  1. http://tvtimelimitremaining.co.uk/a-wrestling-year-01-01-1986-07-01-1986-part-2/ I watch an awful Saturday Night's Main Event, a Power Pro Wrestling episode with the NWA World Heavyweight Champion and a bonus match between Bill Dundee and Jerry Lawler.
  2. Since I will be thirty this year, enjoy writing about wrestling and wanted to focus my ideas in terms of what I covered, I've decided to start a project were I will cover a large selection of the wrestling TV that was aired during 1986, the year I was born. WWF, NWA, CWA, Mid-South and AWA will be the main areas I cover. The first post is up - http://tvtimelimitremaining.co.uk/a-wrestling-year-01-01-1986-07-01-1986-part-1/ as I watch action from Mid-South, CWA, WWF Wrestling Challenge and NWA World Championship Wrestling. Please look and comment - this is quite a big project, so any interactions will be most welcome.
  3. Marty Scurll and Jimmy Havoc to feud over the PROGRESS Title.
  4. I did an ebook of Fall Guys. Can be purchased from the Kindle Store or on PayHip (PayHip gets you both Kindle and ePub versions plus I get a bigger cut). Purchased. Thanks for that.
  5. It felt like a lot of crossover to me but Capitol is written so much better that I didn't mind it. Yeah, I guess I'm thinking that I pick up Capitol rather than the NWA book as a taster of what he does.
  6. Would it be worth picking up both the NWA and the Capitol Revolution book? Or is the crossover fairly significant?
  7. Is there a good channel for AWA 1984 footage? Cheers.

    Current NWA

I'm keeping an eye on Fight Nation as it is fairly local. Watched the last show on streaming and it was solid if unspectacular.
  9. What I don't get about this is that Duggan comes in to Mid-South with Akbar in 1982. I can only assume that is a short lived pairing.
  10. thanks for that. That should be useful listening - although it probably just means that he has done what I'm trying to do and better! I realise Dibiase was away for a lot of 1984, but the feud kicked back up at the tail end of 1984. I just wasn't sure if he returned to team, feud or to team then feud with Duggan.
  11. Hello all I'm just looking for some guidance as to the initial break-up of Duggan and Dibiase in 1983 Mid-South. What caused it? I'm currently watching it chronologically, but also doing some writing on the Duggan/Dibiase feud - I don't really want to spoil everything, but need the additional information for the writing. Also, did they team back up in 1984 before they split up again? I've seen most of the angle before the feud in 1985, and this is what it seemed to suggest, but I might have misunderstood. Thanks for any and all help.
  12. Was there a big angle that led to the split between the two, or did they just go their separate ways?
  13. Another place I'm writing for - The Tag Rope. Here is my written column covering the Ric Flair vs Kerry Von Erich 1982 cage match. Enjoy! http://www.thetagrope.com/#!Kerry-vs-Flair-Christmas-Star-Wars/ipqtf/5672d2780cf2fb0fe5b23a25
  14. It was answered a couple of posts ago. There was enough of a hint that it was Bossman to consider it closed.
  15. My wXw review - Scurll vs Dieter Jr. is pretty good, as is the bullrope match. http://www.theindycorner.com/reviews/wxw-hamburg-271115-review/
  16. I liked the 6 man, Scurll/Dieter Jr and the Bullrope match. All solid enough. The main event was a bit naff though.
  17. This was posted by the WXW company running in Germany. Some good UK and German names, and also includes Rhino to boot. Thought some people might be interested in having a look.
  18. BWW Episodes 1-4 review - includes a big Nathan Cruz vs Zack Gibson NGW Title match. http://www.theindycorner.com/reviews/bww-season-2-episodes-1-4-review/
  19. I don't want to be picky, but Andre with intangibles as 8 stood out to me of your last lot of ratings. I thought he might be higher - his sheer size and aura meant he dined out on the territory scene back in the 70s and 80s as a big name. Dunno if that warrants a 10, but just one I felt worth questioning.
  20. http://www.theindycorner.com/reviews/nwa-fight-nation-modern-warfare-71115-review/ My NWA Fight Nation review, featuring James Castle vs Mark Haskins and Marty Scurll vs MVP.
  21. Since I also now help out at The Indy Corner, check out my new blog where I review the Top 10 moments of Season 1 for British Weekly Wrestling (essentially NGW). http://www.theindycorner.com/reviews/bww-the-road-to-season-2/
  22. Lex Luger was my choice. Admittedly, I think he gets more love in places such as this, but he gets very polar responses depending on where he is being talked about.
  23. Does anyone subscribe to the British Wrestling Weekly stuff?
  24. After a short break, here is Chapter 11 of PROGRESS: Jimmy Havoc vs Zack Sabre Jr. http://tvtimelimitremaining.co.uk/making-progress-chapter-11/
  25. Pro Wrestling Chaos is one that I'm thinking of doing some blog stuff on. Cheap streaming of their stuff. I like Kirkby, but do struggle to see him outside of the stooging role.
