NWAClassics.com really has become a Wrestling History Preservation project. And days like today make it all worthwhile. My office got a call today from out of the blue . . . from Nick Kozak! He has subscribed to the network - he saw his match against Bull Ramos - and he wanted us to direct him to other matches in which he was involved. He LOVES the NWAClassics.com digital television network - and to hear compliments from one of the participants in the matches was such an honor. Got a similar call from JJ Dillon last week talking about Moondog Maybe and his "Bathtub Match" against Paul Boesch. If we can at least express some thanks and gratitude to those who paved the way for us - and honor them - all the hard work on NWAClassics.com has been worth it.

Just to let everyone know - I haven't been on here as much this week - because I'm still recovering from jet lag. Seriously - I have realized that multiple trips to Japan takes a major toll on the body. Plus - Tiger Mask IV hit me with a flying cross body from the ring apron - and I'm here to tell you that no matter what anybody says about wrestling being predetermined - any bump like that hurts. Especially at my age. Hope you enjoy the Harley Race - Gino Hernandez NWA World Title Match. We have BIG things coming for NWAClassics.com so stay tuned. Can't make any disclosures yet - but it's going to be big.

I am back from Japan guys - literally just walked in the door. Had a very enjoyable 6-day tour and felt that Steve Anthony did well against Tiger Mask. I will check on the Roku App first thing tomorrow. Hopefully the response I get is positive. There are some HUGE developments upcoming with the website - but I can't disclose them yet. Soon hopefully - but if we are able to close this deal - trust me it will be Earth shattering. I will just say that since the launch of NWAClassics.com - there has been a lot of interest in it. And this news has nothing to do with Vince. (sigh of relief) Will be back online tomorrow - hope you have enjoyed the updates while I have been gone. But for now - Oyasumenasai! (goodnight)

We have the first two falls of the Valentine - David Von Erich match - and it's amazing. Third fall is on another reel. We will post the full match just as soon as we locate and transfer the third fall as I don't want to release a match that's incomplete. I will be headed to Japan first thing in the morning. When I return next Friday - let's hope and pray for two things: 1 - we found the third fall of the Valentine David Von Erich match - and 2 - the Roku App is ready. I have also arranged for new matches to be uploaded to NWAClassics.com daily in my absence - but I won't be able to post the usual FaceBook announcements while I am abroad. So - I suppose you will have a daily surprise on the website for about a week!

I will be leaving for Japan on Saturday and will be back in the US late Thursday night. Let's all hope and pray that we have something basic developed upon my return. I assure you that my team is working on it.

By the way. Because of the high cost for outside development of the ROKU App - we have brought this project in house again. No other option. So what we are hoping to get finished - hopefully by the time I get back from Japan - is a very basic ROKU App that will at least get us up and running on ROKU - maybe not all of the matches at first but for sure the best / most watched ones - and we will improve it as we go along. That's the plan for now.

I can't believe that I've never heard of PRISSY PURCELL. And I know everybody!

Need a little help here guys. I have a great ladies match featuring Debbie Combs vs. an opponent with the last name of Purcell - something like that - anyone have a first name on her? I would love to release that match tomorrow.

Thank you for all the great comments and encouragement. Really appreciate it. I am extremely dedicated to this project - and I will continue to be so because I truly believe that we are honoring the legends of wrestling - many of whom have already passed on like WAHOO and THE SPOILER and GARY HART - and GINO - by preserving their memories forever with these matches. We will also always be responsive and accessible to the fans because I want everyone to know that we appreciate them very much.

I thought this Spoiler vs. Wahoo match was amazing. A phenomenal WAR between two legendary tough guys. You just don't see matches like this before. Interesting side note to this match - that I can tell because both have passed away now - but legend has it that one time in a dressing room in Charlotte or Raleigh - maybe Greensboro - Wahoo and Spoiler had a legitimate fight in the dressing room over something - maybe a finish - and Wahoo clearly got the better of Jardine who was pretty well busted up. After the dressing room shoot - which was settled - these two guys were professional enough to then go out and work a match together.

Please be advised that there was a technical issue with one of the cameras many years ago when this was filmed - but this match was so good and so important that we had to post it anyway.

I haven't seen it but I'm thinking the Terry Funk match from Miami is probably a clip.

Even TV squash matches with Bockwinkle have to be good - especially the one with Ricky Hunter! And the Gagne commentary will be interesting to listen to. We also have other tape from other non-Houston promotions we could air - there's the Terry Funk World Title win from Miami Beach - possibly a Jack Brisco match from Japan - maybe even some Sheik material from Detroit. And don't get too excited cause there's not much of it - still mainly Houston.
