ted Dibiase this week which is a major point, the next is the tag tournament, and then going from moment to moment and building up things from there. It's not so much the booking, I think I've got just too much, and want to scale back, so may look to loan away a load of talent so I can give everyone a run that's meaningful. Personally I was more happy with a roster that wasn't so stacked, like when we started out, so may cut back and loan out or drop some top guys and go back to booking more rawer talent. Although it seems extreme, id rather book the Rock N Roll RPMs and Sword and Vines than Rock N Roll Express as an example the same with Dundee and Street, I'd rather book Brad Armstrong and The Flame. I'll have a think, I'll do a catch up post in the next few weeks and dish out the talent I rather not use. Sorry to hear about your news Kev.

Hit a bit of a creative block gents, so haven't posted up any shows. Going to have a think about what too do...

So it's that time again, the trade list goes up. I'm interested in pretty much anything in return, so send your offers through. Bill Dundee (Don't want to loose him, but hasn't debuted so happy to listen to offers) Adrian Street (As above) Norvelle Austin (Think I have something in place, not sure) Ron Starr The Flame (Jody Hamilton/The Assassin) Tommy Lane & Mike Davis (Future Rock N Roll RPMs, only as a team)

Jimmy Golden jumped Eric Embry on the way to the ring and the brawl started from there, - 4. Ken Lucas defeats Roy Lee Welch in a bloody heated Alabama Death Match after 23 minutes of action. The way to win the match is for the loser to pass out in a submission hold from his opponent. Lucas got the win when he applied a Sleeper Hold on a bloody Welch, after several failed attempts he managed to lock in the hold. Lucas also managed to reach the ropes moments before applying the Sleeper Hold while locked in the Fuller Leg Lock. - 5. Southeastern Heavyweight Champion "Bullet" Bob Armstrong defeated Johnny Rich in 18 minutes. The stipulation of the match was that if Johnny Rich couldn't win, he'd have to leave Southeastern Championship Wrestling. Armstrong rolled to the outside and grabbed a his belt and smashed it over Rich head knocking him out. As the referee came around Armstrong covered Rich for the victory. Johnny Rich must now leave Southeastern forever. - 6. National Heavyweight Champion Buddy Landell with Baby Doll defeated The Mongolian Stomper in 16 minutes, when Baby Doll tossed Landell her purse and Bubby Landell knock the Stomper out with it while Baby Doll distracted the referee. PROUD MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN WRESTLING ASSOCIATION SOUTHEASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV Saturday 25th February 1984 Taped in front of a live studio audience at the Knoxville Civic Centre, Knoxville, TN Hosted by Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart National Heavyweight Champion :- "Nature Boy" Buddy Landell Southeastern Heavyweight Champions:- "Bullet" Bob Armstrong Southeastern Tag Team Champions :- The Heavenly Bodies (Bobby Eaton & Tom Pritchard "Beat the Champ" Television Championship :- Nightmare Danny Davis [4/5] The credits roll and we are in front of a studio audience at the Knoxville Civic Centre, your host’s are Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart. Charlie and Rick welcome the fans to another exciting week of Southeastern Championship Wrestling. Tonight we have the National Heavyweight Champion teaming with the Hollywood Blondes in 6 man action, The Mongolian Stomper will be in action, Roy Lee Welch is here and so much more. Before we get started with the action we will joined by the wrestler who so nearly captured the Southeastern Heavyweight Title this past Monday, Johnny Rich. Johnny comes to the announcers table to join Charlie Platt and Rock Stewart, Rich says he was so close to winning the Southeastern Title this past week and it would have been the greatest moment of his career, now he has spoken with Les Thatcher, and due to Bob Armstrong getting himself disqualified, he has agreed to giving me a rematch this Monday in Birmingham Alabama. This announcement brings out the champion Bob Armstrong, Armstrong swaggers out, similar to last week, cigarette in mouth, bloody towel over one shoulder and Southeastern Heavyweight Title over the other. Armstrong says he has no issue with defending his title again this week, but he has a stipulation he wants added, or he’s invoking his 28 day title rule, Johnny asks what it is, “Bullet” informs Rich that if he loses the match then he has to leave Southeastern Championship Wrestling for good, like his cousin “Wildfire” Tommy Rich. Johnny agrees and say he wants to apologise to Brad, Scott and Steve Armstrong his good friends for the beating he’s going to give their father on Monday, Armstrong