  1. Samoa Joe is the only commentator that I want to hear at all on the Main Roster, LOL. Mauro & Joe together? Legendary commentary team right there.
  2. Just finished watching Orton/Edge... WOW!!! Where do I even begin with this instant classic. A complete turnaround from their dismal WrestleMania match that almost put me to sleep. I loved the classy nod of respect to Howard Finkel, loved referee Charles Robinson (Lil' Naitch) wearing the uniform of a "New Generation" referee. This match had the "Big Fight" aura, and I loved the slow methodical build, the intensity, the drama, the bloodshed (a shot at Cody in AEW), the story of Edge's neck, the movesets of legends from the past and former colleagues being used, did not overkill the kickouts, Edge is a legendary facial expression artist, perfectly timed counter moves, all the way down to the perfectly timed Punt Kick. In the end, Randy Orton killed a Legend, as Samoa Joe put it. This match right here felt like North American Mainstream wrestling King's Road style... King's Road is Gospel in my eyes. WM match was trash, Backlash match was treasure. This was a legit 2020 Match of the Year Candidate. I also love the WWE Performance Center era. I hope they stay there for a long time. *****
  3. Samoa Joe has to be thinking that this "GREATEST WRESTLING MATCH EVER" stuff is a load of bull, especially after he went to war with freakin' Kenta Kobashi of all people.
  4. Extreme Rules logo looks like it's being sponsored by The Disney Channel.
  5. Alright, I laughed at the Vikings & Profits laying in the dumpster and the female referee telling Hanson that he was cute, and telling Rowe, "You... not so much". Then seeing Rowe's face change from a smile to a frown was hilarious to me, LOL.
  6. Watching Backlash now. Sheamus/Jeff felt like the typical, ordinary style of WWE match with the Big bruising heel working over the underdog babyface, as the babyface has the occasional hope spots. Sheamus working on top also made my attention span die off at times. That match was supposed to be hate filled, vicious, & intense based on the story leading up to it... I saw none of that hatred, viciousness, or intensity anywhere. So the match turnout did not fit the story. But it was good in the end. ***1/4 Asuka carried Nia Jax to a pretty good scrap with her bumping, selling, & comeback spots. Nia is nothing but a pretty face with a cool Mortal Kombat sounding name... she brings NOTHING to the table and deserves no title shots. She deserves to be sent back to development. I hope it's Asuka/Charlotte at SummerSlam with Asuka finally beating the WWE Female Final Boss, Charlotte Flair. Love the Asuka/Charlotte rivalry. *** Bobby Lashley has found the one opponent that he has chemistry with, the awesome Drew McIntyre. Scary botch with Drew landing on his head outside the ring early on, but these 2 click, and Lashley kept my attention. WWE mucked it up with the Lana nonsense. ***3/4 Orton/Edge coming up after I get through this goofy, unfunny Street Profits/Viking Raiders cinematic trash.
  7. Now that I think about, sounds like this could be Randy Orton greatest match since Mick Foley in 2004, the Christian matches in 2011, & the Daniel Bryan matches?
  8. Bryan/AJ & Charlotte/Rhea are my #1 & #2. This card seems to have produced some stuff that I definitely should see as WWE presented what looked like trash on paper, and made it seem good for the most part. WWE is a trip.
  9. Their WM match almost had me going to sleep for sure. Felt like a 2 hour marathon.
  10. AEW does blood, now WWE wants too. WWE always has me rollin'.
  11. For 2020 Wrestler of the Year Candidates I have: Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Masato Tanaka, Yuji Okabayashi, Drew McIntyre, & Kento Miyahara. CV messed up David Starr, Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, Will Ospreay, and the momentum of others. For 2020 Best Worker, I would have Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Cesaro, Masato Tanaka, Yuji Okabayashi, David Starr was up there too. Those are all off the top of my head. AJ Styles seems to be getting back on track as well.
  12. Won the Royal Rumble, beat the "Final Boss" Brock Lesnar to win the World Title, lots of fun matches. Drew is deserving of candidacy. Championships, accolades, and in-ring performance are what I look at. Cody Rhodes & Kenny Omega are deserving as well off the top of my head.
  13. Another match I need to see. Drew is the man, looking like a 2020 Wrestler of the Year Candidate to me.
  14. Hope the good reports continue.
  15. Since I get it, LOL.
  16. With those 2, that is what I want to hear.
  17. I always turn down the volume when watching WWE Main Roster matches, because their commentary makes you want to hit them with a Liger Shotei. I'm fine with hearing whispers.
  18. Will watch that match later. Asuka continues to be awesome, she is safe and sound, and sounds like she carried Nia to something good. That's my girl. Sounds like Sheamus/Jeff is something to see as well.
  19. No matter who the opponent is, if Brock is motivated, get your popcorn ready.
  20. That is exactly the type of match that Drew/Lashley should be. They can even mimic the Brock/Goldberg WM 33 match. Brock was finally able to get a great match out him him that way.
  21. Roman Reigns & Bobby Lashley.. Good God.. 100% has Vince written all over it
  22. I can't count how many times I lost my attention span during his matches over the years, same with his MMA fights, LOL. Even watching his match with John Cena that was uploaded to YouTube, I lost my attention span while he was working on top of Cena, SMH.
  23. Later, I will cherry pick Asuka & Drew's matches. Their both awesome. I also pray for Asuka's safety as she is wrestling an opponent who is terrifying for all the wrong reasons, and hopefully Drew will make it a shorter Strong Style match will Lashley. Lashley should never be in a long match... never. Because if he is, than it is more powerful than Nyquil.
  24. Sounds like THE GREATEST ACCIDENTAL HANDICAPPED MATCH EVER. I'm going to be watching various Japanese matches from promotions like NOAH, DDT, & 2AW tonight instead. About to watch a random David Starr match that was just uploaded to YouTube. Can't wait for NJPW to come back, baby!!
  25. Well, at least she's talented, has the work ethic, and has star presence. She wants to be on RAW, SmackDown, & NXT (almost like a modern day version of her father working all over the territories when he was the last great touring NWA World Champion). She's cool with me. If she did not have the talent, work ethic, or presence, then I would have a major problem. Because she would bring nothing to the table.
