For Drew/Roman to main event over the farewell of one of Vince's favorite wrestlers, it has to be something like Brock returning.

The #1 is clearly the Big Dog and the Head of the Table, ROMAN REIGNS.

If anything, Carmella was the one trying to carry that match into something good.

Put me in the "Carmella's good" camp.

Roman is so much better than Drew that I am positive that he's gonna lose.

It wasn't *that* cinematic, to be perfectly honest. They tried out some different camera lenses and angles, but the weirdest part was the canned in crowd reaction. It felt like a videogame in the worst of ways - I wonder if it was the blueprint to the now much more reasonable canned crowd sounds at the Thunderdome. Other than that, it was not that different from what one would expect in terms of how it was shot.

How do you rate Lucha Underground, bubba @FMKK? But I guess 2020 has been a bad year in general, if we are being totally honest. Even people like Thunder Rosa, Mox, Sasha Banks et al, who have had a great year, kinda feel like they are doing less then what they should've been due to the reduced/no crowd. Even so, I still rate Orton's year pretty high. I imagine that not doing house shows is actually good for him.

NXT is hit and miss but my God they're having a home run with Shotzi. holy shit

Basically every single competitive televised match he had this year was good. A shortlist: The feud with Drew McIntyre was long, of course, but it did provide great matches. The first two of their series was great, especially the Ambulance match. Yesterday also featured a solid showing. The weakest one, the HiaC match, was still good, but it did suffer from being too long. His series of matches against AJ Styles as the beginning of the year were good, and he clearly showed he was willing to put some work in this year. Crowd was going wild, and he even did stuff like a Styles Clash. The 2nd match against Edge, aka the greatest wrestling match ever, was a legit great match. It had some weird shit like piped in crowd noise, when it was clear there was no one doing any noise. The match against Keith Lee where he lost in quick and decisive fashion was also a damn fun sprint. The triple threat against Lee and Rollins deserves mention, too. If we include matches that were basically segments, like his one against KO or against Christian, it becomes even better because they served a purpose, and in the case of the latter, it was truly effective.

Orton, age 40, is actually having a low key amazing year in terms of match quality. The worst one was against Edge and even then the issues were more length than anything.

Honestly RAW needs a shot in the arm, something to make people tune in. A title change seems like the logical thing to do, but sometimes WWE defies common sense and given how they've featured that Sheamus/Drew friendship over the past few weeks, it wouldn't surprise me if Sheamus cost his buddy the title.