just chuckles and strolls off. Charlie Platt confirms, that this Monday we will have Johnny Rich vs “Bullet” Bob Armstrong title vs career. === Advert === After a quick break we return with youngster Shawn Michaels out of San Antonio, Texas. Shawn Michaels was trained but Jose Lothario, and looks to have quite the career. His opponent this week is Southeastern stalwart Roy Lee Welch, Welch who has been having his fair share of problems with Ken Lucas these past few months, made a massive impact this past Monday when he cost Ken Lucas his title opportunity against Buddy Landell’. The bell rings and Welch is on the attack straight away. Welch gets the win after 5 minutes of toying with the youngster when he made him submit to the sleeper hold, a move that is a favourite of Ken Lucas. Welch celebrates like he’s just won the world title, only for Ken Lucas to charge the ring and attack Roy Lee Welch, Lucas only manages to get a few blows in before Welch manages to roll out of the ring. Lucas checks on Michaels, Welch goes over to Platt and Stewart, he says he’s had enough of having to prove himself against Ken Lucas, Lucas tells Welch the feeling is mutual and this Monday he’s challenging Welch to a Alabama Death Match, where the only way to win is for the other wrestler to give up in a submission hold, Welch agrees out of anger at being attacked. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and East Tennessee === We heard a lot of commotion from the back of the studio as we return from the commercial break, its Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton, The Rock N Roll Express. They join Platt and Stewart, they tell them that they are over the moon to be here in Southeastern Championship Wrestling, in the heart of Dixie. And they are here for one thing and one thing only and that’s to become Southeastern Tag Team Champions and to do that they have to defeat one of the best teams around in the Heavenly Bodies, and this past Monday they nearly did. But not too worry fans, we will have plenty of other opportunities coming up. They are aware the Heavenly Bodies aren’t here this week, but they are looking forward to their return so they can challenge again. Jim Cornette accompanied by Big Bubba Lynch comes to the announcers table, Cornette in a high pitched squeal almost, tells the Express they don’t deserve a title match, and they need to work their way up from the bottom. Ricky Morton tells Cornette their happy to do that if it means they get a title match, Gibson jumps in and says they are the best tag team in the world and will prove it by winning the Southeastern Tag Team Title. The Rock N Roll Express ask Cornette if he’s finished as they have a match to get too. The Devil’s Duo, Jeff Sword and Doug Vines are in the ring. The Devil’s Duo attack the Rock n Roll as they walk through the ropes, the bell rings and Sword and Vines are in control, but it doesn’t take long for the tide to turn and the Rock N Roll Express get the win after 7 minutes of action, following a Double Dropkick on Vines followed by Gibson covering him for the 3 count. === Advert === We return with Jimmy Golden sitting at the announcer’s desk with Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart and the number one contender to the National Heavyweight Championship, The Mongolian Stomper. Platt tells Golden that Landell’s plan really backfired, firstly the Hollywood Blondes couldn’t defeat you, and secondly we knew that he thought you and the Stomper couldn’t work together when their was a title match on the line. Jimmy Golden laughs and say it just shows how stupid Landell and his goons are, I will get my chance at Landell, but I’ve know the Mongolian Stomper a long time and I know he’ll destroy Landell this Monday in Birmingham. Charlie Platt then asks how Golden cousins Robert and Ron are doing, Golden tells Platt that they are on the mend and there load of pain coming Landell’s way when the Fullers return. Waiting in the ring for The Mongolian Stomper in this special 2-on-1 contest is the Masked Raider and The Shadow. Golden indicates to the Stomper to go to the ring, Stomper steams into the ring and completely mauls the two masked men. Stomper double pins both men after simply destroying them. Golden who spent the match on commentary says Buddy Landell better be ready for Monday because the Mongolian Stomper is. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and East Tennessee === Next up we have a very special contest, we have Nightmare Danny Davis in his 5th of 5 matches in his “Beat the Champ” Television Championship Challenge. Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart invites Danny Davis to the ring, Davis as ever is followed by partner Ken Wayne. Rick Stewarts pulls the infamous bag from under the table out as Charlie Platt puts his hand into it, and pulls out a piece of paper opens it up, its Brad Armstrong. Brad makes his way to the ring with his partner Tim Horner in toe. The bell rings and the match is on, in a fast paced affair that goes for about 7 minutes when it looks like Brad Armstrong has the victory following a Side Russian Leg Sweep, only for Danny Davis, to have some wits about him as he rolls out, concerned about the time limit, Brad wants to go out and him, but the referee stops this. Ken Wayne goes to check on him, and quickly swaps masks and rolls back in with Brad and the referee back to what’s happen. Brad goes to pick him out, only for Wayne pretending to be Davis, catches Brad with a school boy roll up and gets a 3 count. Ken Wayne and Danny Davis celebrate in the ring, when another referee runs to the ring and shows the first referee what happen, the referee calls for the match to restart, while Danny Davis argues with the official, Brad Armstrong hits a Drop Kick to Davis and covers him for the 3 count and the win to go 1/5 in the “Beat the Champ” Television Championship Challenge. Finally The Nightmares had the comeuppance at the worst possible time. === Advert === Following the break, Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart are joined by National Heavyweight Champion Buddy Landell, Eric Embry, Ken Timbs and Baby Doll. Baby Doll tells Platt and Stewart that it doesn’t matter who the champ has to face this Monday, he will put them out of action and the Mongolian Stomper will be no different. Landell jumps in and says he’s the best in the business and you could anyone at him, and he’s challenging any world champion to come to Southeastern so he can take their title. Landell and The Hollywood Blondes go the ring waiting on their opponents. Norvell Austin, Mr Wrestling and Scott Armstrong come to the ring and the bell rings and the match is underway. Half way through the match and Scott has been isolated from the rest of his team, “Bullet” Bob Armstrong comes to the announcers table to join commentary team. Scott Armstrong is being isolated as the weak link of the team and Charlie Platt asks Bob Armstrong what he thinks about his son getting a beating in the ring, Bob Armstrong replies by saying it can only roughen him up, he’s an Armstrong, he’s build of strong stuff. Landell, Embry and Timbs get the victory when Eric Embry hits a DDT on Mr Wrestling and covers him for the 3 count. Following the bell Jimmy Golden and The Mongolian Stomper storm the ring and attack The Hollywood Blondes, as Buddy Landell slides out before Golden and Stomper can get to him. Landell retreats while the 4 man brawl is continuing in the ring. Bob Armstrong joins Landell as he goes to leave, only for Johnny Rich charges from the back and attacks Bob Armstrong, Rich is laying a beating on Armstrong as the screen fades to black. === Show Ends === Quick Results 1. Roy Lee Welch defeats Shawn Michaels in 5 minutes. 2. The Rock N Roll Express defeat The Devil's Duo in 7 minutes. 3. The Mongolian Stomper defeats The Masked Raider and The Shadow in 4 minutes in a special 2-on-1 handicap match. 4. Alabama/East Tennessee - Ron Fuller has been very busy since the WTBS/Georgia split. He's had Ron Wright and Les Thatcher out securing TV syndication deals across Eastern Tennessee. Fuller has secured TV in Knoxville and Chattanooga and will be taping TV bi-weekly at the Knoxville Civic Centre. Others towns being looked at are Knigsport, Johnson City and Hazard, Kentucky. - Fuller has done a really great job of building his back room staff up, Les Thatcher will be heading up Southeastern's sister promotion Southern States (which should be back up and running this week), Thatcher will also act as an onscreen match maker. Ron Wright has been brought in too run the northern end of the territory in East Tennessee, he will be assisted by Phil Hickerson, expect Hickerson and The Flame (Jody Hamilton) to solely be used in East Tennessee and not Alabama going forward to help run the office there. Ken Lucas has been helping with the booking as he is winding down his career. - Norvelle Austin looks to be on the move shortly, he hasn't really found his feet back in Southeastern, it's believed Koko Ware has been in contact and looking to form a team. - Fuller has been working closely with Jerry Jarrett in setting up the new USWA, I could see more talent trades further down the road, as there will clearly need to blow off the Tommy Rich-Bob Armstrong feud. - Bob Armstrong has done a fantastic job at slowly building to his heel turn since the turn of the year. Bullet Bob isn't overly keen on working against his sons, but may be persuaded, for now he will have his hands full with Johnny Rich and getting him over as a top level face. - With no top clear face in the promotion at the moment look for Bill Dundee to fill that role when he starts.

