Who is shitting on whom on Twitter? In any case, Twitter is a medium for shitposting. No one apart from JvK came into the main discussion thread and advocated for the voting pool to be limited to those "re-educated" by Phil Schneider. Like, do you know what happens at Phil's re-education camps? We were made to watch Low Ki matches Clockwork Orange style until we start saying that he is a great wrestler. Why would you ask young eligible voters to go through that.

WWE TV 04/05 - 04/11 Eden Hazard has gone missing since 2018 what happened to him

Change.org petition to get Johnny Gargano to stop wrestling. Also, NXT might have actually lost the last day of the War despite presenting a Wrestlemania Takeover had the main event with Racquel Gonzales not gained an incredible number of viewers. They have something special in her -
Mox and Barnett had a ridiculously brutal and awesome match tonight

It's been a while since I watched NXT, the new commentary team is so much better since the dark days of Mauro -
I was reminded recently about the DX HoF speech where Gunn was present after having signed with AEW, and Hunter said he is working for a pissant company that Vince would end up buying. Nothing about this war has given me more personal satisfaction than HHH being exposed as a terrible booker and his reputation as future saviour of WWE was laughable. The fact that they literally represented a Takeover and still lost in the demo is revealing. I know it was simulcast with Peacock and that definitely played a factor, but come on, it's TakeOver Wrestlemania! They should have done one million viewers

The best thing about WALTER-Ciampa was that it ended with a fucking chop. I would take 20 pedigrees before I take one chop from fucking WALTER -
It would also be great if people who know lucha can help newbies to get on the path to watch lucha in context. One of the biggest disappointments of 2016 was how badly lucha wrestlers did. I think Casas was the only luchador in the top 25

Given how good Kingston has been and how great Brodie was in his brief AEW run, I also want to explore some classic CHIKARA

As far as which workers drop off, I agree that a lot of 80s JCP/US in general workers will suffer the most. Between the 2006 and 2016 GWE, all the DVDVR 80s sets had come out, a lot of people had both discovered and rediscovered the greatness of 80s territories, there had been a lot of podcasts focusing on them. I don't feel as if they will have the same hype this time around. One of the people I want to re-explore is Kurt Angle. Last time around, the biggest criticism was his lack of selling - and lack of any desire to ever sell - and just having long bombfests with constant reversals and finisher kickouts. However, that is clearly the trend wrestling has taken in the last 10 years, so maybe his 00s run won't look so bad in light of that.

WWF had plenty of blood and guts during the attitude era and they did fine with women. They had plenty of blood right till Benoit happened and kids and young female viewers increased from Hunter's horror run cuz they found John Cena. Historically, it's been about the main guy and the main feuds
-
We actually have evidence that Omega quarters lose young female viewers consistently. Combine that with the general correlation of viewership going down since Omega became champ, after a couple of weeks of interest in the Impact angle that has gone absolutely nowhere, yeah, I am going to place part of the blame on Omega for AEW losing viewership and momentum. Let us not forget that the main reason Meltzer has concluded that the reason for the decline in female viewership is the blood and violence is because he asked a bunch of his female friends and they said that's the reason. That's hardly some hardcore super-scientific analysis either
-
LMAO that's rich coming from you. Sorry you cannot handle any kind of criticism of your favourites. And I am sorry your favourites suck
-
There was plenty of blood and violence when Mox and Kingston were feuding too. It didn't make the female viewers tune out. I think Meltzer is focusing too much on that aspect, because he doesn't want to blame Omega. Ever since the show started revolving around him cutting shitty smug promos and doing putrid nauseating melodramatic angles with his equally terrible Elite buddies, AEW's ratings have declined considerably and the women have given up watching. I WONDER WHY HMM
-
I despise this. Fuck this shit
-
Watching all this shitty Elite melodrama, I just feel so so terrible, so bad for Mox. Dude deserves so much better than this

This will mean something to very few people, like @ButchReedMark and @ohtani's jacket and @Dav'oh, but of all things, this reminded me of when Andrew Strauss did not realise he was still on air while doing commentary for a special Lord's cricket match and called Kevin Pietersen a cunt on national TV -

Speaking of WWE's booking of their women, given the Wednesday Night Wars end tonight, I think it's fair to say that NXT lost the war when they failed to follow up on Rhea's title win. They should have made the entire show revolve around her after that. 1998 Steve Austin level -
Darby Allin is the fucking man

WALTER should honestly squash Ciampa in 2 mins -
Yeah and tbf to AEW, this one has more reason to happen than the original one had. That one was out of nowhere. This QT promo was whatever but for some reason I hate the fact that the term "vanilla midgets" was used on TV
-
Heel Jericho >>> Face Jericho, but as far as face Jericho promos go, that was one of the better ones. I actually don't remember the last face promo he cut as good as this. Low bar to clear cuz again face Jericho has never really worked, but still
-
I thought the match was very sloppy and went way too long. I like Hangman though. It looks like they might be building to an Omega-Page title match, and imo, they should pull the trigger on the title switch
-
It cannot be emphasised enough just how terrible these rappers are

He really should have done some iconic ad the way Macho did Slim Jim
