  2. We have a big angle coming at the live TV this Friday for the following week. When we settle in, we might have a TV title that will get defend every week on TV and on house shows. Something like 20 minute time limit or something along those lines.
  3. Easy, I dislike Bret "The Mark for himself" Hart. I have a top worker, his name is Shawn Michaels.
  4. Picking up "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal and dropping Tim Horton.
  5. We are going to have a "tier" system so everyone eventually. Right now, everyone is going to get pushed to an extent, until I figure things out with the roster. Making a lot of moves, which will stop shortly. Might make some tweaks, but with Flair and the freelancers coming in, have to set up a foundation before Labor Day.
  6. I thought so, but didn't remember. I thought Tim Horton played for the Leafs & Penguins.

  13. PNW News: The revolving door in regards to the talent is coming to an end. After the talent exchange with the USWA, the promotion won't be looking to bring anyone else in, unless something falls into their lap. Speaking of talent, NWA Champ "Nature Boy" Ric Flair is coming to town from August 17th/20th. Flair will defend against both Heels and Faces during those 4 days. Flair might end up in a tag match one of those nights. Portland was hoping to bring in "Rowdy" Roddy Piper for a show Monday, August the 20th as a mystery partner for "Cowboy" Scott Casey, but a scheduling snafu has changed plans. The promotion has recovered quickly and has another big name lined up for that spot. The angle will now take place on Friday, August 17th on the normal live TV show. With Kevin Sullivan coming in and with "Maniac" Mark Lewin already making his debut and with Bob Roop suppose to start at the next TV show, Booker Johnny Rodz wants to put the "Army of darkness" together in Portland. With Lou Albano and his charges Bobby Jaggers/Eric Embry/The Spoiler already the top Heels in the territory, people are wondering on how 2 strong factions will work in a smaller promotion. With Dan Spivey scheduled to debut shortly as a Heel, plans might have to change with Spivey a bit or make Sullivan's group tweeners. There is talk of having Jay Youngblood go solo and have is younger brother Mark drop down the card a bit. Cocoa Samoa will form a team with The Tonga Kid Scott McGhee will form an Irish/Scottish team with Rick McGraw "Mean" Mike Miller has always been a Heel in Portland, but it appears that he will be a Babyface to start out. "Maniac" Matt Borne returns this week also and will most likely feud with Mark Lewin. It will be interesting to see how long Borne can keep his job with the promotion, as he had legal "issues" in the past that forced him to leave the area. Koko Ware is getting over better then originally expected and will be the #2 Babyface behind Brett Sawyer. Plans might have changed in making Jonathan Boyd a counterpart of Lou Albano's and might be looking at someone to do that job. If that's the case, expect Boyd to slide down the card and be a JTTS for the remainder of his tenure.

  15. Plenty on free agency my friend, here's a list of some... Art Crews - PNW Rookie of the year in 1981 Stan Stasiak - although getting on, was a legend in the area win the title 6 times and tag titles 8 times. I booked him in a return to glory angle a few years back when I was booking Portland. Billy White Cloud - had a run in 82-83 in Portland. Chris Colt - had long run in the promotion off and on from 79-87. Timothy Flowers - brief run in 85-86. Steve Regal - former heavyweight and tag champ with Matt Borne. Edit - few more.. Buck Ramstead - Seems to be a jobber at this point but did wrestle here in the 1970s. Mr Ebony (Tom Jones) - won tag titles twice with Mike Miller Steve Pardee - won the tag titles with Brett Wayne Sawyer in 1983. Sivi Afi - Decent hand Tio & Tapu - if you fancy more Samoan savages Unfortunately, there's no one there I really want.