Jimmy Golden and The Mongolian Stomper defeat The Hollywood Blondes (Eric Embry & Ken Timbs) in 17 minutes. The stipulation of the match is that if Jimmy Golden or The Mongolian Stomper can pin the Blondes they will receive a National Heavyweight Title Match. The finish came when Buddy Landell ran out and pulled Jimmy Golden out of the ring when he had Timbs cover, only for the Stomper to cover Timbs and win the match for his team, meaning that it wont be Jimmy Golden facing Landell next week itll be The Stomper. Looks like Landell's plan backfired. - 4. Johnny Rich defeated Southeastern Heavyweight Champion "Bullet" Bob Armstrong via DQ when Armstrong used the bloody towel to choke out Rich at 16 minutes. This match had several near falls, including Johnny Rich hitting the Thesz Press on Bullet and getting the closest of near falls to almost win the contest and the title. The match went 15 minutes. - 5. National Heavyweight Champion Buddy Landell defeated Ken Lucas in 13 minutes via countout, when Roy Lee Welch came out and attacked Lucas on the outside while Landell distracted the referee. - 6. The Heavenly Bodies are shocked, the bell rings and the match is under way, a fast paced electric match. The ending comes when it looks like The Rock N Roll Express have the win following a Double Back Elbow only for the bell to go and the time limit to expire at 30 minutes. PROUD MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN WRESTLING ASSOCIATION SOUTHEASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV Saturday 18th February 1984 Taped in front of a live studio audience at the WTVY Television Studio in Dothan, AL Hosted by Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart National Heavyweight Champion :- "Nature Boy" Buddy Landell Southeastern Heavyweight Champions:- "Bullet" Bob Armstrong Southeastern Tag Team Champions :- The Heavenly Bodies (Bobby Eaton & Tom Pritchard "Beat the Champ" Television Championship :- Nightmare Danny Davis [3/5] The opening credits roll, and we pan over to Charlie Platt and a returning Rick Stewart sitting at the announcers desk, Charlie welcomes back Rick to the announcer’s booth. Charlie Platt announces that he has two huge bits of news, first being Southeastern Championship Wrestling is very happy to announce its return to East Tennessee after 4 long years, a full list of event will be advertised in our commercial break, and just to add to this, Southeastern Championship Wrestling will also be running TV tapings at the Knoxville Civic Centre bi-weekly. Rick pipes in and says that great news, Charlie says that isn’t all, due to Stanley Blackburn having a full plate of work in the AWA, he has installed Les Thatcher as the official match maker for Southeastern Championship Wrestling, Rick says thats great news. Charlie says that’s the good news out the way now for some bad, and I think I can see it coming now. Over walks “Bullet” Bob Armstrong to a sea of boos from the studio audience, Armstrong has the Southeastern Championship belt over one shoulder, a towel covered in blood over the other smoking a cigarette. He asks Rick Stewart to move so he can sit down. Charlie Platt angrily asks Bob what he was thinking this pass Monday when he turned on his friend Tommy Rich, Armstrong explained he was fed up with the Rich’s running around like they owned Alabama, Alabama is Armstrong territory, he says he’s going to carry this towel around like a championship belt, it’s the blood of the now departed Tommy “Wildfire” Rich. Charlie informs Armstrong that Johnny Rich is still here and Les Thatcher has signed a match for this Monday for your Southeastern Heavyweight Title, Bob chuckles to himself, well next week I’ll have two towels covered in blood, and then we will be completely cleared Alabama of Rich’s. He goes on to say that’s why he likes Buddy Landell, Landell has managed in a few weeks what Tommy Rich couldn’t do in months and get rid of those Fuller’s. Charlie Platt then asks how his boys Brad, Scott and Steve feels about what he did this past week, Armstrong turns and firmly tells Platt that he did this for his boys, the Rich’s were getting to big, and Alabama belongs