Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling
LowBlowPodcast replied to SirEdger's topic in Promotions
I agree. This is a small time promotion with major league players and some good angles moving forward. The flavor of the promotion is beyond unique which sets you apart from everyone else. Looking forward to our continued work together and the stars to come out of Lutte. -
Might as well ask for Andre on the 4th, 5th, and 6th for the WWF to build up to the big weekend for him. Thanks!
-
Kurt Von Hess, Baron Mikel Scicluna, & Joe Apollo all sign with the WWF as a jobber pack.
-
Okay fellas, July 1st has come. We all get a +1 with our rosters. Like we have stated before, this +1 can be for a wrestler, a manager, or a jobber pack. I will update free agency as people add if you'd like.

WWF Superstars Vince McMahon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from Poughkeepsie, NY – Mid-Hudson Civic Center Vince McMahon: Welcome everyone to Superstars of Wrestling! I am Vince McMahon alongside Jesse the Body Ventura and Jesse, history was made last night in Houston! Jesse: You’ve got that right McMahon…we may have saw the end of Ricky the Dragon Steamboat! Vince: I hope that isn’t true. We are going to go through all of that in the event center here shortly, plus we will have footage of the big six-man tag team main event contest from that event! Jesse: I was there and saw it all go down… there’s no way that Ricky Steamboat is wrestling again… and Killer Khan can put him on his mantle like a trophy! Vince: Please Jesse, have some decorum… Jesse: What in the hell does that mean McMahon… Vince: Show some respect… Jesse: Just like the queen says… RESPECT find out what it means to ME! Vince: PLEASE! Here is a man who has respect for AMERICA… it is Hacksaw Jim Duggan! Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Dominic DeNucci -A fun kick off here for Duggan who has already gotten over with the fans. He is nothing but a barroom brawler and the fans love him for it. He has got the 2x4 in his corner but also the adoration of thousands of fans. Jesse wonders what these people are thinking cheering for him and McMahon says he is the heart of America… Jesse says he is thankful he isn’t the brains! We see the flying clothesline for the 1…2…3 and Duggan stands tall! McMahon puts over how he will be in the world title tournament and if he keeps up the momentum he will have a great chance to win it all! Jesse laughs it off and says he should step in… McMahon challenges him too! *COMMERCIAL* WWF Event Center Vince is in the event center putting over all the happenings from last night’s Houston. He talks about the vicious attack on Ricky Steamboat. He talks about the World Title tournament and puts over the names involved already… Roddy Piper, Ted Dibiase, Randy Savage, Hacksaw Duggan, Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy, Dick Slater & Cowboy Bob Orton. Vince then puts over the new names; Killer Khan, Sgt. Slaughter, Tony Atlas, and Ricky Steamboat. Vince talks about how the WWF board is looking into the actions of Killer Khan and they may pull him from the tournament. They are waiting to hear back from the doctors on the condition of Ricky Steamboat. Vince warns the fans and says that children may not be able to see this content…viewer discretion is advised… {We cut to footage from Houston last night with the “Texas Death Match” and Killer Khan vs Ricky Steamboat. We see both men bloodied and then the big moment when Killer Khan rams some kind of a pole into Steamboat’s throat! Steamboat goes down and then Khan applies that nerve hold to his throat and Steamboat is shown spitting up blood as the crowd is going nuts! We see officials and agents run down and pull back Khan as blood is all over his arm. Steamboat is stretchered out with the dreaded RED X over the bloody part of his face.} McMahon is back in the event center putting this through the roof. He then turns his attention to the issue with Lord Alfred Hayes and Davey Boy Smith. He puts over the angle and then shows the footage… {We cut to the ring with Lord Alfred Hayes in the ring with a very young William Regal. He talks about how Regal is from England and one of the brightest young talents in the world. He put over how he has traveled to Japan, Germany, China, and Russian to learn how to be the absolute best in the world and he will get there. Davey Boy comes out and Regal offers him an opportunity to team with Regal and “ride his coattails” to success he would never have dreamed of. He talks about how Lord Alfred has scouted the best English talent in the world and that Regal was number one and Davey was number two and he wants to put them together. Davey gets kind of tired of hearing it and says he doesn’t need a “slimy manager to steal his money!” Regal can’t believe it as Regal goes to throw a punch but Davey blocks it and he NAILS him him with a big right hand! The Barbarian and Viking are here! They run into the ring and Davey is trying to fight them off to no avail. It is a 3 on 1 beatdown here as Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart run out to the ring! We get a nice little brawl before Lord Alfred pulls his men out. Gorilla and Heenan put this over in a big way. Heenan says that Smith made the biggest mistake of his life but Gorilla says he has turned the corner and found some real friends!