  1. He's makin' movies!
  2. We've been teased so often with getting rid of Ziggler that I'm sceptical of that until the moment he shows up in someone else's ring. He's such a stale figure that I don't know what value he would even have to AEW unless it's in a limited capacity.
  3. God bless Rey and his synthetic knees for still doing shit like that when he's like 45
  4. For most of the last year Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles have been the champions and they're the same age.
  5. I don't know how they didn't bring Lashley in and immediately do a Lesnar match with a pure sports MMA-type build. It would have at least broken up the monotony of Lesnar doing endless Reigns and Strowman matches that even he was tired of doing.
  6. The last two weeks of television makes me think that they're at least considering McIntyre vs Cena at some point down the line. Might not make it as far as Mania though.
  7. John gets the match if he cuts his hair please
  8. How long is all along I wonder?
  9. Presumably he's not able to do a physical angle but why they couldn't have just opened the show with him being laid out backstage I don't know
  10. Schiavone would seem like an obvious choice if the intention is actually to create a new WCW Nitro
  11. Presumably the Universal Championship match considering Braun still hasn't done anything physical since just after Survivor Series
  12. Not sure what's programmed for Raw but very much looking forward to Rey and Almas matching up again on Smackdown. Becky might get some boos from Asuka but she'll be right back to having the crowd behind her once she's lined up against Ronda.
  13. I always kinda thought that JR's involvement would be as a backstage advisory guy.

  15. I think I heard something about their night being a Tuesday. Might have been in the article Bix did today/yesterday.
  16. Is TBS a big channel? As big as USA? I don't really know a lot about how American TV networks work in comparison to U.K. ones. I'm interested in how they might distribute internationally and how UK fans could see their show. The most efficient way to expand their distribution rapidly would be to deal with Amazon or Netflix probably. I know Amazon Prime is looking into the live sports arena and has already signed up the men's tennis tour. I think they're looking into Premier League football as well. So it might be the most likely destination if they go down that route.
  17. What's the point of them signing every reputable smaller indy worker under the sun if they can't be used to carry a big guy to an entertaining 15 minute match? Bryan, AJ, Mysterio, Rollins, Balor and plenty of others should see that as their bread and butter. If Roman Reigns could make it work as a bigger guy than them, then there's no reason they can't do it too. Maybe Braun can't do 20-25 minute main event matches but why you'd want a near 7 foot monster in 25 minute matches is beyond me anyway. Not everyone should be a workrate guy and not every card should be filled with workrate matches. That run of sprints they did in 2017 was really refreshing for that reason. Having a big huge dude who you know isn't going to be in there long but it going to raise hell while he's there would be a great way to bring excitement and variety to the card.
  18. Jobbing to Drew I presume
  19. WWE can easily choose not to book him in long promos or long singles matches. It isn't really his fault that they try to squeeze everyone into their formula instead of accentuating what's unique about them.
  20. When was the last time he did one of his big stunt spots that got over big? It's been forever. He used to be this huge guy who was bigger and more destructive than anyone else and now he's just a wrestler who's big. I don't think they could've kept his super hot run going permanently without the novelty wearing off - he should be an Andre/Undertaker type special attraction as opposed to a permanent top guy. But that makes the argument that they should've just hot shot the belt onto him in 2017 to give him his crowning moment all the more obvious. Now he's just being Lugered by permanently chasing and never winning. He might be the biggest victim of Vince's hard-on for Brock having the belt, moreso even than Reigns. He should've just won it at No Mercy 2017, even if it was only going to be a two or three month reign.
  21. They won't do it but Braun needs to win the title at the Rumble. I don't know why they didn't just give him the belt at the Saudi show. If they wanted Brock to go into Mania as the champ they could've just done the switch at the Rumble with a run-in finish to at least give Braun a hot Mania programme. He's been booked like a fill-in guy at the top while theyre waiting for something else and that's how fans are going to treat him.
  22. Why would you not watch something just because the people on it are paid well?
  23. I've heard it said that they were waiting til half-time on whatever American football game was on until Lesnar came out so they might have been a bit off with that and he didn't have the material to cover for it.
  24. PWInsider is reporting that Neville/PAC is in Jacksonville and is possibly going to be announced for AEW at their rally. He would be a great signing - a relatively recognisable face who can work heel or babayface up and down the card. I'd like to see him continue his heel act and be allowed a relatively prominent role.
  25. At least he got a nice fur jacket
