  1. In 1995, I won't pay 25 cents to watch Tito Santana. Indy or no indy.
  2. How is Goldust a top pick? If you want to argue more, take it to my PM. Answer my question, or are you too gutless to out in the open? Same about Tito Santana?
  3. Different rules for different people. I guess I'm not in the loop or some fucking crap like that.
  4. How is Goldust a top pick?
  5. Upside just like Austin & Booker T. Curious on how there's different rules for different people.
  6. Portland is up for who ever wants it.
  7. There's what?
  8. With our 6th pick, WWF selects: Vampiro
  9. Where's my Booker T pick at?
  10. The WWF would like to announce our latest signing: Booker T.
  11. I agree, but Austin was HUGE from 97 until his retirement.
  12. I'm just mentioning that all you do is criticize everyone else's moves, but when someone does it back to you, you get all defensive. I love my pick of Austin there and he will be a major player long after Hansen has been retired. I think you either don't remember his run in WCW in the Hollywood Blondes and his singles work there when he was a top 10 worker in the US. Injury and politics (Hogan and friends) derailed Austin there and he won't have that problem in the WWF. As much as I LOVE Hansen, see my name), Hansen is a 8th-12th round pick due to his age. You use the fact that he WAS a legend in Japan as your reasoning for the pick. I'm using the same reasoning in reverse with Austin. He became a major player in the US within 12-18 months after going to Vince.

  15. If picks fall the way I want them to, Douglas could go a few different ways. I really was hoping Vader would last to the next round.
  16. And I'll get my use of out Austin for the next decade within a year. SMH.
  17. Reach pick for a guy who will retire soon.
  18. Jim Ross walks to the podium for the WWF: "We think this youngster has a lot of attitude and should be a good fit going forward, we select, Shane Douglas.
  19. True, but that's missing the point. In 1995, Austin was not this blue chip future star. He was a basic mechanic. Picking Austin this high would be like doing a draft now and picking Sheamus in the first round. Sheamus actually would be a better pick, due to actually having years on top. He was more then a basic wrestler. His run with Pillman and his singles work was awesome. He could really go in the ring. He feel out of favor with the decision makers in WCW and his push stopped.
  20. Steiners were a no brainer to me. They can either be a tag team, IC title hunt or World title hunt. Kill 3 birds with 2 stones (since they were picked as a team).
  21. WWE Selects: Rick & Scott Steiner with their #2 & #3 picks.
  22. Austin isn't going to be a ringmaster or 3:16 in my version. It's not what you are doing with him, it's the fact Steve Austin would be such a high pick in September 1995. Nobody would pick him that high, especially with such talent on the board. Whatever you do with him though, remember he is injured and can't wrestle till sometime in November. Austin could do other things until then, correct? Promos, but too injured to wrestle. See, picking Austin is like taking a player in a draft a little high. You know that he's a sure thing, but not polished yet. Within a little while, he's the superstar you know he was going to be. This is suppose to be about building and what better building block there is on the board then Austin?

  25. Next week sets up a big encounter.