to the Armstrong’s and now the problem has gone. === Advert === We return from the break with Tony Falk in the ring waiting for his opponent this week. Out comes to a big cheer from the studio audience Ken Lucas, Ken Lucas who defeated Roy Lee Welch this past week 2 falls to 0 in a 2-out-3 falls match. Lucas has been awarded a National Heavyweight Title match for this Monday in Birmingham. Lucas defeats Falk in around 4 minutes following a Sleeper Hold. Following the match Ken Lucas joins Platt and Stewart, Lucas says he wants to thank Les Thatcher for securing him a title match against Buddy Landell and he promises to restore some faith in the fans hearts by bringing the title back to someone the fans can be proud off. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and East Tennessee === Following the break we have Nightmare Danny Davis in the ring for his 4th match in his “Beat the Champ” Television Championship Challenge, last week in a complete mockery, Davis defeated his partner Ken Wayne. Rick Stewart pulls the bag out from under the table and Charlie puts his hand in, shuffles about and then pulls a name out, he looks at it and reads it out, and it’s Scott Armstrong. Armstrong makes his way to the ring with his brother in toe, Steve Armstrong tells Charlie, he's out here to make sure Ken Wayne doesn’t get involved. The bell rings and the match is under way, the match goes for about 8 minutes when Davis manages to get the win, following a Tombstone Piledriver after a very competitive match. Ken Wayne jumps into the ring to celebrate with his partner who is now only 1 win away from a title match. As Scott and Steve go to leave, Charlie Platt calls them over, Charlie asks them about their father, Steve tells Charlie, they think it’s very out of sorts of their father and hopefully they can win him round into a right way of thinking. === Advert === The Masked Yankee is in the ring waiting for his opponent, Johnny Rich makes his way to the ring, with a very emotional and determined looked on his face from what happened to his cousin. We go for about 4 minutes when “Bullet” Bob Armstrong comes out and sits on commentary. When Johnny notice’s he walks over to the announcers desk and slaps Armstrong and a brawl kicks off between the two. Until the locker rooms empties to split the pair up, these two will meet on Monday for the Southeastern Heavyweight Championship. Following the melee new National Heavyweight Champions Buddy Landell, Baby Doll, Eric Embry and Ken Timbs come out to the announcers desk. Baby Doll tells Charlie Platt to formally introduce the new National Heavyweight Champion, he goes to do it, but Landell cuts him off, and tells him he doesn’t need his introductions, everyone should know who he is. He tells Charlie Platt that he’s only been in Alabama for a few weeks now and he’s already got rid of Robert & Ron Fuller and now “Wildfire” Tommy Rich, and this week he’ll be dealing with another so-called Alabama legend in Ken Lucas, hell next week I might even need to take you out Charlie Platt. We heard a commotion from the back of the studio, its Jimmy Golden and The Mongolian Stomper, Jimmy Golden tells Landell he seems to have forgotten an Alabama legend that’s rearing to go in himself, he tells Landell that they are both ready to fight whenever, and he is openly challenging Landell to put his title on the line against him. Landell says he will compromise saying that if Golden and Stomper can defeat Embry and Timbs this Monday night that the person who gets the winning fall will be given a title match in two weeks’ time, Golden and Stomper agree. Landell tells Baby Doll, Embry and Timbs their business is done here and there enjoy watching Golden and Stomper in action. