I noticed no Bunny w/ Butcher & Blade, and no Marko w/ Jurassic Express. Are those two showing symptoms, or did they opt not to be there due to circumstances? Just wondering.

Was rather surprised to see Penelope Ford beat Riho, relatively cleanly and with no prior buildup.

I don't have too many friends into pro wrestling anymore. $50 is too much for a PPV in 2020, when you can get every WWE PPV for $10/mo. I would probably plunk down $30 or less to watch a show w/ a good lineup, though. Putting Blood & Guts on free TV makes sense. Not that I anticipate they'll have any problems, but this will let them work out any kinks with how they run the gimmick, before putting it on PPV and risking some kind of screw up with their production of it. As far as the teams in it, maybe they'll keep playing up this Nick Jackson injury, and then have the Elite injure one of the Inner Circle members. Each team gets one replacement member (Moxley and MJF would make most sense). Could sort of be a replay of the 1993 All Americans vs Foreign Fanatics angle.

I thought this was a great show. Much better wrestling matches than last week. I'll give credit where due to Joey Janela for actually showing something last night. Kind of looked like maybe he's been hitting the gym a bit, too? Seemed like he was in better shape than a few weeks back. It was also nice that they started a new women's feud with Britt Baker and Big Swole. They absolutely need to do a trios title of some sort soon. You have yet another three man unit now with the formation of the Death Triangle. This goes along with, potentially: - The Elite - Inner Circle (maybe Santana, Ortiz, and Guevara) - SCU - Jurassic Express - Dark Order (maybe the Exalted One, Uno, Stu, or any of those with the other two flunkies) - Stronghearts - MJF/Butcher/Blade (or could be Wardlow instead of MJF) - Best Friends w/ Orange Cassidy - Private Party and Joey Janela (If they decide to make that alliance a thing moving forward) - Possibly Cody/Dustin/QT ? Plenty of teams! My suggestion would be to make the title a trophy instead of three belts.

No to any more "collectives!" However, a couple solid tag teams would maybe be nice?

Wish it wasn't 50 bucks. Household budget is a bit tight right now, so I can't afford this one. Will look forward to reading thoughts from those of you who do watch the show.

Awesome Wednesday night. I loved the Iron Man match (and to be honest, I've been kind of down on Kenny Omega's ring work lately, but it worked on Dynamite). The sit down with the Elite was also perfect, and made me actually want to see the match even more now. The tag team division is almost too loaded right now. I really think they should examine creating a Trios Title for some of the groups like Jurassic Express, SCU, etc to fight over. The women's division has too many workers just kind of "there." Need to get some new feuds going, or something. Create some solid alliances between a couple of them, as well. I agree it was sort of weird that Cody and MJF were nonexistent on this show...but to be honest, if the whipping angle and cage match didn't get people salivating for this match, nothing would.

Watching Dark right now. Christi Jaymes seems OK enough, but how many more random women can this promotion bring in? Are there any storyline even going on with any of them, since the Nightmare Collective was quietly killed off?

It seems like AEW listened to the fans and decided to scrap the Nightmare Collective. For those who don't watch AEW Dark, Luther and Mel turned on Kong and laid her out. Brandi also had a segment talking to a shrink, where she basically said that she, "hadn't been herself lately." If they want to keep Luther around as Mel's henchman or whatever, I guess that's fine. Mel is at least decent in the ring. I do like the angle with Daniels and the Dark Order. This is a good fit for him, and I like what they're doing with this. I haven't been as down on the Dark Order as some people (though they absolutely should not have been in that show ending angle where they beat down the Elite a few weeks back). I actually like the Kip Sabian/Penelope Ford combo. I don't get why anyone is supposed to care at all about Janela. He physically looks like crap compared to most of the roster, and he doesn't really bring that much in the ring. This feud needs to reach a conclusion soon so Sabian can move on to bigger and better things. Maybe a feud with Darby Allin would make sense? I thought the 10 lashes angle was going to be lame, and I wasn't really looking forward to it, but they did a very good job with it. I liked the touches of having the heels watch on, and then Cody's friends coming out, capped off with Brandi coming out. Very well done.

I enjoyed the episode. The funny thing is, the Dark Order doesn't bother me that much. They shouldn't be "feuding" with the Elite though...they should be feuding with the Best Friends or something. The Nightmare Collective absolutely needs to go away. If they're hell bent on keeping the group, they should have them turn on Brandi. Take out Luther and erase him from history, while they're at it. Brandi isnt believable in this role, and Luther is beyond useless. The latest Dark episode continued the Shanna/Nyla feud, which has actually been halfway decent. They should be showcasing that, rather than the Nightmare Collective silliness. I agree with others that Darby deserves to start getting some bigger wins, and not just job in competitive matches.

There are way too many "Is this person going to join this stable???" angles every single episode. Also, the Nightmare Collective is way too much like the Dark Order. But why the hell is Dr. Luther associated with Brandi now? It is way too odd a pairing to work. Other than that, I'm enjoying AEW and what they're trying to do. The Moxley-Jericho angle was perfect. They should also introduce a six man tag team title, since they're doing so many of those matches on a regular basis (which I love to see, FWIW).
