That's true. It's harder than ever to tell who or what 'draws' when drawing seems to mainly involve securing corporate deals as opposed to paying customers. The fact that Styles was champion for a year and is on the cover of the game suggest they must see him as marketable in some way I guess. But you're correct, it's practically impossible to even tell nowadays. YouTube numbers maybe?

I think it would be frankly bizarre if they offered him Brock money. Realistically, as over as he is with that fanbase, it's not like he's a mainstream name who would make a day one difference to the bottom line for either WWE or AEW.

I hope AEW is as successful as can be because it would be great for wrestling but if you need to have done X hours of required watching on YouTube before you can even consider thinking about it then it's not going to be a very successful business.

I happened to recently watch Starrcade 1993 recently and the segments with Flair and Gene in the limo on the way to the show was absolute gold. Completely understated and reflective performances but really selling the gravity of the stipulation and making the whole thing just feel 100% real and legit. RIP

Seth cutting a promo bragging about having 'classics' with Dolph Ziggler and Mojo Rawley is the worst shit imaginable. If you want me to believe that he's the guy to take out Brock, then emphasising that he struggled to beat those two geeks is not a good idea.

The match I got the most enjoyment out of this year was Ronda/Kurt vs Stephanie/HHH at Wrestlemania. It was just pure pro-wrestling spectacle.

The fact that they out Rey over Orton on Sunday (when it seemed like they were building up to push him again) makes me think they're going in that direction. Rey vs Bryan is something I've been dying to see for a while and it would be incredible if they did a mask vs hair/beard match to cap of the feud when they get to it. I'd love to know how much of Bryan's stuff is coming from him because the promos all seem like his own words but also the way he's working the matches and the fact that he's putting over Ali makes it seem like he's got a lot of control over his own booking.

Ali getting the Rumble title match would be a real breath of fresh air. Hopefully they hold off til then rather than just doing the Bryan win on Smackdown in two weeks or so

After last night's debacle, I'm becoming convinced that Vince should cut a giant cheque and get Cena to be the Brock match at Mania. He can drop the title to Drew or Braun at the next PPV.

To me, Seth is a good highspot guy and he's popular enough so it seems that his most logical position would be as the hot tag guy in a tag team act. If WWE actually took tag team wrestling seriously on a consistent basis, that wouldn't even be that much of a demotion. I've no idea why they can't just keep him and Ambrose together as a tag team and build those belts up because they're so much better when they're in that format than when they're trying to do the self-conscious epic main event stuff. Seth Rollins as cosplay HHH in 2015 was abysmal. Him doing cosplay geriatric Shawn dramatics last night was just as bad. Just stick him in a damn tag team and don't push him above his station.
