FWIW, Shida and Conti did excellently in the quarter and minute-by-minute ratings. The women's division's booking has definitely picked up steam in the last few months. The belt has to go to Britt though. Shida has been an extremely important champ, but Britt is the major star right now, and they have a lot of young babyfaces in the wings to challenge her.

Hopefully we see some continuation of the Impact angle here after Omega's victory

Chelsea made a mistake by not crediting him and blocking him when he requested credit, but Wrestling Twitter showed they are not much better by relentlessly mocking and insulting and bullying Chelsea, and then tagging indies demanding they do not book her. Yeah, cuz Chelsea Green is surely the first person in wrestling history to use someone else's work to promote themselves without crediting the actual artist

I love love LOVE the random Dave in-depth dive into wrestling history, but this is so accurate. He really doesn't need to be a first-break reporter anymore. Hell, I don't even care when he talks MMA, even though it is clear that he has zero technical knowledge of MMA and often looks like an idiot. But when I listen to Dave on WOR, what I really want is random in-depth stories on wrestling history like Dave does sometimes. Of course Charlotte blew that whole thing into tremendously exaggerated babyface support, but anyone following her arc will know that Dave did not really make a huge mistake, although he should have absolutely, definitely checked with Charlotte before making any generic statements in public about any woman wrestler. So again, I really think that wrestlers focus on Dave radio shows when they just want management to like them again

Page is obviously the future and given my distaste for Omega, it is not surprising that I would want Page to take the title off Omega as soon as possible. However, I agree that it is too soon to do that rematch. They need to build that properly. I think it would be a mistake to book Page to challenge Omega and come up short. I get that Omega's ultimate coronation in NJ was much longer with a lot of draws, but the U.S scene has historically been different. For an ascendant potential ace in the US, I think you need to pull the trigger on them the first time they challenge for the title in the main event of a marquee show. Otherwise, the fans simply move on. Roman Reigns did not definitively beat Brock Lesnar in the main event of WM in 2015 cuz they got cold feet, and arguably he has never been the same since
