  1. 243 - Jeff Jarrett 2006 Ranking: unranked Points: 342 # of Ballots: 14 Average Vote: 76.57 High Vote: 46 (NotJayTabb) Low Vote: 99 "I don't enjoy watching Shawn Michaels or Kurt Angle. Jarrett gave them both their best ever matches, and the credit goes to him, not them. Super smart, underrated wrestler. Late career veteran face Jarrett had more great performances than people remember."
  2. She has been the best joshi worker of the last decade... but yeah my best joshi worker ever is only top 15.

  8. 249 - Tamon Honda 2006 Ranking: honourable mention Points: 314 # of Ballots: 12 Average Vote: 74.83 High Vote: 46 (Dan Rice) Low Vote: 99 "Another guy that would've probably fallen off if my wrestling watching wasn't really weird and I watched all the golden era stuff I wanted. But I also have far more nostalgia and sentimentalism for NOAH bubble guys than pretty much anyone else so I'm fine with this as well. Tamon Honda is really great at the wrestling-they called him the god of amateur wrestling in the Samurai TV "where are they now?" video I watched recently. Anyway he took that talent and implented in a worked setting in a really neat fashion, busting out swank holds and suplexes and whatnot. Also him crying MAN TEARS during Kobashi's return match in 2007 is like, really emotional and stuff. I guess." GOTNW
  9. So are we back to thinking he was carried by Rick Rude etc? http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/21083-certifiable-carry-jobs/?p=5565510 One of jdw's more famous beatdowns of jvk. When did Goldberg have any performances along the lines of Warrior vs. Rude or vs. Savage? Didn't he just work squashes to hide his limiations? Like, do you think the average Goldberg squash is better than something like Warrior vs. HTM IC title win? Yes his squashes were better. Goldberg squahes blow away the HTM squash easily. Great matches with Sid, DDP and Ogawa. He had an aura, intensity and all of his matches felt like big time prize fights.
  10. Post prime. Snuka from late 70's till 83-84 was pretty damn great.
  11. I think Goldberg is clearly better than Warrior and was actively good.
  12. Does Mando>Eddie easily have the most high votes?

  15. We are both smart.. sometimes.
  16. I think some of your rankings are nuts too. Best not to dwell on them.
  17. 252 - "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka 2006 Ranking: honourable mention (133) Points: 308 # of Ballots: 8 Average Vote: 62.50 High Vote: 13 (John Steffy) Low Vote: 97

I guess I should probably write something more concise on him since I don't see him making many ballots but. Seriously. Watch that match. Please." GOTNW
  19. 254 - Dan Kroffat 2006 Ranking: 95 Points: 306 # of Ballots: 11 Average Vote: 73.18 High Vote: 53 (Dave Musgrave) Low Vote: 95 "Part of one of the best tag teams ever with Doug Furnas. His work in Canada in the mid-to-late 80's has some hidden gems." Dave Musgrave Recommended Match: Dan Kroffat and Armand Rougeau vs Chuck Simms and Sweet Daddy Siki (2/8/1987)

  21. Something that some might not be aware of on that list of matches. I watched ALL of them with Steven (aka Grimmas) on a show we do together called the All Japan Excite Series. He, himself, gave 4.75 or 5 stars to almost all of them too. Part of this whole argument is because I know how highly Steven rates those matches and those Kobashi performances, and yet he's still basically turning from them to put Bret over. It's trying to understand his thought process really, how he can be the same guy who I've talked All Japan with for literally 18+ hours. I cannot square it really. Read Stacey's post again.

  24. Come on, you know he's going to be higher than the likes of Stan Lane and Kenny Omega. I didn't vote for him, but he has a history of big matches.