} Vince is back and he puts over the big card in Los Angeles tonight. MAIN EVENT Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Roddy Piper INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Rick Martel © vs Big John Studd w/ Bobby Heenan TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Tony Atlas & Sgt. Slaughter vs The Russians © PLUS Hacksaw Duggan vs Ted Dibiase Steve Williams & Mike Rotundo vs King Kong Bundy & Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan Brutus Beefcake vs Hercules w/ Bobby Heenan *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Jesse putting over the world title tournament and says that Killer Khan should be able to stay in. He is a competitor and will do anything to win! McMahon puts his actions down and wonders if anyone can control him inside the ring or outside. They put over the Lord Alfred issue and talk about the Missing Link. The Missing Link w/ Lord Alfred Hayes defeated SD Jones -The Link is one weird dude. Outside of his green face and crazy mannerisms, he is devastating in the ring. Jesse puts over how there are four spots remaining in the world title tournament and Link could be one of the long shots to win it all! We see the Link with a diving headbutt on Jones tonight for the 1…2…3! He works the crowd as Hayes puts over just how crazy he is and tells Davey Boy Smith to watch out! *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Vince and Jesse putting over next week’s Wrestling Challenge. They put over how Ivan Putski has found a partner in Brutus Beefcake and they will face Rick Rude and Hercules next week with the winners going on to get spots in the world title tournament. The final qualifier will be a 20-man battle royal with such names as Mike Rotundo, Steve Williams, the Missing Link, Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Krusher Kruschev, and others! Jesse says it is going to be a fighting to see who gets that final spot. McMahon says the brackets will be released next week on Superstars. They put over two men who are already in the tournament, Dick Slater and Bob Orton as we cut to the ring! Bob Orton Jr & Dick Slater defeated Victor & Jose Rivera -Cowyboy Bob and Dirty Dick are really showing off some skills here tonight. They work over the Riveras and make it look easy. Jesse says he would love to see these two get a tag title shot but wouldn’t be surprised to see them win their way up against one another in the world title tournament. McMahon puts them over as strong contenders as well. *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with McMahon and Jesse putting over the big night in Houston. They talk about Ricky Steamboat being hurt, but also the possible injuries to Uncle Elmer and Hillbilly Jim at the hands of King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd! We cut to footage from the big six-man tag main event last night as McMahon and Jesse put over the injuries and we see the fall out! MAIN EVENT – From Houston Ted Dibiase, Big John Studd, & King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Randy Savage, Hillbilly Jim, & Uncle Elmer w/ Miss Elizabeth -A HOT main event in Houston with Dibiase getting some nice heat on Savage after he goes after Elizabeth! Randy Savage is a mad man out there but he falls prey to the bigger and stronger team of Studd and Bundy. The “injuries” we see are Bobby Heenan having Elmer chase him around the ring but then Studd coming and clipping his knee and Elmer going down hard and he is unable to get up for so many reasons… the next one sees a 3 on 2 in which they tie up Savage in the ropes and then Studd and Dibiase hold Hillbilly Jim down for Bundy to land 3 big splashes on his ribs. Vince and Jesse put over how they may have broke his ribs! The trio then turns its attention to Savage but we see Hacksaw Duggan, Tony Atlas, and Andre the Giant come out and chase off the heels. Savage then gets up on the rope and jumps off with a double axe-handle on them as the crowd goes absolutely nuts!

I've got another crazy week... WWF is all up to date for the week, hope everyone enjoys the end of June and beginning of July!
-
Was able to get everything up to date and got July started... everyone enjoy! Hopefully the format works well for the house show loop and then the television tapings/big shows on the weekends. I am probably going too fantasy on the idea of producing a show with footage from the previous night the next day in 1984... but it is fantasy wrestling for a reason...
-
Because I am a stickler, I moved the Superstars to WWF on Tour July 1984 since it would have technically aired in July. Sorry for being OCD.