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and East Tennessee === We return from the break with the Devil’s Duo of Jeff Sword and Doug Vines in the ring facing off with Jimmy Golden and The Mongolian Stomper. The Mongolian Stomper making his return to the Southeastern territory last week to team with Jimmy Golden. Golden and Stomper made light work of the Devil’s Duo and pinned Sword after a Piledriver at 6 minutes. Following the bell, Eric Embry and Ken Timbs charged to the ring and attacked Golden and Stomper, only for Stomper and Golden to fight them off and were left standing in the ring as the Hollywood Blondes retreated. === Advert === Following the break we have the Southeastern Tag Team Champions The Heavenly Bodies, with Jim Cornette and Big Bubba Lynch. Jim Cornette sits down with Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart as the champs make their way into the ring for their match with Mr Wrestling and Marty Jannetty. While on commentary Jim Cornette tells Plat and Stewart that his tag team champions have defeated everyone worth defeating and they hav at a point where they may have to start leaving the territory to find some competition, when suddenly a phone rings and Charlie Platt answers it and passes the phone to Jim Cornette saying its Les Thatcher, Cornette still running his mouth asks Thatcher if he’s going to be getting his team any competition, Thatcher replies and tell him that he has the perfect team for him this Monday night, and that it’ll be a surprise, Cornette says he can’t wait and hangs the phone up. The Heavenly Bodies finish off Mr Wrestling and Marty Jannetty when Eaton pins Jannetty after an Alabama Jam at 7 minutes. === Show Ends === Quick Results 1. Ken Lucas defeats Tony Falk with a Sleeper Hold in 4 minutes. 2. Nightmare Danny Davis defeats Scott Armstrong in 8 minutes following a Tombstone Piledriver. 3. Johnny Rich and The Masked Yankee go to a no contest after 5 minutes. 4. Jimmy Golden & Mongolian Stomper defeat The Devil's Duo in 6 minutes. 5. The Heavenly Bodies defeat Mr Wrestling & Marty Jannetty in 7 minutes.

BREAKING NEWS It was announced earlier today on CNN that Southeastern Championship Wrestling has been cut with immediate effect from WTBS schedules and too be replaced by Jerry Jarrett Programming out of Memphis, TN. Southeastern contract was up for its 6 month renewal and both parties agreed to part company mutually. In turn Southeastern has stuck a deal with Jerry Jarrett to buy the East Tennessee part of their territory which includes Southeastern returning to such towns as Knoxville, Kingsport and Chattanooga. Southeastern Championship Wrestling would like to take a moment to thank Ted Turner and WTBS for all of their support in the past 6 months. This also ends the working relationship between Gordon Solie and Southeastern Championship Wrestling, again Southeastern would like to thank Gordon Solie for all of hard work in the past 6 months, a true wrestling legend.

Southeastern - Massive week for the ever changing Southeastern Championship Wrestling. The biggest piece of news is the heel turn of Bob Armstrong this past Monday in Birmingham, it's thought Armstrong was all for the idea, and wants to do a program with his sons down the line. - The Fabulous Ones have finished up their run in Southeastern, it's believe they weren't happy with the money they were drawing in Alabama and are going to try their luck in Memphis. In return Fuller has picked up one of the hottest acts in tag team wrestling the Rock N Roll Express, their matches with the Heavenly Bodies will be some matches. - Also moving on is Tommy Rich, Rich had a fantastic run in Southeastern as was talked about as one of the top stars of 1984 in the wrestling world. He has left on good terms but felt he run his course in Alabama. He is joining The Fabulous Ones in moving across to Memphis. - Two new faces coming in to Alabama are Superstar Bill Dundee and Adrian Street. Both will be treated as top level wrestlers when they start. Dundee will also be brought in to help with the booking with Ron Fuller. - Another new face behind the screens is Les Thatcher, he's role is two fold, he will be used as an on screen match maker and also booking Southeastern's sister promotion Southern States Wrestling. - Talking of Southern States Wrestling, Bobby Bearden has had his promoters license revoked due to non payment of talent from the Alabama State Commission, Les Thatcher and Ron Fuller has brought the promotion from Bearden and will be promoting the shows going forward. Expect it to follow the same format.
