Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?

Worst part is that WWE does have really good young wrestlers, and quite a lot of them. I remember I even mentioned during the UK Tournament that the final had a 21 year old wrestling a 19 year old and they delivered. They still have people like Liv Morgan and Velveteen Dream. Otis can be a good hand and is also in his twenties. AOP are also around the same age as Guevara. Hell, Rhea herself is 22, 23 years old. Her title victory was amazing and I believe most of us would want her to still be champ. They, however, ain't even thinking on the short term when it comes to their pushes. There's no planning at all sometimes.

    Hana Kimura passes away

Cyberbullying happens because most times, the perpetrator walks away scot-free. They hide behind a wall of anonymity, with who knows how many burner accounts and very rarely face any kind of real-world consequence. Cesar Bononi mentioned in an interview that wrestlers had to take shit from their bosses AND from fans. He talked about death threats, about how people wanted him to get hurt and lose his job, plus other horrible shit directed at his family. Can't imagine going through this shit daily, really.
  5. Hey fellas, that doc was awesome. The best sports documentary ever and one of the greatest documentaries, period. Also gotta love losing Becky and then running Drew/Corbin as your main.

    Shad Gaspard passes away

One of the most tragic stories of the week. https://www-thesun-co-uk.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.thesun.co.uk/sport/11668962/shad-gaspard-dead-39-wwe-swim/amp/?amp_js_v=a3&amp_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQFKAGwASA%3D#aoh=15900330913241&csi=1&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=Fonte%3A %1%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thesun.co.uk%2Fsport%2F11668962%2Fshad-gaspard-dead-39-wwe-swim%2F

Sheamus is absolutely a top hoss and I might have done Bryan/Sheamus again for the IC title. No way DBry doesn't win this.

Is Charlotte Flair the most overpushed WWE wrestler of the century?

Yeah, while she's not at Levesque levels, she clearly has some sort of leverage. And as of 05/23/2020, she's officially involved in the three title scenes. I don't think that her output warrants that kind of push, even if we are being generous.

IMO not quite the hot take bubba, but thanks for the shout out! Also, I guess Shayna's absence from the three-way makes sense. I mean, Charlotte HAS to be featured somehow, Nia is obviously winning(I mean, she has to, right?), and Nattie is expendable. Wouldn't put Liv or Baszler there just to be the fall woman, either.

lol, Nattie vs Nia vs CHARLOTTE FLAIR at Backlash. The winner faces Asuka for the Raw Title. Char not only holds the NXT Belt but is featured in the other two title programs. What the fuck.

Great post by Sleeze but man no love for Naomi. And yeah, like Sek mentioned, she's a regular on THREE separare rosters, is the NXT champ and is trying to stir shit in SD. Props to her for putting the work in but sometimes too much is too much.

Yeah Roman's push ain't on the same galaxy as Hogan's. I wish it did tho

Is Charlotte Flair the most overpushed WWE wrestler of the century?

I dunno. She not even took a bump for Mia Yim's FINISHER, plus there are several recent matches where her selling is just... less than ideal. She was clearly going through the motions against Carmella in 2018, so I wouldn't say she makes people look great that often, either.

I remember having a blast. She knows how to play to the crowd and that type of interaction is golden.

The only blemish on the Bliss push was that really weird Becky feud. It's a shame, 'cause she was one of the three people outside of the usual horsewomen to shine (and one of them lasted for 1 year)

Is Charlotte Flair the most overpushed WWE wrestler of the century?

I dunno man, Carmella was clearly very green but she was VERY entertaining at that point. She was talking trash to an emotionless Flair while applying a headlock, on a desperate attempt to give more heat to that match. That was one case of Charlotte adding NOTHING to a match, and she's had some BANGERS entirely on her own.

Is Charlotte Flair the most overpushed WWE wrestler of the century?

Sure, Charlotte was booked to be a star. From the moment she got called up, she ended Nikki Bella's then record-setting reign. Nikki did everything she could to put her over, and those matches were good! But man, five years later is just feels like the women's division is Charlotte and Friends. I remember vividly a match she had against Carmella where I'm pretty sure she sandbagged the whole thing. Char looked visibly upset at putting Carmella over. And well, now she basically ran through the entire NXT division as well. No one, not even Becky, is on her level.

Random trivia: Dennis Rodman had 26 offensive rebounds in the '96 playoff series against the Orlando Magic. The entire Orlando squad had 39. I believe Rodman's own documentary sheds some light on what happened during his years with the Bulls. They understood him better than the others. Zen Master Jackson is the man.
