  1. Locks so far: Negro Casas El Satanico El Hijo del Santo Atlantis L.A. Park Under consideration/need to see more of: El Dandy Sangre Chicana Perro Aguayo Admittedly lucha isn't my favorite style, but the best are really good.
  2. The Network really was a steal, wasn't it?
  3. Naito said in a recent interview with Tokyo Sports he wanted to go to the U.S. but he wasn't able to get a visa. I figured he could easily sign with NOAH but apparently Japan is "not an option."
  4. I was shocked for like a few seconds, then I remembered Paul said everyone should just move on from the Vince allegations, which was a sign as clear as any all bets were off.
  5. The main event was good if a bit long in the tooth. Karrion Kross is aggressively mediocre at best and actively bad at worst. I really don't get the surge of support and popularity this guy has with fans. Apart from a decent look, he's got nothing.

Dustin-Kyle basically clinched a spot for Dustin on my GWE ballot. I agree Mark should go over MJF. Page-MJF seems more like an All Out match. There's no reason they can't do Mark-Page at Forbidden Door and MJF either gets a few more wins under his belt or announces he's using his contract at All Out. And not only that, but when you call the face a joke and mascot during a feud, the face pretty much has to go over or else they lose credibility.
  7. Nevermind, Schiavone actually addressed Hogan's death on Collision.
  8. There were some folks who were taking Tony Khan and AEW to task for not saying anything about Hogan, which isn't entirely surprising given TK has been adamant AEW would have nothing to do with him. And while it is strange they gave a platform to Sabu who also said racist things, I appreciate the fact he stuck to his guns and didn't feel the need to say anything about Hogan.
  9. As good as a lot of the field seems, the loss of Okada, Kenny, Ospreay, prime Ishii, prime Naito, and prime Ibushi makes it feel much less "must-watch."

Kyle is absolutely winning on Thursday...right? He really needs to.
  11. If this were top 150-200 I'd consider him. The Shield tags and basically 2019-2023 or so gives him a pretty good resume. But his singles work in WWE is largely pretty flat outside of a few A.J. and Cena matches. And the Death Rider stuff has left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, though his performance at All In was terrific.
  12. Not sure where I stand on Sami but Claudio is flirting with top 50 status for me. His WWE run really stood out to me due to being such a versatile tag worker, but I think in AEW he's had far more opportunities where he's delivered as a singles and multi-man wrestler. And he's just as good as he was 10 years ago.

    AEW All In 2025

There's nothing that really makes me squeamish in wrestling anymore. But the way Mox's head opened up with those fork shots...yeesh that got me.

Really good show. Bucks-Swerve/Ospreay was the best kind of melodramatic kickout fest, Okada-Omega had probably their "worst" match but it was still pretty damn great, and the main event gets a bajillion stars.

    AEW All In 2025

Just less than 24 hours until it's time for the Adam Page prayer circle.
  16. Would someone be able to provide a rundown of Muto's best matches?
  17. There's a ton of him I haven't seen, but I like what I've seen circa 2017-2019. 2019 in particular he had a strong argument for BITW.
  18. I think it's very much a case of does the good outweigh the bad and by how much. Cena is an interesting case to me because while I think this current run has been terrible, it's only been a couple months out of a twenty year-plus career. However, during those twenty-plus years, he's had a lot of bad matches surrounding some genuinely excellent performances. So while those excellent performances are enough to warrant a spot on my list (as of now), those bad stretches will keep him from ranking high.
  19. Blake Monroe's first few weeks have been especially puzzling.
  20. I think his AEW and NJPW stuff has been much better than when he was in DDT. I'm not quite sure there's enough for a spot, but time will tell.
  21. https://x.com/AEW_Blog/status/1940479130119856426 FWIW Fightful claiming there's been no word internally that Britt is actively looking to leave. That being said, I don't think there's really much value to keep her around anyway. Division as a whole has passed her by and Toni and Mercedes are the clear top stars for them now.
  22. Punk officially apologized for the blood money tweet at the presser. Good Lord, I know wrestlers are hypocrites but holy crap.

    Samoa Joe

Joe would've likely made my list regardless, but I honestly think his AEW run helps his case quite a bit. No, he's not 2005 Joe but he seems much more energized compared to his largely lackluster WWE run.

    AJ Styles

A.J. is still in good position to make my top 15, but what are A.J's best 2020's matches? I know the Bryan IC title match during the pandemic is great, but I've been out of the loop on recent great WWE matches for a while.