-
In another trade to rock the southern world of wrestling, Southeastern trades Scott Hall for Adrian Street from Mid South.
-
Seems reasonable, at this point whoever is added probably won't be world turning...
-
Going forward all the additional spot could be "flex spot"
-
Also wanted to say a big well done to everyone, we hit the 6 month mark for this league, and it seems to only just be going from strength to strength...
-
Im happy with whatever, i personally can't see me adding anyone. But happy if others want too.
-
In a massive trade, (well i think so), Southeastern trades The Fabulous Ones (Stan Lane & Steve Keirn) and Tommy Rich with Memphis for Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) and Bill Dundee. All 6 men will finish up their dates with respective companies...

They welcome us to the show and run through this evening show, we will be seeing The Fabulous Ones in action, Tim Horner will be in single action against The Flame, we will hear from National Heavyweight Champion “Wildfire” Tommy Rich and who he is selecting as the special guest referee for his upcoming title match with Buddy Landell. But before all that we will go to the ring where The Masked Yankee is ready for his match with Ken Lucas. Lucas who was again cheated this past Monday in his match with his former tag team partner Roy Lee Welch. Lucas has a competitive match with this newcomer the masked but Lucas’s experience is too much and he gets the win following a Sleeper Hold at 6 minutes. Ken Lucas joins Solie and Platt at the announcers table, Ken Lucas tells Gordon and Charlie that he has spoken with the match makers and this week in Birmingham on Monday, he and Roy Lee Welch will face off in a special 2 out of 3 falls match, which he knows he can win as he knows there’s no way the referee can miss seeing him hold the ropes more than once in one match, and he promises to settle the score. === Advert === Next up we have the Hollywood Blondes with Baby Doll come out, Baby Doll tells Gordon Solie and Charlie Platt that Buddy Landell and Magnum Scott Hall aren’t here this week, their off looking at new private jets to fly everyone from town to town when Landell wins the National Heavyweight Championship. Embry, Timbs and Doll then turn their attention to the Jimmy Golden, The Blondes send out a tag team challenge to Jimmy Golden this Monday in Birmingham, that’s if he can find himself a partner, they joke about how both Robert and Ron Fuller are on the shelf and it’s no secret that Golden isn’t the most liked of people in Southeastern Championship Wrestling. The Blondes now make their way to the ring for their match with The Armstrong Brothers Scott and Steve. The Blondes get the win following a DDT from Embry to Steve Armstrong followed by the cover for the 3 count at 8 minutes. Following the bell, Jimmy Golden charges the ring, and attacks Embry and Timbs until they leave the ring and escape to the back with Baby Doll. Jimmy Golden walks over to Gordon Solie and Charlie Platt, he’s says he may of burnt a lot of bridges over the past ten years but he’s got the perfect partner in mind for this Monday. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and Georgia === We are shown two VTR’s of Nightmare Danny Davis past two defenses in his “Beat the Champ” Television Championship, one over Johnny Rich and the other being Mr Wrestling. Both weeks he has swapped places with his partner Nightmare Ken Wayne behind the referee back. Danny Davis is waiting in the ring for this week’s draw with his partner on the outside. Charlie Platt holds open the bag and Gordon Solie dips his hand into the bag and pulls out a name, he looks and sniggers to himself, Gordon shows Charlie the name, Platt with a similar smirk. Gordon reads out the name as Nightmare Ken Wayne, Davis is shocked. Wayne gets into the ring, him and Davis have a talk and shake hands. The bell rings, both men look quite reluctant to hit one another, both men go to lock up, and then break, this happens several times, then Davis hits the ropes, and hits Wayne with the lightest of light shoulder blocks, Wayne goes to the mat, and Davis covers him for the 3 