So since St. Louis is back open... would it be too much for the WWF to move into St. Louis for television tapings as it was in real life?
-
This is kind of a trade too but just stay with me... 1. The Missing Link has finished his dates with the WWF and has decided to stay in Toronto and go to Lutte 2. Hector Guerrero moves into Missing Link's spot on the roster 3. Baron Mikel has retired and only has like 3-4 matches in the future so he has since been removed. 4. The WWF is signing Big Fred Ottman and putting him in a jobber pack

I am Gorilla Monsoon alongside Bobby the Brain Heenan. Brain, tomorrow is the big day for your boys in the World Title Tournament! Heenan: Oh Monsoon… you don’t even know. I have brokered deals… I have signed contracts… tomorrow is going to be a HUGE day for the Heenan Family! Gorilla: I think Sgt. Slaughter and Tony Atlas are going to have a thing or two to say about that. Fans, the World Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Championship Tournament starts tonight and what a night it is going to be in Toronto. Heenan: You’ve got that right… tonight in Toronto history is going to be made… Gino Hernandez is going to win back the Intercontinental Championship! Gorilla: Don’t count those chickens before they hatch… Rick Martel is a great champion and I have no doubt he will walk out with the gold tonight. Fans we have got a prime time contest to get us going this week… it is Davey Boy Smith vs William Regal! Let’s go to the ring! Davey Boy Smith vs William Regal w/ Lord Alfred Hayes -This match is seen one more time and this time Davey is pretty handedly able to take apart William Regal. Lord Alfred is just screaming at Regal and we see Davey Boy finishing things off with the big POWERSLAM for the 1…2…3! We see Davey leave the ring as Lord Alfred comes in and he is not alone. Here comes the Barbarian, The Viking, and The Missing Link! It is a 3 on 1 beatdown! Gorilla and Heenan put it over as the crowd then pops when Davey Boy runs back out but he is not alone… THAT’S THE DYNAMITE KID! Gorilla exclaims that the British Bulldogs are HERE! They battle off Lord Alfred’s Army and help up Regal. Davey Boy and Dynamite help up Regal who shows his gratitude. *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Heenan putting over the arrival of Dynamite Kid and William Regal’s actions. Heenan puts over Lord Alfred for his choice and Gorilla says it is going to be a big one when they do battle tomorrow night on Superstars in six-man action! They turn their attention to the Family and Heenan says that he has got the surprise of a lifetime but he is going to wait until the right time to deliver on it. Gorilla says he is full of it as we go to the ring. Rick Rude defeated Shawn Michaels -A fun showcase contest for Rick Rude who looks very good tonight. We get a scary moment through when Rude comes off the top rope for a punch to the skull but he lands very bad on his knee. Rude is writhing in pain but he gets up and is able to finish the match with the Rude Awakening for the 1…2…3! Rude is in a bad way… *COMMERCIAL* -WC is back with Gorilla and Heenan putting over the injury to Rick Rude. Heenan says that Rude tore some ligaments in his knee and would be taking some time off. He puts over how there is an injury clause in his contract and with the money he made off of letting Rude go, he was able to cash in for his “BIG SURPRISE.” Gorilla still says he is full of it as they turn their attention to the tag team titles. They put over the Cage Match tomorrow night in Philly and Gorilla says that there is no way he would ever want to be locked inside a steel cage with the Koloffs, especially Nikita. Heenan talks about the experience of the Briscoess and says that experience only lasts so long against talent like Nikita. He talks about Ivan being a former world champion and that will be all that is needed for him to win the tag titles one more time! They talk about the team that is next in line… Cowboy Bob and Dirty Dick Slater… they are in action. Cowboy Boy Orton & Dick Slater defeated Barry Horowitz & Brady Boone -A nice contest for Bob and Dick who have turned into one of the premiere tag teams in all of wrestling right now. Bobby Heenan drops a little nutshell and says that Slater and Orton were in talks with him for management but there was someone else who came in at the last minute and possibly signed the deal. In the end we see the SPIKE PILEDRIVER for the 1…2…3 and that’s all she wrote. Orton and Slater may be next in line but when will they get the shot? *COMMERCIAL* EVENT CENTER Mean Gene: Welcome everyone to the WWF Event Center I am Gene Okerlund. It is a pleasure to be here with the World Wrestling Federation and bringing you all the latest news in the WWF. We hear from both men regarding the big contest this evening in Toronto! Gino Hernandez: For a month I have been away from that Intercontinental Championship. Rick Martel, unlike last time, I am prepared for our match tonight and brother lemme tell you something right now I am going to take what is mine! For a month people have asked me when I am going to get it back and brother tonight is the night. I am leaving Toronto with the gold and there is NOTHING you can do about it! Rick Martel: Gino Hernandez, I sometimes wonder if you are a hot air balloon with all the hot air you blow. There is no doubt that you are a good wrestler, but you cannot beat me and you will not beat me! Tonight, I am wrestling in front of all my hometown fans and I am going to defend this title for each and every one of them! WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS Mean Gene puts over the World Tag Team Title contest tomorrow night in Philadelphia as it will be a STEEL CAGE match between The Briscoess and the Russians but this time it will be Ivan and Nikita! He talks about his history in the WWF and in Japan. Mean Gene puts over his experience and says he is one of the top talents in the world. He looks for him to challenge for a title in the not too distant future. *COMMERCIAL* -Gorilla and Bobby are back putting over the arrival of the British Bulldogs and then the arrival of the Masked Superstar. They then talk about a big return next week as The SUPERFLY Jimmy Snuka will be right here on Wrestling Challenge in action! They put over the big world title tournament in Toronto tonight and the other opening round action in Philly tomorrow night. They talk about the main event for Superstars being the big six-man tag with the British Bulldogs and William Regal taking on Lord Alfred’s Army! They talk about the big IC title match tonight as we cut to the ring for the IC Champion in action! Rick Martel defeated Dominic DeNucci -Bobby and Gorilla really put over the big match tonight with Gino Hernandez. Martel looks incredible tonight and handles DeNucci with no issue as he locks him in the Boston Crab and it is all over. Gorilla says he is the IC champion and not even Gino Hernandez can change that! Gorilla and Heenan put over the action and talk about tomorrow’s big Superstars with results from tonight’s World Title Tournament action!

