I know that we as wrestling fans are supposed to have no memory but really Paige is now friends with Natalya after she injured her. Is this one of those "it was on Smackdown so it didn't really happen" or just assume fans are stupid How many months has this Dudleys vs Wyatts feud been going on and has the Dudleys won any of the matches. Well I guess they did win a match in this feud on Smackdown according to recap
-
Brock in the Royal Rumble gives me hope that they actually do the right thing with Brock vs Reigns at WM for the title.
-
Man I really hope that Meltzer's idea of who is winning the Royal Rumble (and the title) isn't actually true or they are really asking for a shitty crowd reaction. I mean the only thing worse than the "in case of emergency give Cena a title" is that. I still can't believe that it looks like Brock Lesnar your most expensive talent in the company looks to be involved in at best a mid card match on the show unless they decide to go Rock vs Brock since it really looks like Triple H is going to be very busy
-
Well like a few people on Twitter have mentioned, this isn't that much of a surprise when you see that NXT announced about 5 or 6 house shows in the next month. Can't fill them all up with the same talent so more needed. The Nakamura one doesn't make much sense since he beat Styles tonight (this morning). All the others lost
-
Overreact much or just really trolling?
-
Well the other surprises was Hiro Saito and Shiro Koshinaka which are probably big deals. Kabuki was there as well but he seems to be a regular in these.
-
Well not sure what you mean by "cryptically raving" but I will guess the following: 1. Cheeseburger in the pre show battle royale getting in the ring with guys like Fujiwara & Liger 2. Haku showed up in a Bullet Club shirt. Have no idea how he was eliminated though 3. They did some kind of cross promotion thing with some movie cartoon thing (Dreamon I think it was called?) which features a VERY long segment with a little girl, some skinny older looking guy, and 2 dancing characters. It was harmless unless you think about how much of a diaster this would be on a main US show.

The last three matches were great and must watch. It seems like the biggest argument that people had against Okada vs Tanahashi was Okada selling of the leg from all of the damage. I agree that it was weird that the leg would be sold for almost 10 minutes and yet he could drop kicks like nothing matters. But if you are bitching about that then Ishii vs Shibata is a 1 star match because that amazing match was just 2 guys beating the fuck out of each other and not selling a damn thing. That was the ultimate "my dick is bigger" match as someone on Twitter said. Can't have it both ways. Those last 3 matches hid what I thought was terrible booking in the beginning. You have a pre show Rumble match won by one of the bookers of the shows with the supposed big celebrity next to him, the Bucks winning the Jr tag title because I guess he was the only team that can regularly appear in New Japan, you have Lethal beat Elgin in a way that completely exposes his Big Mike super man character, and Goto beating basically Naito, BUSHI, and EVIL all by himself which I don't get. Glad to see the Briscoes win the 6 man belts because they will be around more. I want to be excited for Honma winning the tag titles with Makabe but last year Doc & Gallows lost at WK and won it like 2 months later.

I always love the pre show Rumble match but that finish was some bull shit. I hope Triple H doesn't book the Royal Rumble the same way or Steph is getting a Divas title match at Wrestlemania Still marked out seeing Cheeseburger in the same ring as guys like Liger and Fujiwara. And fucking Haku was there Just trying to imagine what would have happened if a major US company tried to do that cross promotional thing with that kids cartoon/movie. Cute but the stoners watching this must have been freaking the fuck out So far the booking has been pretty shaky. Bucks winning tag titles is the safe pick but wrong one. Elgin losing to a book shot and 1 Lethal injection is pretty stupid if he is this incredible power house
-
If it means working with Triple H then great cause it means he isn't facing Reigns for the title which is idiotic to me. After that I cant see anything important for him then a celebrity. I would hate to see Brock vs Rock but I'm sure it would get a huge reaction
-
The more I hear about plans for Brock for wrestlemania the more I have a feeling that the logically idea of Brock vs Reigns isn't happening. We went from Brock vs Owens that died real quickly to the new one being Brock vs Bray Wyatt which is so much worse.
-
Since the show was an actually PPV and not an IPPV I figured you would have to wait until it is up on VOD to see it on laptop/phone. I looked to see if it was online because I figure it would cheaper but didn't see anything. They did have something with Flipps whatever that was

Watched Final Battle last night. The wrestling on the show was very good and really not a match under "pretty good" on the list. The finishes were shaky in my opinion. Well everyone knew that Lethal was beating Styles since they are already told us that Elgin vs Lethal at WrestleKingdom 10 is a title fight and AJ already has a match. It is stupid but if you are going to work with New Japan you have to deal with it. What really bothers me is that they are definitely doing something with Jerry Lynn based on the TV show last week and the finish last night. Given that Jerry Lynn in a ROH title angle was a disaster for the company in 2009 and that Lynn had neck (or back) surgery recently I don't know where you are going with it. I am not sure if War Machine was winning the belts to begin with but given that Michael Bennett was wrestling with a cracked rib and Matt Taven blew out his knee in the first minute of the match it had to be quick title change I hated the Bobby Fish/Roderick Strong with the fake tap out if Roderick isn't turning heel soon. I mean at least they didn't ring the bell and do the timekeeper going into business for himself like Brock vs Taker 2 which was a much worse finish
-
Glad I was wrong on that one. Completely throws a monkey wrench in the plans next 3 months. Brock is now a title challenger?
-
Yeah I doubt Reigns is winning the title tonight although if you are a company desperate for ratings then why the hell now. I figure Triple H comes back completely no selling the beatdown and causes Reigns to lose.
-
The great thing about is that they might have saved Roman Reigns and actually got him over with the crowd The bad news is that Shemaus is even more irrelevant as a champion
-
The beatdown would have been awesome about 6 months ago. I wonder if it is too late
-
Man I hope they put Reigns in a singles or 3 way at Royal Rumble because I am not sure of the reaction he would get when he wins the Royal Rumble again
-
For people that think the Reigns is the next Diesel, listen to the reaction when it looked like he was winning. The same crowd that was chanting for Cena and Rollins and fucking CM Punk
-
This has been a really great match. A match of the year contender if you completely ignore the shitty angle that created the match and the winner of it
-
So now Charlotte is doing the Flair flop in matches. I guess she will be doing the corner flip and missing her top rope moves as well
-
This idea that that IC Title has this meaning outside the WWE sphere like the world title is funny. I mean when has Kevin Owens ever been on a TV show or a non WWE commercial. It was a really good match and glad to see Dean as the champion
