Whatever we think about the finish of this show, we are going to enjoy it more at about hour 3 of Money in the Bank tomorrow
-
And Steve Corino as a road agent I like Johnny Gargano basically doing Eddie Edwards in TNA as he becomes the person he hates but the finish is really stupid given Ciampa actually tapped out Oh this isn't a blood feud it is a end a person career feud. Dropping someone with a bad neck on the boards of the ring is much more meaningful than having him bleed for a couple hours
-
Then you are too obsessed with blood. Watch a death match tournament then
-
Wow he took off his wedding ring and spit on it. That is fucking cold. Although given that he threw it in the air I doubt it is the real one So is that the finish?
-
Yeah I think the last time in the WWE that they exposed the ring was when Nexus destroyed John Cena
-
Well either someone is bleeding or they are expecting someone to bleed given the gloves the ref is wearing
-
Candice Larae is turning heel isn't she HOLY FUCK NIGEL got crushed when they landed on the announcer desk
-
Black has definitely had better matches in the last year but I do love a good hoss fight and man was that it. They kept Sullivan as a complete monster even in a loss.
-
And they showed Keith Lee in the obligatory debut in the front row. So he should be in the next Takeover show Apparently someone ripped a beach ball that was going through the crowd and the crowd cheered. Where were these fuckers at Wrestlemania Now that is how you do a stretch muffler by Sullivan. that looked painful Thank god that first kick wasn't the finisher because Black completely missed that and Sullivan just dropped because he didn't know better. The 2nd kick connected way too good.
-
So Black vs Lars Sullivan is the match before the Chicago street fight main event. That is kind of surprising. Although to be fair everyone is working from behind after these last 2 matches
-
I didn't think I would get a match between those 2 better than the ones I saw in the DC house show about a month 1/2 ago. I was so wrong. This is just amazing Now they are just trying to kill each other flying way too far
-
Dream cosplaying Hulk Hogan which is funny and ironic on so many levels And apparently Ricochet is wearing tights that are very Prince Puma like
-
Oney Lorcan was willing to kill himself in this match and damn near did with that bump on "the hardest part of the ring" Great hot start to this show. Although I guess the fans weren't willing to give Burch/Lorcan a chance because Era are former Ring of Honor guys and Adam Cole hangs out with the Bucks

I defy anyone to say a good thing about Pat McAfee on the pre show

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
hammerva replied to Lust Hogan's topic in Publications and Podcasts
What examples come to mind for that? To me, he's seemed less interested, going thru the motions, and bored on Bruce's show vs. his other shows. I haven't watched the network show lately. I'd have to imagine between that, the bischoff pod, his regular business, and just enjoying himself doing watchalongs with Tony, that it's hard to gear up for STWW unless he's already into the topic. The biggest example to me was when Bruce is talking about the negotiations to get Flair in the Hall of Fame and his heart attack that happened during that time. Near the end Conrad is clearly bored, looks at his watch, and says something like "I thought this was the JJ Dillon podcast" which I didn't understand. I also think he started salty when Bruce talked about the last show and did his usual "ECW never drew and the WWE tried to save them" thing. Conrad is a fan of things that quite frankly Bruce thinks sucks or is extremely overrated until the WWE did something with them -
Never thought we would see Claire Lynch on a WWE show but there she was

https://twitter.com/JJWilliamsWON/status/1006335756300939270 Using the "Leave the Memories Alone" song never stops being funny

Yeah the whole "you broke the code of punk rock" is just funny coming from Sterling James Keenan. Maybe he was also that kind of guy in the indies but conformed for the business but he didn't become a blatant CM Punk rip off until he went to FCW and then NXT. I assume it is just him being the company guy shitting on the person who won a lawsuit against a WWE employee (at the time). To be fair if anyone deserves to be a company guy it is Graves because he is clearly never wrestling again and they gave him a broadcaster job when he had no experience at all. Now he is just shitting on the internet fans and Punk is just an afterthought. To be the point if insulting people for liking Kenny Omega of all things. The problem is that he has seen that the internet can be easily worked into a shoot with the Booker T thing and now just want to play with them. That is why there is a part of me that wonders how shoot this really is.

While Dijak is clearly a better wrestler than Cass, he is smaller than big Cass (not by much) and has way less charisma than Big Cass. Granted his charisma is that douche New Yorker/New Jersey one that probably stood out in Times Square to hear Enzo "rapping" on Monday still better than nothing. I really hope that Zelina Vega succeeds on Smackdown Live so we can see a rebirth of managers in the WWE. If anyone can use someone like a Stokely Hathaway from EVOLVE it is Dijak.
-
I would say that Bryan can work with a broom to a really good match but then I saw that Big Cass match
-
The ONLY redeeming feature of that awful segment was that it wasn't done during the attitude era. Because then it would have been 100 times more offensive and 100 times less funny. Man Lashley better be facing Brock having to deal with that garbage I can see certain people at FOX loving that segment though. Especially the ones in the news part of FOX

Next week there will be a documentary on Showtime about talking about Mauro Ronallo and dealing with his life long dealing with bi-polar disorder. Looks pretty fascinating and kind of scary to see the mood swings to see what he is dealing with. While it seems to be dealing more with his younger days in Canada there is footage of him in NXT including his now famous frantic announcing of the ladder match. It will be interesting if they bring up the issues with JBL and why he was basically fired from Smackdown. probably not since it is only about 90 minutes
-
No they are just going to give her the title.

Well when you most important thing is to claim that you sold out at 10,000 people, does it really matter who gets those tickets. While I am shitting on them for this, pretty much every wrestling, sports. and concert company/group would want and do this. I do love Dave arguing about semantics about whether they were sold to brokers or fans. You know the same Dave that just had to tell people on the day Bruno died that he didn't sell out MSG 187 or whatever number they come up with times
-
Well they have been kind of in the habit of making big mistakes. Like building your new brand on Tim Storm and Jocephus
