  1. At this point all he has to do is throw on a dress and he could be passed off as Triple H's grandmother.
  2. "Clearly we need to quickly re-evaluate the economics and viability of their business with us, as it now appears the WWE feels they do not need their PPV distributors," DirecTV said in a statement, adding that the audience for its events "has been steadily declining, and this new low-cost competitive offering will only accelerate this trend." http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/envel...y#axzz2q0aH1oie
  3. I love this moment from WOR. The Frugal Canadian.
  4. The FAQ says: Seems contractual.
  5. Honestly, I hope there's a way to avoid the HD side bars you get when viewing SD footage like ECW. It'd be nice to view that without having the giant WWE text on the side.
  6. PPVs are still being shown through traditional cable outlets. I haven't had it in years, but I recall Wrestlemania appearing on 24/7 on demand a few months after it's airing too. It all depends on how you promote it.
  7. Funny how Cena and Austin had to dress up, but Shawn and Hunter got to act like asses in jeans and merchandise. Well, Austin looked like he just came from a beach wedding, but he was still dressed more formally than usual.
  8. http://www.prowrestling.net/artman/publish...e10035184.shtml Here's an FAQ. Not a super big thing, but a nice one. Whenever blood is shown on the PG channels, the entire screen became greyed out.
  9. Was he advertised or is that just a reference to his last company appearance?
  10. Oh, it's still a pretty good deal. It's just how they snuck it in. Also, I hope Vince is blowing a gasket over "WW Network".
  11. Oop! $9.99 *w/ 6 month commitment fine print sighting!
  12. I actually thought it was amusing, if it were at the Slammys or a house show. Doing it in front of what's supposed to be a huge media launch? Hard to argue that's not damning.

Biggest crime is how hurt Big E. is. You just want to cradle him in your arms, telling him it's going to be alright.
  14. Hmm? It's more or less a Patrick Bateman gimmick. I know. I'm saying he's doing it poorly. When he's staring at her, it doesn't come across as him thinking about all of the terrible things he wants to do to her, but like he's nervous that he's going to be turned down for a date. I came across an old match that Bateman had against Ryback. I think they could have something if they push him as "All Natural" Ethan Carter III. Kind of like a Scott Steiner for 2010 and beyond.
  15. This guy? Seems less serial killer, more "afraid to ask popular girl out to the prom". Creepy is the camera guy in this skit near the end. The ECIII guy is okay if really generic. The only good thing about him when he was Derrick Batman was his valet, Maxine. Honestly, I want the old TNA back. It was so fun to watch them throw so much shit at the wall despite none of it ever sticking. So much better than watching them die a slow death.

Twitter is a tremendous thing. Batista does the wonderful "my (future) opponent is a nobody" that's made so many people care about feuds. So Alberto responds by basically calling him a steroid-using asshole.
  17. Wait what? Have I even interacted with Dylan at all? I just thought it was funny that you made a twitter post trying to get support. I've been around these boards for a while and it seemed like that kind of passive aggressive "who me?" kind of trolling you do/did on DVDVR and the F4W board.

It comes from one of their web shows where the talent tend to fuck around because the higher ups don't pay attention to it and it was still pretty bad. It's shorter, but the hammy delivery was still there. Also, people who say the writing is completely to blame for stilted acting need to watch some of the web shows. Things are a lot more loose and a lot of talent are still pretty bad at the whole promo thing.

It makes sense. He looks like a prisoner and the match apparently consists of Bryan willingly letting Wyatt dominate him. Not sure what makes that seem like it's going downhill. If it ends with Cena somehow making him come to his senses, it'll suck, but it's nice to see a main event babyface character with some failings. Hopefully it leads to Bryan breaking free and handing Bray his first loss or defeat.
  22. I'm not trying to say Bryan is some kind of intentionally bad influence, but whenever Meltzer is interviewed or talks wrestling with someone else, he really does come across much more positive and differently. I should have put current day wrestling. While I understand that modern stateside wrestling can be frustrating, I just don't think it's as bad as they make it seem to be at times.
  23. So evilclown is actually Rob Feinstein, paedophile, not Jon Snowden, MMA writer?
