If Dijak shouldn't be a factor in the title hunt, why in the world did they do that angle to have him take out Truth Martini? Only thing I guess is that they saw that promo he cut a couple weeks later and said fuck it
-
Well it is a good thing that a New Japan guy actually lost in Ring of Honor other than Gedo but having it be Ishii to a choke out from Bobby Fish is just strange and something that was mostly done to shock the crowd Love the idea of they Young Bucks promoting a record number of super kicks in a 8 man match that should be loaded with flippy crazy shit and there was none of them. Very smart. Now ruining a main event to basically restart the Bullet Club in ROH with Adam Cole as the member is just lazy rehashing of the them in New Japan with a finish straight out of 1997 NWO Maybe this finish would be better if we didn't have a really intriguing and somewhat fresher angle at the end of the Evolve show the night before.

Not sure if it is just me but I could listen to a 30 minute show with nothing but Pat Patterson "so we take them to a gay bar" stories involving wrestlers. I mean even the concept of Ricky Steamboat in a gay bar in early 1980's is just hilarious
-
I doubt that since they have "kids" on the show (Russev & Kevin Owens) that weren't around during that time
-
I am more annoyed that the NXT pre-Network shows are completely gone. Not even on Hulu anymore. But yeah it stinks So was the Edge and Christian reference to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the first Meltzer reference on a WWF/WWE show? I mean besides the usual terms like "dirt sheets" or "newsletters" Not sure which was more surprising/awesome that reference or the CM Punk in UFC part.

So Styles vs Reigns at Extreme Rules now. So I guess the Finn Balor to RAW speculation will continue for another month
-
Well I mean the Attitude Era was largely built around a McMahon in some form so why not make the New Era the same thing This might a new era in terms of in ring work and guys in the ring but in terms of finishes not much has changed
-
And here is the setup for the Balor Club entrance.
-
Reigns with the slightly heelish power moves is awesome. These two guys are hitting the hell out of each other
-
Wow the crowd reaction to Styles is almost non existent. And then they show a fucking beach ball for some strange reason Okay it is starting to pick up but this crowd is more interesting in booing Reigns than cheering for Styles
-
I really would love to know what the actual plan was for this Shane vs Taker thing after WM because no way in hell this was the original plan.
-
I think we have hit the "time to make up time because of the first match" part of this trainwreck
-
Shockingly Corey Graves actually asked that question in the pre show which was pretty surprising.
-
God bless them but in any other city, fans look at people doing a CM Punk chant like complete morons.
-
JBL mentioning Flair "issues this week" was pretty funny. Hated the finish but at least they did it with the right ref
-
Well I guess they had to somehow figure out how to keep the belt on the Miz because beating him cleanly would have been just unrealistic. Sets up 4 way at next show I guess Wow why in the world would you let Sami eat the finisher again after the comeback. He is definitely the 4th man on this totem pole now
-
Oh fuck we are going to get a full match of Owens neutering Byron Saxton while Cole and JBL pile on. We get enough of that on every other show.
-
someone needs to possibly explain to me how that was a work unless you just trolling? I doubt they are trying to push the Vaudevillians as people who can destroy careers Hopefully Zayn vs Owens get the extra minutes and not in the McMahon's segment
-
Would rather have that then the two fucks in full clown makeup. Fuck Enzo hurt in his first huge match hitting the ropes. That isn't going to be good for multiple people
-
Kalisto should have died on the botched flip. Luckily Ryback was in a bad spot to save him Say what you want about Ryback, he is working his ass off in this match. Thank god this match wasn't on Wrestlemania in front of a stadium with 5% of the crowd in it
-
Yeah but Ziggler has been an act the WWE has had zero use for since that Survivor Series where Sting debuted. There is no reason to give Dolph a win
-
Arn doesn't come off bitter as well but he definitely has the Al Snow "these kids today don't understand how good they got it" mentality. But the reality is that they do. Not sure if half of the current roster could handle the insane schedule the Crocketts had from 85-88. The best part was Arn saying "I spilled 20 buckets of blood that War Games tour. Not 19. Not 21. 20 buckets".
-
Figure it is going to be like Wrestlemania where they are some really good matches with some really questionable finishes. What comments did Ryback make? I mean it explains why he hasn't been on RAW and maybe Smackdown since WM and they booking a rematch for the title because why not I guess Really hope Ambrose wins but have no faith in that. I figure it will be like Styles where he wins the big shows, loses on RAW and Smackdown and claims he "put the guy over"
-
I guess I am so used to Karl Anderson being so half-assed in New Japan tag matches for the last couple years that I enjoyed the intensity from him Some things never change though. No matter how dominant they try to make a tag team, they will always get destroyed by ONE main eventer guy
-
Since Jericho won the feud over AJ Styles and pinned Sami Zayn clean last week, there is no chance Ambrose is winning at Payback right
