Yeah, I never understood that. Did he ever explain his politics as it relates to Jesse Helms? Did Caudle believe the same things? I wasn’t aware of the Helms connection until fairly recently.

Bob Caudill was easily one of my favorite announcers of all time. So smooth and he got the stories over without being a distraction. He was always credible and also seemed like a genuinely nice person. RIP Bob Caudle