Thanks for the kind words Gene, i feel like I am just getting into a groove with this roster and making some moves to put it right where I want it for the foreseeable future. I will continue to put out the best effort I can with these guys, they deserve it.

IIRC, the reason that Regal was allowed in the first place was that one of the promoters wanted to bring him in as a rookie and slowly bring him up. That promoter left soon after, so we will never know how that would have played out. Exactly... I mean you see pictures from him in 1984 and he doesn't have a WWF look. He has a good exit this weekend in my shows but I just could justify him.

Gosh you have formed a great Memphis roster here. I think this is the most authentic roster we have. I am interested in seeing Brad and Bob do work with Lawler, Dutch, and Dundee along with the Rock N Roll Express. It is a very powerful group of babyfaces and the heels can come in and out with no questions asked. Great stuff. -
Arn and Eaton is a great young tag team at this time. I think if they are kept together, they will without a doubt go down as one of the best... it is just going to take a little time. Good stuff!
-
Mando Guerrero is coming to the WWF in exchange for William Regal -Regal is so young in 1984... I tried to push him with Hayes, but I just don't know if it would work out in the long run in 1984.

Yeah that is the way most of us started. But I think it makes you better in the long run... you make the most of what you've got and build your special characters from there. This is a very solid start and will serve as a strong foundation for you to build from in the future. And yes, I was talking about the presentation of the text in your program. Something as simple as BOLDING THE MATCHES or ITALICIZING THE DETAILS OF A MATCH can go a long way... or even add SOME COLOR but it all comes down to you to help the person read the show. -
Yeah... it is John Nord but I like the idea of teaming The Barbarian and The Viking

