WWE Presents Crown Jewel: Halloween Pumpkin Spice Edition
KawadaSmile replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Cain beating Lesnar with a Frankensteiner would make pirating I mean watching this worth a while. -
Oh, thought there were some separate incidents. Did anyone actually die from that Butcher-induced disease?
-
Yeah, from the looks of it, it really did sound like an appealing episode of NXT. Might check it out tomorrow, because I am really interested in basically everything they did tonight. You forgot Hep C!

The match is life itself! -
Lots of gory decoration to celebrate such an iconic event (that actually has an interesting card, ngl)
-
I figured it would have that effect. There are just so many bugs, and people keep finding worse and worse shit, it's almost like a game itself.
-
WWE 2K20 is causing a shitstorm that is comparable to legendary failures like Assassin's Creed Unity. I love it.

WWE TV 10/14 - 10/20 Randy Orton is the Tom Brady of WWE
KawadaSmile replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Yes, his heel run was really good. In fact, it's what made him such a sought after talent. He was one of the most consistent wrestlers on the planet at that time, but sadly Enzo was more popular, so it couldn't last longer. There's no Bastard PAC if there wasn't Neville, King of the Cruiserweights, too! -
NXT surely got murdered by NBA. Same goes for AEW.

Well he did look awesome and them roids made him look like a million bucks. PAC wouldn't get noticed if he didn't do roids, too. Roids are good. -
Montez is so good

Hell yes. This RAW banged hard, my dudes. There are minor criticisms, like nearly no use of the Women's Division (although it's easily explained by like 90% of them being in Australia, I really wanted to see Liv) or no Murphy, they managed to use new blood to an amazing degree. Humberto facing the Universal Champion right out the gate and Street Profits getting a main event match and winning was incredible.
-
Hey that felt different. They are trying to put over different people and that's almost shocking.
-
Essa Rios!
-
Hey they are actually using the roster pretty well today. Humberto getting a shot against Seth Rollins is different. No Liv but nothing's perfect.
-
Humberto on RAW after a Sin Cara/Andrade match is wild stuff. All we need is Murphy
-
Dio Maddin is really making Castlevania 2 references. This company just has the geekiest damn commentators.
-
McIntyre vs Ricochet was really, really good. That crucifix buckle bomb/powerbomb combo was fire
-
Hey I just had a dream about Shorty G getting "shorty!" chants hyping him up and it was awesome

Wouldn't go that far, but yeah. Kofi got a SIX MONTH TITLE RUN out of this. He beat all his other opponents in decisive fashion and you could easily explain his defeat as the Power of Positivity going over his head - very few people would carelessly charge Brock and not pay the price. He still got a way better deal than Roman ever did.... -

Basically Cena said Ambrose was irrelevant and had no drive. IIRC at the time, Ambrose was showing up drunk in certain red carpet events, and was sloppy beforehand. Him being moved to the pre-show was more of a consequence than a cause in that context, but dude not turning it up in the biggest show was a huge indicator. The upside to it was that it made me appreciate Corbin more. I thought "hey, this dude is actually not so bad and it's a shame Ambrose is pulling a Brock because otherwise it would be decent" -

Not sure if that's the case. I mean, sure it was possibly the biggest factor, but his WWE title run started AFTER his match against Brock, and we can't say he wasn't having a good time back then, or even putting in effort. The Austin podcast was after that too, right? And so was that Cena promo on Talking Smack where he obliterated Ambrose. I remember that his match against Baron Corbin at Wrestlemania 33 was what made me realize he was completely gone. One of the worst performances I've ever seen. -

Pretty much. We know that Roman is probably a lifer and is very good at being an ambassador. Any other wrestler would be pushed to the stars with his skills AND his life story. Yet they just seem to not care that much. The fact that he's tagging with Bryan is a bit symbolic, in that way - two dudes who are excellent, two of the absolute best in the world, who really could've been the biggest STARS in wrestling. But they just didn't care enough. It's weird. -

Roman is possibly the safest pick, which in a way explains why one would choose Mox over him. Mox has a chip on his shoulder now, and despite not being as good as Reigns, the situation he's in leads to intrigue and interest. We know Roman is great, but we don't know how high Moxley can go after all he's been through. Imagine Roman leaves WWE tomorrow and is a free agent. He would absolutely be the #1 pick. -
Is WWE redeemable? Yes. Are they going to change in order for that to happen? No. Are they going to die horribly in 10 years? No.
