  1. 3. So, here is my latest project - 700-ish word articles on a match for each day of the year, inspired by attempts to do this last year on the board, if not this year as well. As it was late getting off of the ground, the first one covers 15 different matches - http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2017/01/16/wrestling-365-11-115/ Maximo Sexy vs Kamaitachi – CMLL Hair vs Hair 01/01/2016 The Great Muta © vs Arn Anderson – WCW WCW Television Title Match 01/02/1990 Joe Doering © vs Go Shiozaki – AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Title Match 01/03/2015 Keiji Mutoh © vs Nobuhiko Takada – NJPW IWGP Heavyweight Title Match 01/04/1996 KENTA © vs Takeshi Morishima – NOAH GHC Heavyweight Title Match 01/05/2014 Ric Flair © vs Carlos Colon – WWC NWA World Heavyweight Title Match 01/06/1983 The Sandman © vs Rhino – ECW ECW World Heavyweight Title Match 01/07/2001 John Cena © vs Edge – WWE WWE Championship Title Match 01/08/2006 Dick Hutton © vs Pat O’Connor – NWA NWA World Heavyweight Title Match 01/09/1959 Shane Douglas © vs Taz – ECW ECW Heavyweight Championship Match 01/10/1999 Sting © vs Ric Flair – WCW NWA/WCW World Heavyweight Title Match 01/11/1991 Matt and Nick Jackson © vs Kevin Steen and El Generico – PWG PWG World Tag Team Titles Match 01/12/2013 El Hijo del Santo vs Brazo de Oro Mask vs Hair Match 01/13/1991 Seth Rollins vs Hunico – FCW Jack Brisco Classic final 01/14/2011 Royal Rumble 1989 01/15/1989 Please do check it out. I think it is worth a look at least >_>
  4. I guess the numbers aren't really what I'm thinking about, more where the big title matches/changes and angles took place. Cheers for all the help so far guys, appreciate it.
  5. Hello all, just looking for a bit of guidance in an area I am woefully inept at. In 1984, what would be considered the 'big' shows for each main territory? Some are self explanatory, but my lack of knowledge about wrestling markets and US geography doesn't help. WWF: MSG, Boston Garden Memphis: Mid-South Coliseum (though they run it every week IIRC) The groups I'm mainly looking for are (in addition to adding to the WWF list, as I'm sure there are more): Mid-South WCCW MACW GCW AWA I'm not sure if all of them can be broken down in the same way as WWF can, but thought I'd at least ask. Thanks for any and all help.
  6. http://tvtimelimitremaining.co.uk/1984-year-review-wwf-championship-wrestling-07-01-1984/ I fill in some gaps with a WWF show with David Schultz, Mr Fuji and Bob Backlund. Oh yeah, and Hulk Hogan.
  7. http://tvtimelimitremaining.co.uk/1984-year-review-nwa-best-championship-wrestling-19-02-1984/ Back to Georgia for a show that includes King Kong Bundy, The Road Warriors and the tease of Harley Race joining the Heenan Family. Plus, Ric Flair bumps a lot for Jesse Barr.
  8. This has become the podcast for my jogging at the moment. Great work guys.
  9. http://tvtimelimitremaining.co.uk/1984-year-review-nwa-world-wide-wrestling-18-02-1984/ Doubling up today with a second column. This one covers the 18th February World Wide Wrestling show, with the biggest match on the card being Dory Funk Jr and Dick Slater. Now with gifs back in place!
  10. http://tvtimelimitremaining.co.uk/1984-year-review-wccw-18-02-1984/ I return after a year to work on my review of 1984. In this review, I cover the 18th February WCCW show, which includes Chris Adams vs Ric Flair and Mike Von Erich vs Buddy Roberts.
  11. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/08/19/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-twenty-three/ My first article after a return from Canada. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/08/26/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-twenty-four/ http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/09/02/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-twenty-five/ Because everyone needed a Kane world title reign. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/09/09/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-twenty-six/ Money in the Bank, biatch.
  12. JDownloader - you can grab entire channels, too. The install doesn't work for me for some reason. Thanks anyway. 4k Video Downloader is what I use -- I think it is free for playlists up to 25 videos or something, but I've been using the paid version for a while as I like the option to subscribe to a channel and have it auto-download for me and such. Funnily enough, I have this but my version seems to have given up the ghost somewhat. Maybe I'll have a tinker and see what I can do. Cheers.
  13. JDownloader - you can grab entire channels, too. The install doesn't work for me for some reason. Thanks anyway.
  14. Is there a best way to grab a whole playlist in one go?
  15. My laziness is your luck as you get THREE articles for the price of one! Admittedly, they cover the last THREE weeks, but hey ho. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/07/09/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-twenty/ Where people get thrown through spotlights. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/07/15/traking-the-real-world-champion-part-twenty-one/ Where everyone loses titles all the time. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/07/22/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-twenty-one/ Where I take a three week break to head off to CANADIA moose spotting or some such. The last one is mislabelled.
  16. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/07/01/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-nineteen/ I get to spend some time in WWECW and watch Tommy Dreamer matches *shudder*
  17. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/06/24/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-eighteen/ The title takes its first tour outside of the WWE, and it is not a fun one.
  18. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/06/17/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-seventeen/ From Luther Reigns, to.... ...ah, shit.
  19. http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2016/06/10/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-fifteen-3/ Fuck you, world. Mislabeled - this is 16.
  20. https://kayfabetoday.wordpress.com/2016/05/27/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-fifteen/ Brock Lesnar smushes some more people. Standard. https://kayfabetoday.wordpress.com/2016/06/03/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-fifteen-2/ Things take a turn for the odd - I did not see this one coming. Ignore that they both say 'fifteen' - one was numbered wrong when posted.
  21. https://kayfabetoday.wordpress.com/2016/05/20/tracking-the-real-world-champion-part-thirteen/ Chapter 13, and Kurt Angle has some big title defences to contend with.
  22. http://tvtimelimitremaining.co.uk/roll-dice-3/ Roll the Dice #3 brings reviews on this mixed bag of action: Steve Austin vs The McMahons (Ladder Match for control of the WWF, King of the Ring 1999) Triple H vs Jeff Hardy (Number One Contender Match, Armageddon 2008) Jumbo Tsuruta & Great Kabuki vs. Genichiro Tenryu & Ricky Fuyuki (AJPW 22/10/1989) Giant Baba vs Harley Race (NWA World Heavyweight Title match, AJPW 09/04/1980) Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker (Summerslam 2015) El Hijo Del Santo vs Espanto Jr (UWA World Lightweight Title Match, 10/04/1988) Enjoy!
  23. I read the first one. I enjoyed it enough. Simple, yet engaging.
  24. I just watched this, and will give a fuller review for the Roll the Dice project I'm watching, but this match just felt awful to me. I've never seen Baba in singles before I don't think, but this doesn't exactly inspire me to watch any more. Race tries to make this match work, but it is wrestled at a glacial pace at times. The myriad number of one counts don't help to build any tension whatsoever, and the finish comes out of nowhere. Awful.
  25. I'm doing an article, so a couple of months probably. However, between having a job, doing my own stuff and yadda yadda yadda, there might not as much time as it sounds. Thanks for the suggestions so far guys. Which show would I need to be checking out primarily if I went back to 1991? Worldwide, Saturday Night or Main Event? I'm assuming Saturday Night, but tell me if I'm wrong.