WWF Wrestling Challenge Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby The Brain Heenan in studio Matches from Poughkeepsie, NY – Mid-Hudson Civic Center Gorilla: Welcome everyone to Wrestling Challenge! I am Gorilla Monsoon alongside Bobby the Brain Heenan and Brain you are just glowing! Heenan: That’s right Monsoon! I told you last week and you saw the news… I’ve got Bundy and Studd in the tournament… Gorilla: How about Rude and Hercules? Heenan: I am working on it! Gorilla: Oh yeah… what’s that little box for? Heenan: This right here… this is the box I am going to put the Intercontinental Championship into! Gorilla: What are you talking about… Heenan: I am talking about tomorrow night in Los Angeles… the Intercontinental Championship is going to be mine because Big John Studd is going to challenge and then defeated Rick Martel! Gorilla: PLEASE! Martel has seen tougher challengers than Studd… Heenan: But none bigger! Gorilla: We will see how that works out for you… right now we’ve got the Intercontinental Champion in action, let’s go to the ring! Rick Martel defeated Brady Boone -A great showcase as we even get an inset promo from Martel who puts himself over and other Canadian athletes. He talks about the IC title and how he will defend it against anyone. He says he will be in Los Angeles tomorrow night and he is going to show Big John Studd why he is one of the best in the world! Inside the ring here tonight, we see him work over Brady Boone and finish him off with the Boston Crab. Heenan says there is no way he will be able to get it on John Studd. Gorilla doesn’t disagree and says there are 1,000 ways to skin a cat… or a weasel! *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Bobby talking about the tag team titles. They put over the Russians and talk about the feud with them and Steve Williams & Mike Rotundo. They talk about them challenging the Russians and coming up close and think that tonight in Houston may be the night they get the titles. Heenan says he has got the team of Studd and Bundy and they would love a chance at the titles. We cut to the ring for tag team action. Steve Williams & Mike Rotundo defeated The Invaders -Williams and Rotundo are really coming into their own. Gorilla and Bobby put over their amateur backgrounds but wonder how that will translate into a hard fought fight with the Russians. Gorilla says they will hold their own and Heenan thinks they will buckle with the pressure. Inside we see Williams with a nasty German Suplex on Invader #2 when Rotundo nails him with a flying clothesline for the 1…2…3!! Williams and Rotundo work the crowd. *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Bobby talking about Randy Savage and Ted Dibiase. They put over the feud and Heenan puts down Elizabeth as a manager and you can’t trust a woman to do a man’s job. It is clearly sexist and Monsoon is giving him the business talking about how Elizabeth is going to lead Savage to the title! Heenan says he can’t wait to see it but he is going to have to wait in line until his men get the title first! Heenan puts over Rick Rude in a big way as we cut to the ring! Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Johnny Rodz -Rick Rude is really coming into his own. He is slowly becoming more methodical and disastrous in the ring. He beats the piss out of Rodz and we see some nice power moves including a piledriver that looks to just shake Rodz’ spine. He picks him up for the Rude Awakening for the 1…..2….3! Rude celebrates as Heenan puts him over in the biggest way! *COMMERCIAL* -WC returns with Gorilla and Bobby continuing to discuss managers. They put over Lord Alfred Hayes and his stable of talent. They put over the Barbarian, the Viking, Missing Link, and William Regal. Gorilla even says that he has been seen with Killer Khan but nothing has been finalized yet. They put over how Lord Alfred wanted an answer from Davey Boy Smith about joining him as we cut to the ring! {We cut to the ring with Lord Alfred Hayes in the ring with a very young William Regal. Heenan says that Smith made the biggest mistake of his life but Gorilla says he has turned the corner and found some real friends!} *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Heenan putting over the Lord Alfred angle in a huge way. They put over the potential six-man tag and wonder what Sgt. Slaughter who has been feuding with Lord Alfred thinks about it. Heenan says he should not bother with those young punks. Gorilla then turns his attention to the strength and power of Hercules vs Ivan Putski. Heenan puts over how Hercules is indeed the strongest man in the WWF and Putski is going to figure that out. We cut to the ring for this big main event. MAIN EVENT Ivan Putski vs Hercules w/ Bobby Heenan -A big time main event here as Putski, who is at the end of his road as a performer, still has some name value and makes Hercules look and feel a little more special than he is. This is a bearded, wild-man, looking Hercules too as he looks like an animal. Both of these guys do some fun power work but the match itself isn’t incredible by any sense of the word. We see Hercules rule the match but here comes Putski with some big power moves and he has Hercules waining. He looks to finish him with a bearhug but here comes Rick Rude! Rude comes out and NAILS Putski in the back and he hammers down on him! Hercules and Rude are working him over in a bad way. Rude picks him up for the Rude Awakening! Hercules then picks him up for the FULL NELSON! Hercules is out on his feet as agents run down to the ring to break it up! Rude and Hercules look great here as Bobby puts them through the roof and Gorilla says they will get what is coming to them soon enough!

I think it is set with those moves.
-
They expire and go back to Southeastern. Sutton has not jumped on the board to get going yet... I will double check with him again and we will see what his plan is...
-
I updated the Database and the Free Agency wire, please let me know if there is anything I need to fix.
-
Ok, check everything out now and let me know what else needs to be fixed.
-
Can the WWF have Andre on the 7th and 8th and then 21st and then 28th and 29th?
