WWE TV 04/05 - 04/11 Eden Hazard has gone missing since 2018 what happened to him

Shit, wish I had seen this earlier, sorry dude -
God I hated that shit and will be petty and push him down one spot just for that. That will show him.

How much has Cena added since the last time? He has basically been retired for 2 years. However, his rep (and attachment and respect for him) seems to have grown quite a bit since 2016

As far as Matt's criticism of his selling goes, I think his selling is much better when he is a heel. I think a part of his selling as a face in WWE is due to the very patterned and stylized babyface comebacks of the style. Not excusing Bryan's role in it, but I also think he has risen above the style more than pretty much everyone there.

Come on, guys, the biggest wrestling event of the year is starting soon* and we don't want to discuss it? *If the huge thunderstorm approaching Tampa doesn't come back. It got really bad apparently for a while but seems to have passed for now

The Fiend thing is something that might have a section of fans defending it online, but it's exactly the kind of thing that would completely die live in front of the crowds. Most of the men audible on the show would almost certainly hate it, and would drown out everyone else overwhelmingly. -
On Grimmas's excellent opening podcast, it was mentioned that one of the criticisms about him was that he doesn't have some significant signature match to his name. Would you say he has any matches that would be on a list of the greatest matches of all time? I checked good brother @NintendoLogic 's Reawakening thread, and he has 1) v. Morishima 2007; 2) v. Sheamus 2 out of 3 falls 2012; 3) v. HHH 2014. Apart from these, I would also rate his Lesnar Survivor Series match, which is the first time I have seen a big man-little man worked that way, with the small still-face-but-turning guy being cocky and literally mocking the big monster heel, except the monster heel gets cheered anyway generally cuz he is so cool. I go back-and-forth in it, but maybe the Kofi match too, which went up several notches in its last 10 minutes, and by the time it ended, people were crying in the audience.

Becky Lynch Extremely short run, but she deserves consideration just for what she did in terms of forcing her way into a Wrestlemania main event, and becoming the first woman in WWE to be the top star of the company. She is not very athletic or fluid, but she is a very good ring general; she knows exactly where to be and how to keep the parts moving. She is also excellent at showing fire and wrestling like she is in the fight of her life. She is one of the best modern wrestlers at incorporating her character into her matches, which keeps the crowd with her. She has a special connection with the fans, which helps elevate her matches into being more memorable, something that stands out in current WWE. Becky Lynch v. Sasha Banks - NXT Unstoppable 2015 Becky Lynch v. Charlotte Flair Last Person Standing - Evolution 2018 Becky Lynch v. Sasha Banks Hell in a Cell - HitC 2019 Becky Lynch v. Asuka - Royal Rumble 2020

I think 6 PPVs in a year is perfectly reasonable. It will definitely give them more focus, and will also mean they can do more high-profile re-matches. Dave also mentioned how after Cody lost to MJF in a blood feud, he did not really try to get it back despite being a face.

Who is shitting on whom on Twitter? In any case, Twitter is a medium for shitposting. No one apart from JvK came into the main discussion thread and advocated for the voting pool to be limited to those "re-educated" by Phil Schneider. Like, do you know what happens at Phil's re-education camps? We were made to watch Low Ki matches Clockwork Orange style until we start saying that he is a great wrestler. Why would you ask young eligible voters to go through that.

Change.org petition to get Johnny Gargano to stop wrestling. Also, NXT might have actually lost the last day of the War despite presenting a Wrestlemania Takeover had the main event with Racquel Gonzales not gained an incredible number of viewers. They have something special in her -
Mox and Barnett had a ridiculously brutal and awesome match tonight

It's been a while since I watched NXT, the new commentary team is so much better since the dark days of Mauro -
I was reminded recently about the DX HoF speech where Gunn was present after having signed with AEW, and Hunter said he is working for a pissant company that Vince would end up buying. Nothing about this war has given me more personal satisfaction than HHH being exposed as a terrible booker and his reputation as future saviour of WWE was laughable. The fact that they literally represented a Takeover and still lost in the demo is revealing. I know it was simulcast with Peacock and that definitely played a factor, but come on, it's TakeOver Wrestlemania! They should have done one million viewers

The best thing about WALTER-Ciampa was that it ended with a fucking chop. I would take 20 pedigrees before I take one chop from fucking WALTER -
It would also be great if people who know lucha can help newbies to get on the path to watch lucha in context. One of the biggest disappointments of 2016 was how badly lucha wrestlers did. I think Casas was the only luchador in the top 25

Given how good Kingston has been and how great Brodie was in his brief AEW run, I also want to explore some classic CHIKARA

As far as which workers drop off, I agree that a lot of 80s JCP/US in general workers will suffer the most. Between the 2006 and 2016 GWE, all the DVDVR 80s sets had come out, a lot of people had both discovered and rediscovered the greatness of 80s territories, there had been a lot of podcasts focusing on them. I don't feel as if they will have the same hype this time around. One of the people I want to re-explore is Kurt Angle. Last time around, the biggest criticism was his lack of selling - and lack of any desire to ever sell - and just having long bombfests with constant reversals and finisher kickouts. However, that is clearly the trend wrestling has taken in the last 10 years, so maybe his 00s run won't look so bad in light of that.

WWF had plenty of blood and guts during the attitude era and they did fine with women. They had plenty of blood right till Benoit happened and kids and young female viewers increased from Hunter's horror run cuz they found John Cena. Historically, it's been about the main guy and the main feuds
-
We actually have evidence that Omega quarters lose young female viewers consistently. Combine that with the general correlation of viewership going down since Omega became champ, after a couple of weeks of interest in the Impact angle that has gone absolutely nowhere, yeah, I am going to place part of the blame on Omega for AEW losing viewership and momentum. Let us not forget that the main reason Meltzer has concluded that the reason for the decline in female viewership is the blood and violence is because he asked a bunch of his female friends and they said that's the reason. That's hardly some hardcore super-scientific analysis either
