  1. Honest question: wouldn't unionization be something spread across the whole wrestling industry on a federal level?
  2. Truth be told in her position I would just work out and make money on Twitch. Wrestling seems stressful
  3. Word is that she was making loads of money on Twitch
  4. NXT has kinda become that for me with it becoming a safe haven for pedos and QAnon cult members. I love some of the acts there like Escobar, Shotzi and Io, but man, it's terrible seeing people like Theory do horrible shit without any repercussion
  5. Literally ten minutes. Either she already knew she was fired by the time she tweeted it, or was on her way to getting fired.
  6. Leon Ruff winning the title is something that would be much more effective in front of a live crowd
  7. WWE teasing me with a Sheamus/Drew McIntyre tag team that they have no intention of delivering. Fuck.
  8. Alexa Bliss might be *too* good at this role. It's kinda obnoxious.
  9. lots of 'not my captain' segments today, fellas. wonder why!
  10. I wasn't even mad at Drew getting help. It felt like the culmination of the months they spent with Randy going after everyone, and then reaping what he had sown. Frankly, if they ended the feud there, I would say it was a very well written one. However, like a long-running show, they kept on going after the logical conclusion. While some moments like this opening promo have been good and Miz's addition is welcome because he is just so damn good, it does feel like a step down.
  11. All this is much more interesting than fucking Bray Wyatt aiming for the title again. Not gonna lie bubbas, Drew Mc as champ was a draw to me
  12. Come on bubba, don't do me like that.
  13. Like, of course she said something dumb. On the other hand, at the moment, I'd rather have regular ol' bootlicking than cult members seemingly having institutional approval to conduct their shady and dangerous businesses. Fuck Drake Wuertz, bubbas. Dude is out there spreading dangerous rhethoric about children kidnapping, death cults, satanism and all kinds of horrible lies.
  14. Didn't Bayley say something similar? It is what it is. Very few are going to be completely candid about their status as independent contractors
  15. Probably the most important development of the past few days.
  16. Although Roman/Jey has been one of the best things WWE has done lately, Sasha and Bayley carried that show throughout so many empty arena weeks, no praise is enough for them. Like, they managed to work through a damn great feud, with tons of buildup and nuance. If this leads to Bianca Belair getting a push, it's even better.
  17. Your post shouldn't be deleted, bubba. It does bring a great point about how we conduct things: be it in politics, pro wrestling, or in sports & life in general, never punch your opponent down too much. If you lose, you're gonna be the laughing stock.
  18. There are tiers to ignorance, though. We have dumb fucks like Aries and full on conspiracionist cult members such as Drake Wuertz and Matt Morgan (who IIRC is mayor of a city in Florida). Those guys are reposting zany conspiracy theories about how the election was a FRAUD and other stupid garbage. The fact that some of those dudes have any sort of political power is astounding and dangerous.
  19. She's not greaaaat, but she clearly puts in effort into anything she does and is capable of having good matches. In fact, I think she can carry a feud quite well outside the ring, that's not even an issue. She can talk and has personality. I know I saw her carry Charlotte through a decent one despite Flair's attempts at sandbagging her.
  20. jericho being dunked on by so many people is unexpected
  21. That's fair, bubba. I mean, The Rock IS one of the greatest talkers of our time. Part of the reason he's so successful is that he is great at staying out of anything controversial. Basically the polar opposite of the other People's Champ, Muhammad Ali. Ciampa's gimmick has all the markings of those Blue Lives Matter, QAnon type fellas. It's in his damn logo ffs
  22. Yes, that same dude. Listening to him in that video just confirms my point: dude is slippery. He never fully endorses George Dubya, or even the GOP for that matter. He is quick to point out that he wants people to exercise their right to vote, be it for the Dems or the Reps. Sure, he isn't on neutral ground by any means, but nothing he said is explicit endorsement. He carefully chooses the words he is going to use so as to be as neutral as possible. The fact that he flat out said he was going to vote for Biden was kinda big, tbh.
  23. Yeah, whether we like it or not, Jericho is a person who people like and tune in to watch. It is disingenuous to say that he's doing more harm than good to the company. As for JR, he's a non-factor. He is a bad pbp guy but calling him a liability is going too far. He ain't Cornette. Truth be told, the world's smartest wrestler is The Rock. He never made political statements, never talked about controversial or sensitive issues, and he is always positioning himself in a way that would promote one of his many, many business ventures. The one time he openly declared supporto to a president, people started saying he was dead all along, and ate babies.
