  1. I thought the world of this match. These 2 living legends used simple psychology, fantastic structuring, and a huge amount of time to paint a masterpiece, and they produced the greatest WWE TV match since John Cena vs. CM Punk in 2013. This is pretty much the closet thing that North American Mainstream wrestling will see to King's Road besides the Kenny Omega vs. PAC 30 minute Ironman match. A legit 2020 Match of the Year Candidate. *****
  2. Yep, Bryan was already great before he hit his prime in the mid 2000's, and all these years later nothing has changed. A master at adapting to anything & everything. A living legend.
  3. Really cool. Hokuto No Ken is what got me into Anime. I will always hold it near and dear. Also, Toshiaki Kawada is the man.
  4. Brock Lesnar is awesome. He has "Final Boss" stage presence. He is a tremendous in-ring storyteller (when motivated), and he feels like a must see wrestler. Every time he shows up, my eyes are glued to him. So many great matches & feuds that he was a part of with a variety of elite wrestlers.
  5. Both come from Amateur Wrestling. Both are legit MMA fighters. Both are huge strong guys. Both have the charisma of a brick wall. Both have zero stage presence. Both need "mouthpieces". Both have to be carried by great workers to have good to great matches. Bobby Lashley had this with the likes of John Cena in 2007, and Kurt Angle in 2015. Jake Hager, well there's still hope. LOL. Maybe Cody or Kenny Omega can do it for him. At least he got to be in Stadium Stampede.
  6. Another thing, "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever". Take your best shot buddy, LOOOOL!!
  7. WWE is just straight up laughable. That Backlash card had me rollin'. No Bryan, no AJ, no Cesaro, no Rollins, no New Day, no Charlotte (yes, I am a huge fan of her's). Asuka is stuck with Nia Jax, can she survive without a trip to the hospital because of Nia's carelessness & lack of talent? Can Drew McIntyre carry Bobby Lashley (the chocolate Jake Hager) to an actual good match? Why in the world is Sasha Banks (Pro wrestling's version of freakin' Beyonce) playing lapdog to someone that brings nothing to the table at the moment? Will WWE creative ever gets it's act together? We will hope to find out next time on WWE Facepalm-Z.
  8. I have Cody Rhodes pegged as a 2020 Wrestler of the Year Candidate. I absolutely love what he is doing right now. Before CV mucked things up, I was also looking at David Starr as a candidate as well.
  9. Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jun Akiyama, Masato Tanaka, Daisuke Sekimoto, Negro Casas, Dr. Wagner Jr., Chris Hero, Meiko Satomura, Mercedes Martinez, LA Park, Naomichi Marufuji, Rey Mysterio Jr., Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kota Ibushi, & Shingo Takagi all come to mind for being top flight consistent in-ring workers between the 2000's & 2010's. My number one pick would be the great Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan himself. It is also AMAZING that he is the greatest worker of the 21st Century, and such a huge portion of his work came while wrestling in the WWE, the most watered down, restricted company possible.
  10. I agree with the rating on this match. I swear, I love some ZSJ, and I see his career going on for several decades. Irish wrestling is in good hands if Jordan Devlin is the one leading the charge. Again, 100% agreed. ****1/2
  11. I thought that this was a great match as well, up until now SHO was the breakout star, while YOH has looked like the weaker of the team as far as them both being singles wrestlers go. But in this match with Will Ospreay, YOH showed a lot of heart against one of the absolute best workers in the world who can truly put on a great match with anyone. I also liked that YOH went after Ospreay's well known injured neck which gave him a fighting chance even though he ended up on the losing end. ****
  12. Even though there is no film footage to show it, based on what I have researched, no one tops Lou Thesz when it comes to this topic. In the 1930's he was having many of the greatest matches of that decade and then even in the 1970's there is video footage of him teaming with Karl Gotch vs. Antonio Inoki & Seiji Sakaguchi in a match that neared 4 Stars in my eyes. Also him being a World Heavyweight Champion on & off from the 1930's to the 1960's must say something about the consistent quality of matches that he was having all the time. I just wish that there was video footage of him throughout all of those decades to expose it.
  13. Katsuyori Shibata vs. Kazuchika Okada (NJPW Sakura Genesis 2017) Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker (WWE WrestleMania XXVI) Genichiro Tenryu vs. Kazuchika Okada in 2015
  14. AJ Styles Kazuchika Okada Kenny Omega Hiroshi Tanahashi Kota Ibushi Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) Shinsuke Nakamura (Until his arrival to the WWE main roster) Tomohiro Ishii Naomichi Marufuji Io Shirai Kana (Asuka) Meiko Satomura Zack Sabre Jr. (He may be the most consistent in-ring wrestler of the decade) Will Ospreay (Incredible consistency as well) WALTER KUSHIDA Ricochet Roderick Strong Kyle O'Reilly Jay Lethal Davey Richards Daisuke Sekimoto Shuji Ishikawa Johnny Gargano The Young Bucks (Most consistent in-ring tag team of the decade) Chris Hero (Before going back to the WWE) Matt Riddle (Even though he came midway through the decade he has been amazing regardless) Volador Jr. Negro Casas
