WWE TV 01/14 - 01/20 Bolsonarism is taking us to the Middle Ages

That's incredible, dude. Dozer is one of a kind, really. The moment I laid my eyes on that absolute unit, I was hooked. Tucker might be the more well-rounded wrestler, but Doz has those mannerisms that you just can't train and he's exceptionally charismatic. Plus he's really fucking strong and I can't imagine how crazy matchups against Big E could be. -

To be fair, the obstacle course did get him over, or at the very least the crowd was cheering at him plowing his way through and showing off while doing it. He does have more going for him right now, though. His partnership with Lio is great - and Rush himself is getting himself over by doing his stunts - and it has a huge shelf life. Showing his butt, as silly as it is, is simple and effective heeling, and so is his manager yelling "LASHLEY!" In-ring, despite some odd quirks like him running the ropes like he's in TNA, he's pretty dope. Can't really go wrong when he can throw 90% of his opponents around like ragdolls. -

They're still very young, so it's not like they are completely lost. Them pretty much having to ditch Ellering sure made the act be less promising, and the Maverick partnership was a pissing flop. It did gave us a surprisingly good (so far) Roode/Gable title run, though. -

Sort of. They are indeed very kid friendly, with a straight man/cuckoolander dynamic, but they can go in the ring and both are actually really young, so both have room to improve. Tucker was actually part of the Greatest Royal Rumble, so it seems they trust him enough to be on his own. Otis is just the greatest. Like Edger said, you can give them a good title run, without making them the focus of the division. While comedy acts are not necessarily a bad thing - New Day is legit one of the best tag teams ever and only got over as much as they did after they became a comedy act - they still aren't that skilled. Still, me and @Zoo Enthusiast probably are the happiest ones with those call-ups. -

You are actually right, tho. It was pretty much the only lowlight of the episode. Guess it was a reminder for folks who want the Attitude Era back - fanservice was even more blatant there. -

Hey remember that ultra dope 2016 RAW when Finn made his debut and beat wellness-violation Roman in the main event, only to be massively put over post-match as well? Well, this is it. -

Hey do you guys think that Seth Rollins having a dumpster fire of a match against Ambrose at TLC might've cost him a shot at the Universal Title against Brock? @SomethingSavage must be popping downing some Hennesseys right now -

Lashley/Lio is a dope pairing. Bobby was the standout in that very good match and he takes the belt off that bust Dean. -

This RAW's been a blast so far. Nikki Cross is amazing and probably had the most drastic change in character of all the NXT people. Hope she faces Ronda down the road. -

That's a way to write Braun off the Rumble Universal Title match. -

It's said that there's going to be a twist regarding one of the Rumble's biggest matches. -
Hey fellas. Carnaval's closing in. There's an interesting talking point going on lately: some people on Twitter complained about Becky's tweets directed at Asuka, and how they really don't come off as cool or as smart when in comparison to her Twitter beef against the likes of Charlotte and Ronda. While I get the appeal, it never did strike me as an enjoyable thing. Her "burns" were try-hard stuff, but if she's getting a reaction and a possible main event spot at Wrestlemania, more power to her. Mission accomplished. However, do you guys believe there's a chance that notoriously fickle audiences stop caring? Or even worse, boo her?

Comedy wrestling is fine, in the right dosages. Santino and R-Truth are massively over in part because they are very good at comedy - being actually good wrestlers sure helps too. Even former main eventers like Angle and Austin had their comedic segments, and that didn't hamper them. However to go from that to giant penis druids is quite the leap. If they manage to write comedy skits and comedy matches in the right doses, they can only benefit from it.

Heard that AEW won't have wellness policies. Is that true? If so, great. Neville and Jinder showed us that roids are actually good - besides, I doubt anyone there is on the juice anyway

I can't wait to see Bianca Belair headline Wrestlemania 37. To me she's a top 10 talent, and won't take long to reach top 5.

WWE TV 01/07 - 01/13 Bolsonaro is the epitome of SDE*

Balor had great matches against Strowman just last year, and they actually formed a pretty fun tag - which is another angle that they could explore more some time in the future. To say that Strowman can't work long (as in 10-25 minutes) matches seems disigenuous. People used to say the same about Roman, that he gassed really quickly, and both statements are demonstrably untrue. IIRC there was a nice 2017 RAW match between Seth and Strowman which was pretty cool, too. Rollins was bouncing around for him and he couldn't do his stupid no-selling routine, so it was different and effective. -

The Roman/Braun feud was stellar. It did launch Braun to superstardom, and it was warranted. Those over-the-top, cartoonishly violent squashes also helped. But they made him feud with Lesnar for way too long, and he looks HORRIBLE on those matches, to the point where it seems painfully obvious that Brock straight up doesn't like him and is unwilling to show ass. By contrast, it almost seems like he put over Roman nicely, which is crazy. While making Strowman a hot act again is in theory an easy task - just have him do ridiculous feats of strength -, they have to get him really fucking far from Brock. The only dude who managed to look worse than him in that spot was Ambrose. On the other hand - I don't think the Big Show comparison is necessarily bad, nor it is unwarranted. Big Show did have some sweet title reigns, such as the ECW monster ace or the 2012 WHC run which was just incredible, but he could never have a long reign like AJ, Punk or Cena. -

Not sure how much was Braun forgetting lines, or how much they left him on his own, but wrestlers being produced sometimes can lead to good things (aka Alexa). While bland promos don't exactly leads you to the highest mountains, looking like a goober (like Braun did) sure can drag you down the mud. -

I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure Sin Cara did a similar move against Andrade. It wasn't as graceful but the final product was also similar to a Canadian Destroyer.