-
Just a heads up on a couple of things... I will be out of town for the next couple of days but will have access via my phone but my shows are posted so no worries there. It looks like we will have some help with the freelance, so right now we could just say July - Kevin August - Edgar Sept - Patrick Oct - LowBlow Then if others want to join in we will just go from there. Remember that July 1st everyone gets a PLUS 1 on their roster for a total of 41 spots. I still don't have a confirmation from Sutten on his taking over Southeastern but perhaps by July 1st we will have a solid yes/no and then go from there. Have a great weekend fellas!
-
Well this whole thing kind of went to hell in a handbasket with some people quitting. I have no problem keeping up with Freelancers unless we'd like to even it out. If you'd like to volunteer to pick up a month, post it here. We will try and figure it out from there.

The Intercontinental Championship! Gino Hernandez… you walked around like you were something special, well brother you WERE but now you are just a challenger! I am the champion! I told the world it would happen and here it is! Everyone knows that this is the hardest working title in the sport and I plan on defending it every chance I get. Tonight in Philadelphia, I am going to show everyone why I am the champion and remind you why I beat you for the title! Gino Hernandez: Rick Martel, you should be arrested for theft! You stole my title last night! It makes me sick to my stomach that I had to come to Canada of all places and then I had to face you in your hometown… it made me sick. Someone must have poisoned my food cuz I wasn’t feeling good when the bell rang. You have someone set me up. It is a conspiracy! Tonight all the wrongs will be right… I am getting my title back in Philadelphia and there is nothing you can do about it! Ted Dibiase: Randy Savage, the time has come for one of us to succumb to the other and quite frankly, I am too good to do so and that means you are gonna go down. The WWF decided they were tired of seeing me beat you every night so tonight I get to do it twice but my good friend Roddy Piper gets to join me! You and that cross-eyed freak Duggan are going to find out why money can by anything and there is no better team in the world that Piper and Dibiase! Randy Savage: Ohhh yeaaahhhh. They put that over and cut to the main event… Sgt. Slaughter vs The Viking w/ Lord Alfred Hayes -A prime time contest with Sgt. Slaughter who is WAY over right now as he is going head to head with the Viking (John Nord). Viking is very green and looks to potato the hell out of the Sarge who is fighting back with everything he has got. Hayes is a mastermind outside the ring putting his man over and Jesse says he is right up there with Heenan as the brightest managers in wrestling. Vince of course puts over Elizabeth. Inside the ring we get a nice 8-minute bout but in the end all hell breaks loose. We see the Barbarian and Missing Link come down and they pounce on Sarge to give him the DQ victory but then the crowd erupts when Davey Boy Smith runs down to the ring! WWF NEWS Reports are coming out of the WWF that Vince McMahon has been VERY positive of the return of the WWF. The market is strong right now and the company has been happy with attendance numbers on their first route through the territory. The WWF plans to visit these towns once every month and a half along with keeping up the weekend cycle to hit those towns almost monthly. With the two split shows, it has been good to see nice houses at each and the boys are getting a little break when it comes to Mondays and televisions. Television ratings have been good thus far with Superstars being a hit. Wrestling Challenge is going against Saturday morning cartoons, but the WWF is looking to amp up the show and make it "must see" in the future. Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan are doing most of the post production work from Stamford during the week while Jesse Ventura and Vince McMahon do their post production during the television tapings. There is even talk of expanding the shows to 90-minutes after the summer run if the shows continue to show progress. The two show loops have been successful and capitalized on some hot feuds in the WWF. One interesting thing is that Randy Savage vs Ted Dibiase was swapped to the A shows and Ricky Steamboat vs Killer Khan was dropped to the B show for next week's loop. No word on why, but with Dibiase vs Savage in a Cage and Steamboat vs Khan in a Texas Death, perhaps the houses will be popped due to the gimmick. WWF will be going into Houston next week and there are some serious mixed feelings. The local line up shows a Texas Death Match with Killer Khan vs Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper vs Andre the Giant, Tag Titles 2/3 Falls Williams and Rotundo challenging The Russians, and a big six-man with Dibiase, Studd, & Bundy vs Savage, Hillbilly Jim, & Uncle Elmer. We will see how the crew stacks up with the USWA likely to run something in the area the night before or going head to head in San Antonio. Expansion is the word and Vince McMahon already has his eyes set on moving in to Ohio. McMahon currently has a loop through the Northeast with Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania in the loop and McMahon is looking to move father into Ohio and possibly into West Virginia. Word has it that McMahon has already sought out some "Southeastern Regional Talent" if you will who could come in and help the WWF draw in those areas. Expect the World Title Tournament to be the focus of the WWF throughout the month of July as it stats on the 21st in Toronto. It will last 4 weeks, culminating in Madison Square Garden (of course). I am told that McMahon will announce four more names this week on Superstars and then eight more over the next two weeks to finalize. No word on the bracket yet either as they are keeping this VERY close to the chest.