WWF NEWS World Title Tournament -There is said to be a lot of excitement about the tournament over the next couple of weeks. Opening round matches will take place on 7/21 in Toronto and 7/22 in Philadelphia. The second round will be on 7/28 in Houston and 7/29 in Los Angeles. The Semi Finals will be on 8/4 in East Rutherford and then the finals the next day, 8/5 in New York at Madison Square Garden. Some don't see the value in marketing a world title match with no participants but the WWF solidly believes that the show will draw and will start to build the undercard up as soon as wrestlers are dropped from the tournament. New Faces -There are a lot of new faces coming around in the WWF. Masked Superstar is back with the company following a lengthy run in Japan. Superstar still has Japanese dates but will continue to have a home in the WWF when he comes back. The Dynamite Kid also returned to the company and is expected to join up with Davey Boy Smith as the British Bulldogs. Superfly Jimmy Snuka also returned to the promotion and signed a contract. He was already on the road this week in Six-Man Tags and looks to be a prominent part of the future. Jimmy Hart was signed as the 4th manager on the roster. Some feel as though that is too much but many agree with the old school concept of every heel has a manager. No word on who Hart will manage but Bob Orton Jr is expected to be a big name on the block. Dory Funk Jr and Nick Bockwinkel were also around WWF offices but neither has yet to signed a contract. Some has said that Bockwinkel refuses to sign due to him being the former WWF Champion and Vince Jr not recognizing it. Dory may not sign due to some complications with his independent Amarillo promotion. The WWF also signed two young enhancement talents, Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels. They are said to be good looking young kids who will make heels look like monsters and have some work to do before they can go on their own. WWF & Lutte -The WWF is said to be very happy with their Lutte International agreement. The Maple Leaf Garden show this weekend is already sold out. Word has it that Vince McMahon is looking to put together a closed circuit joint show or something to be able to put on tape. McMahon is said to be high on putting together a special gimmick show... but nothing has come from that yet. WWF & Memphis -Vince McMahon also met with Jerry Jarrett this week and talked about some possibilities to sharing talent. Word has it that even Jimmy Hart may go right to Memphis instead of coming up the WWF. Some believe that Jerry Jarrett is high on getting Jerry Lawler on WWF television to give CWA a rub, but word on the other side is that McMahon won't do it as long as they are associated with the USWA with whom McMahon views as competition.

You have really got a hold of the MACW territory and I loved seeing the Bash tour. Blanchard as Mr. Money was perfect and now with jj Dillon coming in, I hope Tully Blanchard enterprises can make its triumphant return. You've got the World Tag Team Champions coming in to top it all off... it is going to be some great stuff to watch unfold. -

I am very impressed with your start. I look forward to the next four weeks and what you can come up with. We are all willing to help at that point as soon as you get on your feet. The only thing I would have to build on is the formatting of the shows and using fonts and such. I would suggest writing in word and then copy and paste into the board... that will allow you some freedom when formatting. -

CWA continues to roll along and I like seeing the difference between Lawler here and Lawler in USWA. It is a great use of him as a worker and character. I think you have got some serious contenders coming up through the rankings and still think there is huge future with your recent signings of the Rock n Roll, Dundee, Landell, and even Adrian Street who will all prove to be special and valuable members of the roster. -
A true spectacle on July 4th. I will be honest, I felt bad for posting Hulks debut in anticipation of this show and you delivered. I like what the AWA has in store for the future right now and have no doubts in Ricky Steamboat being the diamond in the rough and a true figurehead for your company if you go that route... if not, there are plenty to work with... like Tito Santana who I value just as much as Steamboat. He has got a fire and passion unlike most others and he will be at home there. You've also got Orndorff who is without a doubt one of the most underrated men and is set to have a huge 1984 going into 1985!

Lutte kicks it in to gear in July and I think there are some big things in August on tap. I look forward to our joint productions and what they will mean to both products. I like your short simple write ups with the house shows and the detail of television. You've done well so far especially with the formatting. Great stuff buddy.

Such an immense amount of talent in that main event segment. Lawler vs Rhodes is truly a main event if there ever was one. You have done wonders with the USWA. I am excited to see how it shapes from the draft... you have all the pieces to make it a powerhouse in the long run.