count. Gordon Solie puts over how much of a farce this match was as Danny Davis goes 3/5 in his quest for a title match. === Advert === The Fabulous Ones who challenge the Southeastern Tag Team Champions The Heavenly Bodies this week in Birmingham, these teams have met 4 times in the past and this will be the rubber match in this feud as the last time these two teams met it ended in a DQ as The Hollywood Blondes attacked the Fabs at Superclash. Tommy Lane and Mike Davis are waiting in the ring for their tag team match this evening against The Fabulous Ones. As the Fabulous Ones make their way to the ring, they are jumped by the tag champs Bobby Eaton and Tom Pritchard along with Big Bubba Lynch, they beat down the Fabulous Ones on the outside of the ring, which included Bobby Eaton coming off the middle rope to the floor hitting an Alabama Jam on Steve Keirn and Big Bubba Lynch hitting a big splash on Lane on the floor. This is clearly an attack to put the Fabs out of their tag title match on Monday. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and Georgia === We return from the break and the make shift team of Mr Wrestling and Johnny Rich make their way to the ring to face off with Tommy Lane and Mike Davis. The match goes for about 7 minutes when Johnny Rich hits a Flying Cross Body on Mike Davis and covers him for the 3 count. === Advert === Following the break we return and we have Phil Hickerson and The Flame come out to the announcer’s desk before The Flame’s match with Tim Horner. Hickerson and The Flame reiterate that they are out to kill off the Armstrong breed in professional wrestling, and Brad got a small piece of it this past Monday, and this Monday Scott and Steve Armstrong will be getting the same this Monday coming. And now Tim Horner gets his, due to his association with Brad Armstrong, The Flame makes his way into the ring waiting on Tim Horner. Tim Horner comes to the ring with Brad Armstrong, to a lot of fanfare. The match starts with The Flame getting frustrated with the speed of Tim Horner, finally Flame gets his hands on Horner and is using his size and weight for the advantage. The end came when The Flame went for a running charge into the corner on Horner, only for Tim Horner to slip out inbetween the middle rope letting The Flame to charge into the corner. Horner climbs to the top rope and dives onto The Flame and gets a surprising 3 count at 9 minutes. Horner and Armstrong celebrate on the outside as The Flame and Phil Hickerson grab hold of Dave Hebner the referee suggesting there was a fast count. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and Georgia === We return from break with National Heavyweight Champion “Wildfire” Tommy Rich joining Gordon Solie and Charlie Platt. Gordon welcomes Rich and ask him if he’s decided who he going choose as the special guest referee for his National Heavyweight Title match this Monday in Birmingham. Gordon explains to the fans that special guest referee stipulation came about when last week Buddy Landell claimed he wouldn’t get fair title shot and demanded that there was a special guest referee and that the winner of the match last Monday would get to choose, in that match “Bullet” Bob Armstrong defeat Ken Timbs to win the decision for Tommy Rich, backfiring on Landell. Rich says he has decided who he wants to be special guest referee, he invites his cousin out Johnny Rich, Tommy Rich says you can’t have more trust than with family. We wait a minute or so and Johnny Rich doesn’t come out, then from the back comes Southeastern Heavyweight Champion “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, “Bullet” tells Tommy that Johnny took off after his match this evening with his boys Steve and Scott, but as he’s here he wanted to offer his services, he said that he won the match last Monday and he can trust him like family. Gordon Solie reminds Tommy Rich he must have a signature on the contract tonight so they can have it all processed through Stanley Blackburn. Tommy Rich says that he doesn’t have much of a choice if Johnny Rich isn’t here, and he love Bob Armstrong to be the referee, “Bullet” signs the contract.
